"Couldn’t be happier with our en suite renovation completed by JJ Plumbing and Bathrooms, Dumfries!

This is the third room they have transformed in our house, having done a top notch job on the main bathroom and cloakroom last year. The whole experience, from first showroom visit through planning to completion, has been first class. Making choices has been easy, and enjoyable, in the slick JJ Plumbing and Bathrooms showroom which showcases lots of on trend bathroom sets for inspiration. Louise is fantastic at providing superb suggestions, showing different colour palette combinations and highlighting how to maximise space and increase storage which was especially key for this, the smallest room of the house! Everything from start to finish is taken care of and runs so smoothly, taking the stress and any worry right out of the process. There is clear communication throughout. Joe is a true professional, always punctual, pleasant and super helpful. He works diligently, neatly and orderly. The attention to detail is impeccable and all rooms completed are of the highest quality and have significantly upgraded our house. We cannot thank JJ Plumbing and Bathrooms enough for transforming the rooms into such calming, rejuvenating spaces. We’re really enjoying and absolutely delighted with our new en suite, it has become a serene, spa-like luxurious little sanctuary with such stylish storage solutions!

Complete bathroom renovation

"From the first visit to discuss design with Louise to the removal of old bathroom and replacement with shower room the process was seamless.
Louise has an in depth knowledge of the various bathroom products that can be supplied. She listened carefully to what I wanted and steered me through my options until we came up with the plan for my ideal ‘future proof’ shower room.
I was kept fully informed in the run up to and during the installation process.
Joe arrived when he said he would, explained each day what he’d be tackling & his attention to detail was second to none. He took care to cover carpets from the front door to the bathroom and cleared up each day as he went along.
I am absolutely delighted with the work carried out and would have no hesitation in highly recommending JJ plumbing."

To rip out and remove original bathroom. Replace all pipe work with new pvc type. Reconfigure layout and build false wall to accommodate pipe work and cables etc Install new shower unit, toilet and whb. Fix wallboards roof panels and install new flooring. Electrician fitted new spotlights, extractor fan, mirror and toothbrush/ shaver point. In bathroom 2 a new sliding shower door was fitted.

"We began our improvement plan in August 2025. We asked several companies for quotes and awaited replies. One company gave us good feedback and advice but was, we thought ,quite expensive. No one else replied!!

Determined to get another quote we went looking ourselves. We accidentally came across JJ Plumbing in Heathhall Industrial Estate. That was our lucky day!!

Louise took a lot of time explaining all our options and gave good advice re fittments ,wall and floor coverings, extras etc. Soon after a surveyer came to assess the job and within a week we had a quote for the job and time schedule for the work to be done.

Shaun came to check out the work and I felt confident he could complete this work. He certainly knew his stuff!! Nothing seemed to phase him. After a few days we had his quote and timescale for completion which was earlier than expected!!

He and his dad did a fantastic job for us. Always on time and meticulous about cleaning
up afterwards.

Thank you all so much. From start to finish it was just perfect 😊

"The whole process with JJ Plumbing was more than we could have asked for - our initial meeting in the showroom with Louise to start planning and review appointments to make adjustments/finalise were perfect - Louise was very knowledgeable, helpful, trustworthy and informative. The bathroom fitting itself - Joe was a perfectionist - all aspects of work were done to the highest standard and exceeded our expectations. They kept us updated/informed throughout and the house was kept clean and tidy.

"J.J. Plumbing carried out the renovation of our bathroom in January 2026 including the fitting of a shower. They came highly recommended by a family member and a friend. This company provided a first class service from our initial phone call, the day they came to measure up, the time Louise helped us in the design of the bathroom at their showroom, and the professional way Joe worked whilst on our premises. The job was completed well within the specified time and on viewing the finished work I would highly recommend this company to carry out any bathroom re-fit. We are highly delighted with our new bathroom and the quality of workmanship.

Bathroom measure and design. Removal and disposal of old bathroom. Supplying and fitting new bathroom. Sourcing electrician to complete electrical works required (fitting fan, new celing lights, mirror with light and shaver socket).

"I visited Louise in their showroom in Heathhall and felt immediately welcomed. They had already been and measured up my bathroom and so Louise was able to show me the bathroom design on screen. Louise was extrenely helpful with design ideas and going with my view of reconfiguring my bathroom layout.

Joe arrived a few months later on the agreed date and worked alone removing, disposing of old bathroom and fitting new bathroom. Joe also advised me to get a different shower from what we had ordered as he felt it would be more beneficial for us, which he was absolutely right! He done this at no additional cost. The finished bathroom feels like boutique hotel quality and I am thrilled with the finished result.

Joe was extremely clean and tidied up every night at end of working day.

Cannot recommend this company enough for advice, design and fitting. Such a lovely couple and I have raved about them to anyone that will listen.

"Louise of JJ Plumbing & Bathrooms was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us when designing our dream bathroom. She showed us various options until it was perfect and we were able see the CAD design on the screen of the vision & final look, it was nice to see it come together during the design process. Louise was clear on the wait time for work to commence and the work commenced on the predicted date, no delays whatsoever. Her communication and customer service was excellent and she was very accommodating. She also organised an electrician and joiner for us and ordered additional new doors for 3 rooms and arranged for Joe to also supply & fit a new kitchen tap & repair a leaking stop cock. Joe was friendly, hard working and professional throughout and we had every confidence in him. He kept us informed and gave us options on placement of sink, handles, tap etc and made helpful suggestions when we were indecisive which we really appreciated. He always left the area tidy at the end of each day and the completed bathroom was perfect, we couldn't have asked for more, we wouldn't have changed a single thing. We are thrilled to bits with the final look & quality of our new bathroom. My sister had two bathrooms fitted by Joe and she recommended JJ Plumbing to us due to Joe's attention to detail and professionalism. I was looking to completely revamp my bathroom and having heard good reports about JJ Plumbing & Bathrooms, I visited their showroom in March 2024. The showroom is impressive and Louise then made the initial visit and produced the images which turned out to be a very accurate representation of the finished bathroom. I was happy to wait for Joe to do the installation even though his schedule meant that it would be December. I thought that the fact he was booked so far ahead was a good reference for the company.

"The quality of both the fixtures and the installation work has been everything I had anticipated and I am absolutely delighted with my bathroom. I would have no hesitation in recommending Joe and Louise to anyone thinking of a new bathroom.

I wanted to deal with a local company and had heard good reports about JJ Plumbing & Bathrooms. From my initial visit to the showroom and the design stage was a pleasant and unrushed experience with Louise being very helpful and professional with her advice.

The actual installation went ahead on schedule and was completed from start to finish in the timescale advised. I could probably have found a cheaper option but I believe that you get what you pay for and the quality of both the product and the installation work has not disappointed."

"We were recommended JJPlumbing by a family connection, who spoke highly of the work that had been completed in the previous year. We callled at the showroom and Louise led us through the options that were available. No pressure sale, an enjoyable experience. The showroom was of great help in visualising the ideas that we had and Louise helped to keep us on track and aware of the cost factor in each decision. We in due course received a detailed written quotation and confirmation of the start date. We met Joe early on the morning that the work was scheduled to start He was early on each subsequent morning. The job was completed in less time than was scheduled and the workmanship surpassed our expectations. There was minimal disruption and Joe was very tidy and kept us advised of all and any decisions that were required.
We are delighted with the result, and would have no hesitation in recommending Joe and Louise.

Full bathroom replacement.

"After an initial enquiry, the bathroom was measured and an appointment was made to discuss options. We found Louise to be very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the bathroom design. She asked lots of questions to establish what we wanted and what we liked and was able to show us various products in the showroom also giving information about sizes and colours. Louise was friendly and welcoming and very patient. At no point did we feel we needed to rush or were pushed into making a decision. After making our choice, we received an estimated quote for our approval. Once we had agreed this a date for fitting was provided. A few weeks prior to fitting, Louise invited us back to the showroom to go over what we’d chosen and gave us an option to change anything. Joe arrived on the specified date and worked solidly until the project was finished. Joe was also friendly and polite and discussed options during the process to ensure the finished bathroom would be the way we wanted it. He cleaned up at the end of each day and left no mess in the house or outside during the whole process. The workmanship carried out was to a really high standard and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. We’re now looking forward to getting our en-suite replaced with them. We also received a lovely unexpected gift from them, thanking us for our custom."

"Stuart arrived on time to measure bathroom, he was Professional and helpful.
We were invited to the showroom by Louise, to design the bathroom,we wanted a grey colour,lots to choose from,with Louise's knowledge Professional help, we soon had our bathroom designed. Louise arranged for an electrician for fittin of the light ect..Date was made for fitting the bathroom.
Joe arrived on time,he very hard working Professional and helpful,nothing was a bother to him, very neat and tidy.
We were overwhelmed with Joe's work.
