"Re-accuracy took a number of phone calls from me before details re boiler changed, for buyers. Words asked 3 times for info which I gave strait away! Some viewings did not ever turn up! 2 bed terraced Victorian property in medium sized village.
 

"Both myself and the vendor had no chain but it still took 5 months to complete. The branch recommended their conveyancing service to me saying that it would be quicker if both myself and the vendor used their service. The Branch told me the fees over the phone which was comparable with my existing solicitor only to find that when confirmation of the fees was received they were higher. I then told them that I no longer wanted to use their solicitor and would revert back to my former solicitor. However, the branch didn’t pass this information on and sent the draft contract to the wrong solicitors. I was then liaising with their sales progressor, Deanna, who was at another Ward office. She said that the Branch had admitted their mistake in not passing the information on. However, there was a query with the boundary that my solicitor picked up on and I phoned Deanna and asked her to query this with the vendor. She said if that was what my solicitor had said then it must be right. I felt that she didn’t want me to question anything and fobbed me off saying she couldn’t get hold of the vendor and now that we have moved in I find there is confusion with the neighbours over the boundary which could have been resolved at the time of buying. The staff at the branch were very friendly and not pushy but their very poor administration has let them down and I would never recommend them to anyone."
