After nearly 49 years I finally moved from a three bedroom house to a first floor retirement flat so there was a lot of stuff to move. Some furniture was also moved from my house and my flat to my daughters.

"I was extremely impressed with the hard working team that moved me yesterday and also delivered some furniture to my daughter. After nearly 49 years in my house there was a lot to move and everything was done very smoothly and with great care. My thanks go to them on what was a very hot and tiring day. Contents of large 4 - bedroom house move into store ( including an expensive piano ). Contents moved one week later to final destination. then, rented flat emptied one week later and moved to final destination. Also included in move: heavy garden statues and ornaments (with piano !) all done perfectly.

Absolutely brilliant. hard working cheerful, helpful and unflappable. I have never found better workman!! I will be delighted to be used as a reference. I will write a more formal letter on first opportunity and sorry I have not completed this earlier.

The men arrived promptly at 8.15 and got on with loading straight away. This was done in 4 1/2 hours as there were only 3 men. We picked up the keys and were in the new house within 2 hours.

The move was held up on the day due to legal issues. This put the team behind on unloading the van. However they worked very hard and efficiently and called in extra staff so they completed on time.

"Colin Batts were excellent. They came out, on a very cold and snowy day in February, to check premises and what was required. Two weeks later, they came again to perform the move.

Staff were professional, and very kind, at all times. They made special efforts to make sure I knew what was going on and to ask any questions - ie. taking full account of my communication and mobility problems.
