Purchasing a property in Highams Park. 1930s end of terraced, 5 bedroom.

"We purchased a property in Highams Park. McRaes have been absolutely excellent throughout the whole process.

McRaes matched us with the house and suggested it would be worth us viewing. They organised a second viewing for us and they did not rush us or pressurise us into making a decision.

We sold our house through an online estate agent. Due to difficulties with the sale of our house things did not go as smoothly as we had hoped. The difference between the service we received from our online agent and McRaes was massive. McRaes were always available to advise and support us. They were 'on the ball', honest, straightforward and professional. They worked hard and had real expertise to ensure the deal successfully went from the initial offer right through to completion.

If I was to sell a house again in the future, I would without doubt choose McRaes. I strongly recommend. They really are what an estate agent should be."

"Lisa was very friendly and supportive the whole way. Whilst she was working for the seller and clearly busy, she was helpful, responsive and transparent throughout the process. I had a real sense of a local company that valued local people it serves. Lisa was personable and we were able to speak regularly if there were issues, she has a good sense of humour which I guess helps. A real knack at bringing buyers and sellers together. Being local I felt I could either call in or speak on the phone to resolve or discuss anything."

"We recently entrusted McCraes with the sale of my mother’s property. It was a full circle experience for my family as McCraes had actually been the ones to sell the property to my mother, some decades ago.

Overall we were quite satisfied with their services. Selling a property can be a complex and stressful process, but the team helped to navigate us through it with professionalism and transparency.

One aspect that stood out during our experience was the excellent communication provided by our sales manager, Lisa. Despite the completion taking longer than expected (which was due to circumstances beyond anyone's control), Lisa ensured that we were kept informed with frequent updates. This approach helped to alleviate any concerns we had about the process.

"We had the option of a number of estate agents to use for the sale of our property and we are happy to report that we definitely made the right choice, choosing to use McRaes. From the initial meeting with Lisa when she came to value our property, to the conclusion of the sale, we found her to be extremely competent, warm, reliable and knowledgeable.

Lisa really puts her heart and soul in her role and as such was always available, keeping us informed of any updates providing us with regular feedback at all times. Thanks to her dedication we were able to find a buyer relatively quickly. From then on Lisa worked tirelessly to ensure the transaction went through as smoothly as possible, liaising with all parties regularly and updating us accordingly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Large 1930''s 3 bed Semi in Highams Park, in need of updating, with lots of room to extend, lovely location for forest, amenities and direct lines to Central London.

"Macraes initially helped us to rent out the property this following a close bereavement, they were throughout that time sensitive and helpful.
The tenancy ended and I made the decision to sell the property. Again Macraes were friendly and helpful alongside being both professional and
competent. Communication was first class by both e mail and phone. There was good communication regarding valuation and discussion about market conditions both nationally and specific to the area concerned.

Once the decision was made they helped steer me through the various stages of selling a property. At all times they were sensitive that this house had been our family home for 50 years. All the staff have been helpful, competent and efficient. I can honestly state that they have gone over and above what anyone could hope for from an Estate Agency both when we were letting the property and with the more recent sale.

I was always able to speak directly to the people actively engaged in marketing and negotiating, questions answered both quickly and honestly. It is a rare thing I find now to find a company who give such a personal and yet thoroughly professional service."
