Hello, we are Bruce and Luke Maltby a Father and son plastering team.We
are Traditional Lime Plasterers our expertise and approach to care and repair of period property is our trademark.Our services include, Traditional Haired/ lime/chalk plastering. Repairs undertaken for ClayLump, Cob, and Wattle and Daub.We also re-furbish old and new buildings,including re-pointing red brick and flint walls. "The team had a difficult task with our windmill-But they were very professional and were able to solve any issue and discussed them with us along the way. Lime plastering of a two bedroom terraced house that needed complete renovation.

"I contacted Bruce Maltby a few years ago to discuss putting the house back to the way it should be with lime plaster and the outside to be re-pointed with lime because at some point in the past modern plaster and cement pointing had been used resulting in damp issues and deterioration of the fabric of the house, particularly the ground floor. The house was in a poor state. It took quite a while to get planning to put a bathroom upstairs and extend the kitchen, then waiting until the extension was done. I kept in touch with Bruce throughout the whole process as I wanted Maltby Plastering to do the work and he needed to know how the build was progressing in order to book the team in to do the lime plastering. Bruce and Luke have not only done an amazing job but helped out when a major problem cropped up. I can't recommend them highly enough. The whole team have a fantastic work ethic with very high standards."
