"Excellent work carried out to a very high standard. Our back garden has been completely transformed. Gary and Kris have been a godsend to us carrying out numerous jobs inside and outside our property over the past two years. Their excellent and helpful advice has been invaluable.

Stripped out fitted cupboards in two bedrooms (plasterboard, wood frames, fittings, doors etc), Removed old skirting boards and fitted new skirting boards throughout Dismantled and removed two large cabin beds/desk units Replaced damaged door frame facia in bathroom Resealed bath, join between wall and floor tiles in main bathroom and shower tray in en-suite Stripped out old skirting boards in downstairs toilet and replaced with new. Re-fitted towel rail

"GB Fixit provided an excellent end-to-end service. When assessing the work Gary proactively suggested options and gave good advice on the best approach for our requirements and I subsequently received a clear and detailed quote based on what we had agreed.

When sourcing the materials e.g. the replacement skirting boards we were provided with a range of options to chose from.

GB Fixit were very tidy, polite, and professional and all the various jobs were completed to a high standard. Gary is also very well connected with other trades which saved me a lot of time when sourcing reliable plasterers, joiners etc.

I was extremely happy with all aspects of the service and will be looking to get them back to do some other work as soon as they are available.

Setting up a retirement flat, including all kinds of tasks involving planing all the doors so newly fitted carpet would fit, upacking, building and siting flat-pack and other furniture, fitting curtain poles and curtains, and disposing of excess packaging.

"Gary and his work-partner did an absolutely outstanding job kitting out a retirement flat prior to my elderly mother moving into it. We discussed the job in detail beforehand, and Gary sent me a very detailed quote. As new issues that needed attention arose (e.g. the sticking doors mentioned below) he was kind enough to accommodate them into the work he was doing at the flat.

The flat was empty apart from furniture had been delivered to it, which Gary and partner unpacked, built and sited beautifully, setting my mother up with a warm and inviting new home. They also refitted doors that were sticking due to the new carpet that had been fitted (by a different company), and fitted new curtain rails and curtains for the property. Gary was helpful, thoughtful, and very kind and considerate throughout, from the first phone-call we had until the job was finished, and he went out of his way to make sure the work was completed to an excellent standard. I was delighted with the job he and his partner did. Gary also sent me numerous pictures of the finished flat which was very much appreciated as I live at the other end of the country, and wouldn't otherwise have been able to see the end result due to covid. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I have no hesitation in recommending GB Fixit in the strongest possible terms. I would definitely hire GB Fixit again."
