"We had the option of a number of estate agents to use for the sale of our property and we are happy to report that we definitely made the right choice, choosing to use McRaes. From the initial meeting with Lisa when she came to value our property, to the conclusion of the sale, we found her to be extremely competent, warm, reliable and knowledgeable.

Lisa really puts her heart and soul in her role and as such was always available, keeping us informed of any updates providing us with regular feedback at all times. Thanks to her dedication we were able to find a buyer relatively quickly. From then on Lisa worked tirelessly to ensure the transaction went through as smoothly as possible, liaising with all parties regularly and updating us accordingly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Large 1930''s 3 bed Semi in Highams Park, in need of updating, with lots of room to extend, lovely location for forest, amenities and direct lines to Central London.

"Macraes initially helped us to rent out the property this following a close bereavement, they were throughout that time sensitive and helpful.
The tenancy ended and I made the decision to sell the property. Again Macraes were friendly and helpful alongside being both professional and
competent. Communication was first class by both e mail and phone. There was good communication regarding valuation and discussion about market conditions both nationally and specific to the area concerned.

Once the decision was made they helped steer me through the various stages of selling a property. At all times they were sensitive that this house had been our family home for 50 years. All the staff have been helpful, competent and efficient. I can honestly state that they have gone over and above what anyone could hope for from an Estate Agency both when we were letting the property and with the more recent sale.

I was always able to speak directly to the people actively engaged in marketing and negotiating, questions answered both quickly and honestly. It is a rare thing I find now to find a company who give such a personal and yet thoroughly professional service."

"As a buyer it was a pleasant experience dealing with Lisa and the team.

I feel like we had a difficult purchase, mainly caused by our buyer, and frustrations for us came when trying to have clear communication with people. So when we wanted to have a phone call during the few times when Lisa was away, that was frustrating as no one was able to cover.

At the end though Lisa was very supportive and understanding which was appreciated.

Communication is key, and its difficult to be confident that all parties and getting the same message when there are tricky situations. I always think phone calls are best rather than emails and I was always encourage people to check in with the key parties i.e. both the sellers and the buyers on a regular basis."

"This was a particularly difficult sale due to circumstances outside the agent's control, but Lisa dealt with the situation, and a very demanding buyer, extremely professionally and with good humour.
I was heavily dependent upon the support of McRae's throughout this process given that I live abroad and was unable to be at the property in person, and in this regard, they provided an excellent service.

"Lisa has been especially helpful and supportive during a long drawn out sale.
The valuation was fine and good photos taken for marketing.
Viewings were conducted by the team and I always received a phone call to give feedback.
They successfully conducted negotiations to achieve a good price.
When we nearing exchange the purchasers solicitor was hit by the cyber attack hitch caused huge delays. Lisa was very persistent in attempting to speak to the solicitor, and kept me informed as to progress (or lackof it).
She was delighted to ring me today to say that the exchange had gone through and completion date agreed.
