Move from a large farmhouse, without near road access, to a bungalow 40 miles away. Several antique clocks, including a longcase clock, and a lot of fragile china and glass, all carefully packed, and delivered without any breakages. Qr

"Apart from a slight misunderstanding about the delivery date ( which required a night in storage because completion was delayed) move was as easy as it could have been. The team were very tolerant of the long distance everything had to be carried in miserable weather, a few days before Christmas.

Just a short move within North Devon.

"Everything unfolded exactly as we had hoped for. The movers were prompt, friendly and very efficient. They were never irritated by sudden changes of mind about what should go where. Everything arrived in good shape. The appropriate size of van was effective for our narrow steep street. The whole thing was carried along by the cheerful optimism of the whole team. Great job."

We moved from a 4 bed house to a 2 bed bungalow 7 miles away

"John visited to do a quote, he was friendly, professional and informative. It was very reassuring to hear the words "It is an easy move".
The quote arrived quickly and was good value in comparison with others we had received.
The company were very obliging when we gave them provisional moving dates, and demonstrated flexibility when this changed, and was beyond our control.
On the day the team of removers were friendly, polite and did an efficient job. They worked very quickly and it appeared nothing was too much trouble for them.
My only comment would be that it might be easier for future clients if boxes in the kitchen are stacked so you can open cupboards & drawers without moving them all.
The service throughout was efficient & professional and certainly reliieved some stress on a very stressful day."

This was a move from a 5-bed house into store for 3 months and then move to new property. Also removal of some items to a bungalow temporarily for the three month period followed by removal to the final destination. Essentially three separate jobs plus storage, priced separately.

"Banburys Removals were friendly, first class and thoroughly professional at every step from pricing, removal to store and delivery. They worked quickly but carefully to clear the house, store and then deliver to the new house with no loss or damage."

After 22 years living at our holiday cottage complex we instructed Banbury Removals to help us downsize and move to a new property, a complex project.

"What a good choice, from the first time we met their manager John Gage we felt a weight was lifted. John was very experienced, personable and professional (in a friendly way). He took control and organised the entire project and together with his removal team the entire downsize/relocation went without a hitch. The whole team were a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. If we had any questions they were quick to respond.
Banbury Removals were brilliant and we would not hesitate to recommend their services. For the work involved their quotation was excellent value for money. Well done to the whole team."

Moving late in life is additionally stressful, despite only having to move only 300 metres within the village of Willand, but it involved down-sizing from a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom semi converted to single accommodation. Additionally although the house had its own drive for loading, the semi had a detached garage so the transit from road to house added problems for unloading.

"Totally clear explanation with courtesy and understanding of an elderly person's concern and excellent staff dealing with any subsequent telephone enquiries. Could not be faulted in any sphere of their operation that I experienced thank you"

A straight forward move of 4 miles to new home. We packed ourselves by choice. Incredibly helpful to have the beds dismantled and re-assembled by Banbury team.

"Banburys Team were brilliant from the quotation to completion.
The quotation was accurate and helpful for a framework as we planned to move. Boxes were delivered as requested and on time.

On the day of the move, the friendly team arrived in good time and were finished before 1pm. They worked carefully, cheerfully and efficiently.

At the new home, they unloaded with care, checked everything was where we wished it to be and moving it when we re-thought a piece of furniture.

This was the least stressful move for us in 40+years with 8 house moves.
In comparison with many other removal companies, the price was good, fair and very competitive.

Banburys are a great local firm and I highly recommend them.

Our move was in three separate parts: 1 from old house to storage 2 from rental to storage 3 from storage to new address in two lifts Each part of the move was done quickly, efficiently and cheerfully. Mind you they were all perspiring freely towards the end. Highly recommended company.

"The men coming to help us move had their work cut out as our house was on a hill side with 24 steps up to the front door.
They set too quickly and cheerfully and got the job done to put the bulk into storage.
The next step was to take the items from our rental and put that into storage as well
The third step was to bring the stuff from storage to our new house.
The move was from Instow to Barnstaple storage and from Barnstaple rental to Barnstaple storage then from Barnstaple storage to Southampton.
All the moves were done very cheerfully, quickly, efficiently and with care for property.
Before we used Banbury we had estimates from three different companies. Although not the cheapest John seemed to be the most efficient and professional.
The four who did the first part were quick and cheerful. The two who did the last bit were exceptional."

Removal of a small number of furniture items from one house to another just a few miles away. No packing service was required.

"Happy to recommend this company due to the ease of arranging a home visit to discuss the removal requirements. I was happy to accept the proposal on the day as it was less than expected and well within my budget, making it possible to agree a removal date at the same time. Only a deposit was required initially (I was asked to call the office to make payment) and a reminder was sent when the balance was due. Email confirmation was received confirming the arrangements and they followed up with a phonecall the diary before the removal date. The removers themselves rang on the morning of the removal date to confirm their approximate arrival time."

Full packing service. Moved out of 3 storey house and also in to 3 storey house.

"My third move with Banburys. Opted for a full packing service, which was amazing. The team came in and packed in a day, what would have taken me weeks, plus they did it to a better standard. Removals day arrived with snow and rain, which just seemed to motivate them to move even faster. A few damp spots from going from van to house, but nothing damaged, and no issues despite many stairs to climb.

"Great service…we had looked at an “on line” company but Banburys not only bettered their price but also gave us a far more personal service.
