"I have used this not for profit suppler of Monday to Friday hot meal delivery to help keep my elderly Mum and her partner living independently as things become more difficult to manage for them. For 2 weeks we have had a trial to see if it suited them and could provide a lunch time hot, balanced meal, delivered at a suitable time have to say that the service and quality is exactly what we wanted and at a very fair price.

I am impressed and this is a real positive service to have in our community.

Provision of a hot lunch delivered Monday to Friday to my elderly Mum''s partner, at home.

"From first contact phoning to enquire if my Mum and her partner could use this service, and how it would be delivered, I've been impressed by Good Wholesome Food.
The meals are of good quality and are delivered at a consistent time of day, really important for our routine.
Mum says that the gentleman that delivers to us in Hellesdon is very polite.
I also appreciate that this is a not-for-profit organisation, working in and for our community and I admire this greatly. It would be easy to charge more and be driven by other motivations.
If you are thinking of lightening your load a little as shopping and preparing meals become more difficult for you or someone you know, I highly recommend trying this out. I can find no negative comments at all, or suggestion for change. Just a phone call will get you going. It has made a difference to us, and is allowing me to return to work full time knowing my Mum's partner has a warm lunch each weekday. Fantastic."

"Good Wholesome Food are an amazing company. They have provided hot nourishing meals at lunchtime to our elderly father. Always delicious and always on time. Great communication also if you need to change a meal or stop if not needed on certain days. Fantastic!

"Thank you so much for delivering such lovely meals to my mum it has made my life so much more easier knowing she is having at least one decent meal a day.

Because of lockdown when I ring her we don’t have much to talk about as we are not doing anything but now when I ring her we can talk about what meal she had that day and what meal she will be having the next day.

I would highly recommend this service. Well done to all concerned 😊"

"My mum is so pleased with the quality of food and the variety too. Luckily mum doesn't have any food allergies or preferences but these can be catered for if necessary.

The volunteers who deliver the meals are always friendly and have a bit of a chat and a smile which mum appreciates.

From my point of view it was a pleasure to find a service which is so easy to order and pay for. A quick chat on the phone and everything is sorted - how often can you say that nowadays. Now I know that mum is eating a hot, nutritious, two-course lunch which is a relief to the family.

The service on more than one occasion wend beyond food delivery when the meal service notified us that Dad had been taken to hospital before the hospital.
