About Us


We are an independent Estate Agency offering a more individual approach to selling property. We focus on building a good working relationship with both sellers and buyers.

We have a reputation for selling properties in the Queens Park, Throop and Charminster areas of Bournemouth in particular, but we also sell properties in other surrounding areas. High levels of repeat business and recommendations we receive are a good indication of how we conduct our business.

From initial appraisal to preparation of high quality particulars, and negotiating / monitoring sales, owners can be sure they will receive our close attention at all times.

Buyers can be assured we will listen carefully to their requirements in order to match them to appropriate properties for a successful result.

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and professional standards, being members of both the National Association of Estate Agents and the Property Ombudsman Scheme.

"Margaret and her friendly team had previously sold our house in charminster and they are by far the best estate agent i,ve come across.At charminster her first words we "i really like this house and will have no difficulty selling it "and she did !!

So it was an automatic choice for us on our maisonette at southbourne -they are old school and follow through on everything they do and its refreshing to get feedback on viewings ,research on the potential buyers before an offer is presented and knowing that your sale is in good hands

Our solicitor commented on just how fantastic Margaret was

At the same time we sold our house in Kettering and the comparison with the estate agent there is like two extremes -the kettering agency was terse,didnt really bother after the offer was accepted and created a lot of problems by NOT following through and keeping an eye on the ball

From the very beginning of an extremely difficult transaction, due to many factors not least COVID and compounded by the fact that the chain involved five properties, Paul Watts showed nothing but absolute determination which never at any time compromised their true professionalism, caring, fairness and utmost integrity. Having worked in conveyancing for over 30 years I can hand on heart say that Paul Watts restored my faith in estate agents. "My sister and I decided to sell our late father's property. It was an emotional decision for us to take. Ideally we wanted to sell the property to someone who would live there as their family home, rather than as a short term development opportunity. Margaret showed genuine empathy towards us at the initial meeting. We decided to instruct Paul Watts because of Margaret's understanding of our situation, her realistic marketing strategy and competitive commission rate.

Within a month of the property going on the market, Margaret and her team found a buyer that met all our expectations.

The buyer, who was with another agent, had some issues in the sale of their own property that caused a delay in reaching Completion. However, Margaret's team at Paul Watts kept on top of this and provided us with regular updates and reassurance throughout the process.

I know that my sister and I made the right choice in choosing Margaret and her team at Paul Watts Estate Agents. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

"The whole team were great throughout the whole process - they were proactive and kept us informed at all stages up to completion.

They provided support before we went on the market advising us the best way to present the property and for minor works that would improve the chances of getting the price we wanted - we achieved slightly more than we originally thought we would get.

The whole team got to know the property and so they were all able to talk about it confidently with prospective buyers.

When our first buyers pulled out they were proactive in contacting the other interested parties and getting another offer almost immediately.

They managed our expectations well, in terms of price and also timings for the different stages of the process. They kept in touch with solicitors up and down the chain and were able to "prompt" where necessary.
