Moved from 2nd floor flat in a converted 1850s building with a very narrow staircase, with two extremely tight turns between each floor.

"Easy, simple process from the initial query, including the estimate, explanation of the move and logistics, packing boxes, timescales, and flexibility. Professional, friendly and very helpful office-based team, and the removal team on the day were courteous, competent, polite and again very helpful and professional, and took great care of our belongings. They also took note and anticipated our needs on the day, adjusting the sequence of moving items into the new property as needed. Overall a really good experience and we would not hesitate to use them again (very similar experience to when we used them previously in 2015, and hence why we chose Banburys as our first choice again this time)."

The Banburys team who did my move, were hard-working, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.

Banburys had to split our move due availability. They were really flexible. They arrived at our house in Gloucestershire and from packing starting to leaving was 5 and a half hours. They did such a great job of packing. They were careful with our things and packed them really well. They had to decant our belongings into a smaller lorry to move into our house in Devon due to the narrow road. They did 3 runs to unpack us and took us 4 hours. They were polite, thorough, hardworking and committed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. This was a complex and a big move to a totally new area and Banbury’s reduced the stress so much.

"I was dreading the move and we had had some crazy quotes to move us. Banbury’s quote was at a level I was expecting. They were amazing! The 3 lads that moved us out of our house were done and dusted from starting packing to driving away in 5 and a half hours. They dismantled furniture where requires. They were careful, neat, polite and thorough. They then stored our furniture for a few days and a week later moved us in to our new house. They rebuilt furniture they had dismantled, again took great care and moved us in 4 hours. I have no hesitation in recommending Banburys. They do a great job, are a pleasure to work with and are reasonably priced."

"Qiuck, efficient and organised. What a lovely polite team, who made the moving of our piano seamless and stress free. The piano didn't even need retuning! If we ever need anything moved again. We will certainly use Banburys."

We had a chain of 5, unfortunately including 2 Purple Bricks customers which did not help to expedite the chain of communication and there were many changes of move dates, mostly within the last 3 weeks

"We are just so pleased that we chose to move with Banbury’s as our moving date changed 3 times and each time they came up trumps, moving things around to accommodate our needs. The stress was incredible but Banbury’s remained unflappable and supportive. Our move took place over 4 days due to the issues along the chain but the removal men were just fantastic from the moment they arrived until they left us in our new property. We were amazed and impressed at their professionalism, calmness and unflappability. This is my 4th time using Banburys removals and I cannot fault their service. Our move this time around was to a more rural location. They did the removals over two days using a smaller vehicle to enable a smoother access. I was also moving out of the area, and Banburys were still able to support with my move and made the whole process seamless and stress free.

"I cannot tell you the difference this made to alleviating the stress of the move.

John who is the main point of contact prior to my move couldn’t be more helpful, and organised everything on the lead up to the move. Dean and Joe our removers were both brilliant, we have had Dean move us a few times and his care and attention to detail is second to none.

Thank you Banburys, I wouldn’t hesitate to use their removal services again, and cannot recommend them enough!"

The move was over a distance of over 200 miles each way. Following a visit by John, we felt confidence in him. We had tried two other companies, but felt more confidence in Banburys.

"On the morning of the move, three lads turned up , using a smaller van to tranship to a larger vehicle (owing to our cottage being in a narrow street. The moving out was completed promptly. We had packed our own things prior to this, The hanging clothes and larger pictures an mirrors were packed by Banburys.

The following day, two lads, Ollie and Steve arrived on time and managed to get everything into the new property in about two hours. A very good service with no breakages. I would recommend Banburys to anyone.

A very professional team, smart appearance, and genuinely interested in the clients. A good price for a good service. I would recommend Banburys to anyone. We had tried two other companies prior to Banburys.We had confidence in them. Well done!"

The boys that did the packing were also polite, clean and tried to pack carefully.

"The lads came when they said they would and worked hard both mornings. They were friendly and polite, and made the move go smoothly. All of our belongings arrived in one piece then next day. John was also helpful dropping the boxes to us in advance to pack, and collected them afterwards. Thanks for removing the stress.

Movers to pack all china and glass, dismantle two double beds. Empty three bedroomed, fourth floor apartment and securely store contents overnight. Next day delivery to storage at temporary accommodation. Subsequent payment for postponement penalty waiver

"Friendly and helpful response to initial telephone enquiry.

Speedy home visit, inspection of premises to be vacated and clear explanation of service including clarification to various questions.
Prompt delivery of written estimate of service and response to acceptance of terms.

Postponement waiver discussed and authorised when issue arose of buyer's potential delay to completion date.

As volunteered, ideal parking for large removal van facilitated by self in discussion with neighbouring church and local Town Hall.

Team of four arrived on time & very professionally removed the contracted removal without problem.

All were very polite and hard-working.

Next day team of two arrived on time to temporary accommodation & delivered the packaged household contents very efficiently."

The move was local (5 miles) but involved a 8 week period between moving out and moving in while the contents held in storage. Both the moving out date and moving in date were quite last minute due to issues with buyer''s solicitors and then last minute delays caused by the new home developer. Banbury''s were exceptionally accommodating on both occasions.

"Banbury's were exceptionally accommodating, extremely efficient and professional throughout, despite last minute delays and complications (caused by other parties) around both moving out and moving in. This was exactly what we needed during a very stressful period.

Everything was explained upfront and the team were very efficient and thorough in removing and loading contents. Nothing was too much of a problem and we would thoroughly recommend Banbury's to anyone moving home.
