Converting an old derelict barn into a luxury holiday let.
From initial meetings with the architect, liaising closely with Building Inspectors, working with utility supply companies to install electricity, water and gas supplies and then finally managing and delivering the full range of building services (roofing, electrical, plastering, tiling, joinery).
Working in partnership with heritage dry stone wallers to ensure that the new property matched existing buildings.
Creating a mezzanine bedroom area, fully fitted kitchen, shower room, installing a new staircase. Repurposing many existing structural features such as timber frames, limestone floor tiles, acid-washing a feature stone fireplace.
Ensuring that the whole project was kept to an agreed budget and timeframe.
