"Starting off with John Gauge , who is always so helpful and pleasant to speak to . He is always professional, polite and nothing is too much trouble. John will find a solution to any difficulties you may have. He is an asset to Banburys Removals.

Staff on the telephone are helpful and polite.

The removal team, were courteous , always careful, clean in their work and easy to get along with. The team was quick and efficient on the day of removal. We have never experienced any breakages or damage. They take care of your furniture and fragile items with special protective wraps.

We highly recommend Banburys to help reduce the stress in moving in what is often a very tense time. Thank you John & Julie

We moved from a bungalow to a bungalow.

"We moved home with Banburys of Barnstaple. The moving experience was excellent. Prior to moving day Banburys were just a phone call away if we had any questions or concerns. Everything was fully explained by the surveyor who priced up the job. Packing boxes and materials were delivered well in advance giving us plenty of time to get everything packed away. On moving day the guys were brilliant and worked quickly, efficiently and everything was carried out with care and consideration. Ditto unloading and ensuring everything was placed correctly. Over the years we have moved home on five occasions and this was by far our best experience."

I sold my house and needed to put my possessions in storage until work on my new one was finished. This took 9 months, longer than expected.

"I have used Banburys several times. This was my first move on my own, and it was important to have a service that was reliable and all encompassing. The initial visit to estimate cost was informative and helpful. I was surprised at how little the move in and out of houses and storage cost. I also benefitted from a returning customer discount.

I chose to pack my own goods and I was provided with plenty of materials to do that. The moves out of one house and into the other were smooth and efficient. Care was taken not to damage anything in the houses and to protect floor coverings. The staff were polite and friendly.

My possessions were in the same condition when they came out of 9 month storage as they were when put in."

"From start to finish everything was done professionally. On time, well informed, questions asked at all times when picking up and delivering, polite and punctual. You get what you pay for. Moved home. I did the packing, Banburys moved my belongings. Moved from a 2 storey house with narrow stairs - not an issue for the team. Narrow street meant that 2 smaller vehicles used so as not to block the road.

"The whole process was efficient, friendly and good value for money. The office & removal teams were helpful, polite, respectful of my belongings and very professional. All went very well, very friendly & efficient. Excellent service. I would not hesitate to use Banbury's again and Fully recommend them."

A difficult move from a thatched Devon long-house with tight, restricted spaces and steep, narrow staircases to a small bungalow in Dorset. Banbury''s Removals were fantastic in every way!

"Mid December, Banbury's Removals visited my mother's home with a view to moving her from North Devon to Dorset on January 12th-14th. I chose Banbury's because of their professional approach, their competitive quote, and the confidence they engendered in me during their visit, that their team would do a good job.

I was not disappointed. Two men arrived on the first of three days to pack up the house, using their own boxes, packing paper and tape. The heavy lifting was undertaken on the second and third days by three men, including the drive to Dorset and back in one day. I was so impressed by their professionalism. They were lifting and manoeuvring extremely heavy furniture up and down narrow staircases, in and out of narrow doorways, and often in light rain. They were hard-working and positive, always respectful of my mother's belongings, and displayed cheerful good humour even when problems cropped up with how to shift bulky items in restricted spaces.

The men worked incredibly hard throughout each day, and were a pleasure to be around. And not a single item was chipped, broken or damaged in any way, which was pretty amazing considering the size of the job.

I would not hesitate to recommend Banbury's Removals to anyone!"

Moving from a house on the side of a cliff with no access, was always going to be a challenge but the guys from Banburys made it look easy! There were no complaints about carrying all our furniture up 2 flights of steps, none that we heard anyway, and we were all packed up before the rain started. Unpacking at our new home was super quick. I was so impressed with Banburys.

Moved from 2nd floor flat in a converted 1850s building with a very narrow staircase, with two extremely tight turns between each floor.

"Easy, simple process from the initial query, including the estimate, explanation of the move and logistics, packing boxes, timescales, and flexibility. Professional, friendly and very helpful office-based team, and the removal team on the day were courteous, competent, polite and again very helpful and professional, and took great care of our belongings. They also took note and anticipated our needs on the day, adjusting the sequence of moving items into the new property as needed. Overall a really good experience and we would not hesitate to use them again (very similar experience to when we used them previously in 2015, and hence why we chose Banburys as our first choice again this time)."

Banburys had to split our move due availability. They were really flexible. They arrived at our house in Gloucestershire and from packing starting to leaving was 5 and a half hours. They did such a great job of packing. They were careful with our things and packed them really well. They had to decant our belongings into a smaller lorry to move into our house in Devon due to the narrow road. They did 3 runs to unpack us and took us 4 hours. They were polite, thorough, hardworking and committed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. This was a complex and a big move to a totally new area and Banbury’s reduced the stress so much.

"I was dreading the move and we had had some crazy quotes to move us. Banbury’s quote was at a level I was expecting. They were amazing! The 3 lads that moved us out of our house were done and dusted from starting packing to driving away in 5 and a half hours. They dismantled furniture where requires. They were careful, neat, polite and thorough. They then stored our furniture for a few days and a week later moved us in to our new house. They rebuilt furniture they had dismantled, again took great care and moved us in 4 hours. I have no hesitation in recommending Banburys. They do a great job, are a pleasure to work with and are reasonably priced."

"Qiuck, efficient and organised. What a lovely polite team, who made the moving of our piano seamless and stress free. The piano didn't even need retuning! If we ever need anything moved again. We will certainly use Banburys."
