Alan replaced taps in our hand wash sink and fixed a leak in one of our toilets.

"Alan has carried out a couple of plumbing jobs for us, he responses quickly, comes and gives you a quote and then gets the job done at a time to suit you. The best tradesman we have had for a long time, honest and good at his job. He shops around to get the best value for any parts that he may need for the job to keep costs down as we are a charity."

Stopcock had stopped working and Alan was contacted to assist. Alan noticed the stopcock was no longer in functioning use and called Scottish water so that the water could be turned off from the outside tap for the street, all neighbours affected were informed and the water was switched off the next day so Alan could complete the works, stop cock was replaced and also into a more accessible area. Pipes were then moved to give it a tidier look. Alan ran checks throughout the works for water flow to see if there were any issues, everything ran smoothly. Alan then at the end of the works got me to check the water pressure to see if it was upto a good standard on my end. All rubbish and waste was tidied by Alan before he left.

"When contacted alan was prompt in organising a time to come and have a look at the works and also came on the time previously agreed, he explained the works he was about to do and also answered all the questions I asked him, very informative throughout which I was impressed with. The works were done quicker than I expected and i now have asked Alan to price up the next works I have planned. Reliable and Approachable for any queries and advice I asked for the upcoming jobs and also for the works he had just undertaken.
Kept my house tidy and kept me informed if anything goes wrong or I find something I’m not happy with just to give him a ring."

All plumbing work associated with my new kitchen being fitted.

"Allan was super, he had been organised for us by the guys who were fitting our kitchen. Came at the start and again at the end to fit our new sink and plumb in dishwasher. Very helpful, sorting out additional fittings that had not been supplied and explaining how he needed to fit things to ensure our fancy tap worked properly. We had an issue with the dishwasher, which Allan came back to check for us, but it was a fault with the appliance. But he took the time to come and check and then check in again if we had managed to get it sorted with Beko. Very good would use again and recommend."

Bathroom suite fitted. New toilet, hand-wash basin, radiator and tap.

* Considerable noise produced by water use throughout the house.
* Replacement of both plug fitting
* Replacement of shower
 

"First problem of noise of water pipes - having been told of various reasons for this, Mr. Farrell solved this problem much more quickly than I expected.
Return visit to sort plug for bath and shower - very quickly and efficiently done.

Contact Scottish Water to turn off water at Toby. Replaced stuck stopcock and all workings in cistern. Gave advice on central heating problems.
