We received a fantastic service from Jamie Briggs Removal Company in January 2026. From the initial visit by Luke who was polite, helpful and explained the whole process to the removal of the boxes after the move was exceptional! We opted for the packing service, which I can highly recommend.

"Neil arrived promptly the day before to pack and again on the day of the move with a team who were extremely polite and professional throughout the whole day. They worked so hard to ensure the move went smoothly, nothing was too much trouble!

We contacted the company after the move to come and collect the empty boxes which, again, was done promptly and efficiently. We even received a moving in card and a beautiful gift to our new home thanking us for using their services ❤️

Our move was planned for three days due to the distance to our new house. Day one was to pack. Day two to finish off packing and move to new house. Once there unload until dark. Day three finish off unloading until complete.

"At the most stressful time, the Team at Jamie Briggs were professional, courteous, understanding and completely accommodating. From the initial quote, the amendments to the removal date, and then the three days for the move, we could not have asked for a better team. Sizeable quantity to move from a 5 bed house to a 3 bed bungalow, with a large number of garden items included. Our solicitor advised on a Thursday that we could exchange the following day and complete the coming Wednesday. Our planned removers couldn’t achieve the timescale and our buyers removers,( Jamie Briggs) stepped in to help. Surveyed on the Friday, dropped off boxes on Saturday and packed vehicles on Tuesday and Wednesday.

"All contact with the removers was exemplary. We were delighted with the service from first contact to the last. The firm responded quickly to our short notice timescale for completion.

The site survey was agreed by telephone and carried out the following day. The contract terms and conditions were fully explained and the price agreed the same afternoon. Packing boxes and materials were delivered the following day.

Over 2 days the removal vehicles were packed, 1 to go into storage and the other to be delivered after lunchtime on day 2, on completion. The team could not have been more helpful, considerate and careful with all of the contents. Nothing was too much trouble.

I was moving within Banbury after living in the same house for 25 years. I asked for certain items to be packed by Jamie Briggs but the majority of items were packed by me. I had a huge amount of garden pots, which meant I needed the largest removal truck plus an extra van.

"I’m so pleased I chose Jamie Briggs for my move. The whole process was so efficient due to them. I was amazed at the strength and speed of the guys moving stuff out of my old house and into the new.

To be given good advice beforehand, such as being able to leave items in wardrobes and chests of drawers saved on a lot of space and packing time.

1-bed flat move within local area.

"I would recommend Jamie Briggs Removals without hesitation. From first contact, to surveying appointment, to the move itself, the firm conducted itself with utmost professionalism and courtesy, and did a fine job completing the move.

My move was complicated by a particularly heavy piano having to be moved down from the first floor. The firm went to all ends to make this happen, including bringing in additional support and a scissor lift, which was a herculean task. They handled it without a fuss, and I could not be happier with their performance."

"Every aspect from quote to moving day has been great, clearly know what they are doing and despite initially not being available once our completion day was confirmed, managed to make changes to accommodate us. We moved from one 3-bed semi to another. We paid for the movers to pack the day before so we would have plenty of time to clean and not be in a hurry.

"We received an excellent service from start to finish. They made moving home a great experience instead of a stressful one. The team who moved us were so helpful, efficient and also really kind to our unimpressed cat! They packed everything very quickly and carefully.

"Having use Jamie Briggs some years back when we moved into this properly and us remembering they provided an excellent service then we thought we’d use them again.

Full packing service chosen. Moved over 3 days (2 days packing and boxing plus the bulk of the move on the 3rd day

"The whole experience from valuations and quotations, office staff, and the packing handling and delivery could not be faulted. The staff were, helpful, polite, knowledgeable and professional. We are a couple in our 70s and the prospect of moving after 25 years in one place was daunting. Jamie Briggs’ staff made it as smooth as possible - they limited the stress factor; very pleased with the service."
