"Emphatically excellent in all aspects both buying and selling.
We were introduced to the possible purchase of the new property very promptly after our internet enquiry. Consequently Richard visited our own house and proposed a purchaser who was very enthusiastic and who immediately proceeded to purchase our house with no problems or encumbrances.
We were also advised of solicitors Boyes Turner in Reading who could not have been more helpful and efficient.
All in all a very professional experience with Marcus and Richard so helpful allowing us access for measurements etc pre completion. They certainly had their fingers on the pulse all the time and a pleasure to be associated with them.

"The team at Beville made a real difference in us being able to buy the house that we really wanted. They worked proactively to progress what was at times a difficult transaction. I was generally able to get hold of the staff very quickly and received clear feedback on my questions.

The team were friendly, I would recommend them to others in the same position. I think the fact that they are a small, locally knowledgeable firm rather then a more impersonal chain made a big difference. I certainly saw that other local firms did not take such good care of their clients.

In the end our transaction completed successfully despite a good size chain and a few issues along the way."

"Richard Beville and his team were first class. The property was on the market for a few months at a time when there was increasing market uncertainty towards the 2016 Brexit vote. Beville persevered through multiple viewings and remained positive throughout, from time to time refreshing photos to keep the advertising up to date and optimal.

Their marketing and presentation of the property was honest, straightforward and professional as was their response to questions from potential purchasers. The final negotiations with the eventual buyer seemed to be done with the objective of managing our best interests but in a realistic manner.

I'd recommend Beville to other potential sellers (and buyers)."

"We spoke to a number of estate agents when we came to sell but felt Beville had the best handle on the local market. They didn't try to push their own agenda and seemed reasonable on fees so we went with them. We were very pleased with the service and advice we received during what proved to be a drawn-out process with lots of ups and downs. They were realistic and consistent on valuation throughout, held their nerve when we had problems with our first buyers, and did a fantastic job of securing excellent second buyers for us when it looked like we had lost the property we were buying. Richard and Sara were responsive, professional, straight-talking and totally committed throughout. They were never pushy - we always felt they had our best interests to the fore and took a longer term view than others - and they really helped the transaction happen.
