About Us

A fully mobile locksmith service based in Norwich and covering all Norfolk. Entry gained to lockouts as well as general lock repairs, replacements and upgrades. Other security hardware fitted including keysafes, chains, spyholes etc. On site key cutting facilities offered too. And remember - WE WON'T BE BEATEN ON PRICE!

Replacement of a new Yale locking cylinder.

"I called Linacre Locksmiths early in the morning on 8 July. Whilst on a dog walk I had managed to lose the key to our patio door and didn't have a spare. This is the door that our dog uses to go in and out of the house to the garden so really important to us be able to use!
I explained the situation and was told that I could be seen that day and I would be fitted in to the visits already planned.
This was excellent news and true to this a new lock was fitted within a few hours.
I was also given some advice about an issue with the door itself and also a problem with my front door handle.

Replacement mechanism for UPVC back door and replacement for broken window handle - both were stuck shut

"I telephoned at 7:45 this morning as my UPVC door mechanism broke last night and the door was stuck shut. I was asked when would be convenient for the work to be carried out. By noon today the door mechanism had been replaced and also a broken window handle replaced that I hadn't originally booked to be done. I was shown what had broken in both cases. Advice provided on what I can do about the central glass door panel to alleviate further issues. Very happy with the speed of response and the thorough job delivered. Price was as quoted and customer service friendly and polite. Highly recommend and if I have any more lock problems I will be using again"

Diagnosed a broken mechanism, replaced same and also a new, better fitting, barrel.

"I emailed Linacre Locksmiths after I was unable to open the rear upvc door, where the key was just spinning. I received a reply within an hour detailing the probable cause and the cost of various replacement parts.
We agreed on a date and time and they arrived promptly. Within minutes the door was open and the broken mechanism confirmed. I was shown the broken part before a new one was fitted.

"I rang Wayne on 30 December - in the middle of the Christmas period - so I was delighted when he said he would come the same day. He arrived when he said he would, completed the work quickly, cleaned up afterwards and gave me keys. Altogether an excellent job at a very reasonable price.
