We had an issue where the kitchen tap would make a loud noise and would drip/run when the toilet/shower/bathroom sink was used. Domestic Plumbing and Heating fitted a new valve, PRV and a new tap

I have contacted Domestic Plumbing&Heating to carry out routine annual boiler service.

"I have picked this company from Trusted Trader website based on previous reviews which seemed v positive. Unfortunately it turned out disasterous. The plumber during ckeck of hot water feature of d boiler left bathroom sink tap on d full blast and left d bathroom to carry out other checks. Due to slow flowing drains (old house) sink overflown and flooded bathroom and kitchen beneath. It was his mistake and unfortunate incident however totally preventable.

I can't fault d staff in d office and plumber-they were v apologetic but company owner did everything to avoid paying for the damage-not responding to phonecalls etc only when i contacted trusted traders seem to try negotiate offering �100 for d damage. I had to ask trade plasterers for the quote as kitchen ceiling was ruined. At the end i was offered �200 less charge for d boiler nonsence service i got (to cover both ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom flooring). We agreed to fix it all ourselves. Didn't have a choice given d cost. His attitude and lack of respect towards customer was shocking. Accepted accountability blaiming me in the process for slow draining pipes. Unbelievable. If you considering this company-go somewhere else!"

Dear Aneta, we apologise for the unfortunate service you experienced whilst having your boiler serviced, we have tried resolving the issues. Our goal is the satisfaction of all our customers and to provide a positive experience. Unfortunately on this occasion it was an accident which was unforeseen, the engineer requires to run a tap to carry out an analyser test to the boiler only unknown to him the bathroom basin was partially blocked, this resulted in the basin overflowing onto the bathroom floor whilst he carried out the necessary checks to the boiler. The manager was on holiday and unable to attend but I believe the supervisor attended to review the damage and informed you the manager would visit on his return.
On receiving quotes from the appropriate trades we found �150 to be sufficient amount to compensate for the works to be carried out, I understand this wasn�t accepted, further to this we offered to pay for all works by arranging the trades ourselves, I understand this wasn�t accepted. It was finally agreed that �200 compensation would be paid to you but sadly from what I can read this wasn�t suffice.
