The work involved repairs to a cracked cornice.

"The experience was first-class in that there was a pre-visit to assess the work and provide an estimate of cost, followed by an indication of the likely date on which the work would start. There was some slippage in this date although, in fairness,I was not pressing on this since it was not a vital piece of work.
The work was carried out smartly, cleanly and to the standard desired. Moreover, particularly impressive was the fact that the final account was markedly less than the original estimate since the work had taken less time than anticipated. This reduction was provided voluntarily and without any pressure from myself."

The work consisted of plastering an entire house as part of a full renovation project. Paul also laid tile insulation boards and a self-levelling screed across the entire ground floor of the property. Finally, Paul also completed the rendering of a large (25 metre long) concrete block retaining wall on one of the property boundaries.

"We have worked with Paul before and have always found him to be very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Paul has a good team of people working for him and is very well resourced to undertake work of a significant scale. We agreed the work to be undertaken and how this would be done along with a detailed quote for each piece of work. We also agreed a clear start date and Paul confirmed that a big team would come and complete the plastering work. On the agreed day, Paul and several of his team arrived just after 8am, working flat out well into the late evening to finish the job to a very high standard. The floors were completed the following week over two days with the insulation boards being fitted and then the self levelling screed added shortly after that had dried. The tilers were very happy with the quality of the floor as such a smooth and level surface made their job much more straightforward. The final job was the rendering of a long and very ugly cement block wall. Paul and team did a superb job and the rendering is of a high quality and has transformed that part of the property. When you work with Paul, everything is very clear, from the quote, the scheduling and completion of work through to the final invoice and payment. Paul runs a thoroughly professional, reliable and high quality business and we would recommend him to anyone looking for this kind of work."

"Paul and his team was very professional, work has been done to very high standard! The team have done huge amount of work in very short time. They were super friendly, very knowledgeable, always professional and always answered any questions I had. I had a lot of work done in my house and often I have been treated unprofessionally due to being a women. This team was always respectful, kept noises to minimum which was important to me as I was working at home and made messy job super tidy! Replastered living room ceiling and fit cornice in four rooms

"Paul responded to the request for a quote quickly, visiting the property and providing a written quote within the advised timescale. Work started when advised with contact beforehand advising the requirements re clearing rooms etc. Work was carried out within agreed timescales to a very good standard. Lovely finish to the ceiling and great cornice work despite the walls being less than square.

Friendly and helpful throughout with cleaning up provided at the end of day one and the finish of the job.

Really happy with the quality of the work and the cost.

Can’t think of anything that I would have liked done differently.

Would highly recommend and have no hesitation in using this firm again."

Plastering of 3 walls of a large kitchen plus construction of pipe box from floor to ceiling and along ceiling.

"Paul gave a very prompt estimate of the work to be done from my photos, and Andy and Ali did a first class job of plastering our kitchen walls.
There were a couple of additional things to be done which I thought about at the last minute - it was not a problem to Paul, he sorted them efficiently with the minimum bother and agreed a small extra cost.
Overall we were very pleased with the standard of work and the excellence of communication from Paul. He did exactly what he said he would do and gave us confidence that our kitchen would be completed to a high standard, which it was.
I highly recommend his services and would certainly use him again."

"This was a big job with coving installed in three very large rooms. The quality of Paul’s work has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Every angle cut to perfection, every irregularity in ceilings or walls dealt with, every joint smoothed and rendered invisible. All this carried out without leaving any mess at all and Paul and his helpers take great care to make it look like they were “never there”. I honestly didn’t think this kind of skill, diligence and quality existed any more but, in Paul, it does. I would unhesitatingly employ him again and would recommend him unreservedly."

Finish plaster an area of wall in the stairwell leading to the basement area of my house. The area to beplastered was part new plasterboard and part stone wall previously plastered and painted.

"After I contacted Paul he came to look at the job in a day or two and advised me on two different ways the job could be done. He explained the advantages of the more expensive method but quoted prices for both. He explained what would need to be done and for the method I had chosen the need for two visits. The first to carry out necessary prep work and lay out floor coverings to protect carpets etc. The bulk of the work commenced early the following morning at about eight. Paul and his colleague got to work straight away and everything was finished and cleared away in 3 to 4 hours. The quality of the work was excellent and there was no mess or materials left adhering to adjacent walls or carpets etc.

Paul has worked on and off for us over the last few months, helping renovate an old house. Plastering walls and ceilings, putting up cornicing, repairing damaged plaster architraving and tiling. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paul for any of the above works. He was a pleasure to have in the house, and is extremely clean and tidy in his work.

"Paul was pleasant to deal with from day one. Quotes received where requested, all work and hourly rate explained . Communication always prompt and any messages answered within 24 hours. He supplied all materials apart from the tiles we chose for the kitchen.
He is a genuine person and is honest and reliable. We would not have any other plasterer working in the house.

"Paul was an excellent workman and very punctual. The standard of work done is very good. The job turned out to be more complicated than first appeared and had to be done in parts to accommodate the fitting of new kitchen before the old one was removed.
