"We can’t recommend Lisa at McRae’s highly enough - she was absolutely superb from start to finish.

In an industry that doesn’t enjoy the best reputation, Lisa is living proof that there are genuinely brilliant estate agents out there. While others in the chain seemed perfectly happy to sit on their backsides and admire the scenery, Lisa was the one doing all the heavy lifting - chasing, pushing, cajoling and generally refusing to let anything stall.

Her local knowledge was invaluable. She clearly knows the area and understands the market inside out, she knew exactly how to position our home, and gave us confidence that every decision - from pricing to negotiations - was spot on.

She didn’t just sell our house - she sold it for more than we expected, which was a welcome surprise. Throughout the process, her communication was spot on: regular, honest, and refreshingly straightforward.

Then, when our first buyer pulled out after losing his job, when some agents might have needed a quiet lie down - not Lisa. She simply rolled up her sleeves, found another buyer, and kept our onward purchase alive in the process.

One of the standout qualities that truly made a difference in our experience was Mr Mcrae and the teams’s excellent communication. Whether it was during normal working hours or often outside of them, I was always well-informed and supported. "Having looked at local social media it was noted that a high number of entries indicated that McRaes were a good choice. I have to agree with that thought. I have been very satisfied with all contacts with them from the first placing of my property onto the market to the (eventual) exchange of contracts. There was a false start with the first buyer who pulled out at a very late stage of the purchase process. This was in no way anything to do with McRaes who very quickly placed the property on the market again. This buyer has now exchanged contracts and a completion date agreed.
It was very obvious throughout the process that not all agents were as quick or as thorough as McRaes but I was provided with updates and feedback at all times very often latish into the evening. I had requested details of a solicitor that they knew and trusted and again an excellent choice was given - all this has made the process more pleasurable than it may well have been.

I have been delighted with the care and attention that all members of staff have given at all times especially Craig McRae and Lisa Fox and would be happy to recommend them as being of great quality and understanding. it is often said that moving is one of the most stressful things that one can do - it is made easier by such a company as McRaes."

"A lot of estate agents get bad press but McRae’s are the exception to this. From start to finish we were kept informed of everything that was going on and they went over and beyond in every aspect. We really cannot fault the service we received from Lisa, Craig and the team and they certainly worked extremely hard to get our sale over the line.
