Because we had a very long garden with a garage at the back it was deemed necessary to have two vehicles, one at the front of the house and one at the back due to the amount of boxes and things to load from the garage.

"From contacting Cliffe�s for a quote to the actual moving date we were very impressed with the level of service we received. The staff were very polite, friendly and efficient. The staff were very careful moving our belongings and loading them onto the lorries. So far doing the unpacking we have not found any damage or breakages."

Excellent move despite some problems that came to light after loading and setting off.

"The staff were exceptionally helpful and understood what was required. The loading was completed around 1130 from a 0800 start. Over 100 boxes and large amount of garage equipment as well. Furniture moved with care. All this with no tea breaks as I had packed the kettle. On arrival at the destination the drivers found that the keys could not be released until some legal work was completed. Despite all this the unloading was completed after the legal work was sorted out. Altogether an excellent company from my first visit to the removal date which was just a few days."

Moving from Lincolnshire to Hertfordshire, a 3 day move

"The move went well, though it was clear that by the second and third day the removers were getting very tired. This was not helped by different people on the first day who had missed packing cupboards and drawers.

In fact, since arriving, my previous home has been checked and a couple of cupboards were found to still be full, despite us being told that the room was emptied and complete. Obviously we take some responsibility ourselves for not checking more thoroughly, but given that moving is a stressful process, when the removal team, who are employed and do removals for a living tell us that a room is completely packed we would like to believe them! We shall have to arrange for the remaining items to be delivered by friends at a later date.

I have moved house a number of times (22) and have frequently used different removal companies. They did worked hard, but it did feel as though we had to work to keep their spirits up as they grew more tired!

The team of removers were friendly and approachable, but certainly by day 3 it seemed as though they were exhausted, groans and 'not another box' was frequently heard! We made their job as easy as possible by making one room and the garage a 'dumping ground' for as much as possible and we shall move the items to where we need them as we unpack."

It was a two-day move as we were moving to London. Collection on Friday, delivery on Saturday. Not straight forward as in a block with a lift but everything safely moved including a piano.

Last minute move from Wansford to Ryhall

"Had a quote from Jayne when we �sold subject to contract� back in January. She was polite and informative. Our sale seemed to take ages to go through and it wasn�t until the third week in May that we had a possible move date of 27th May in our diary. We then called Jayne to see if they could accommodate us at such short notice. Thankfully they had a cancellation that day and she came round to assess our contents. Again most pleasant and reassuring. Our exchange did not happen until late afternoon on bank holiday Friday 23rd May�very stressful. We paid at that time without any hassle from Cliffes.

The removal men Duane ,Tony and Ethan arrived on time at 8.30 on Tuesday 27th with 2 vans and had the whole contents of our 4 bedroom house safely loaded by 11am. We then had a 3 hour wait for our keys to be released at almost 3pm! They had to wait around but never once complained . They offloaded our contents ,in the rain ,efficiently and carefully before politely leaving around 5pm. We would recommend."

4 bed town house in a tight street to a new 4 bed home C20 years of belongs safely sorted, loaded and unloaded

"Cliffes moved us into our new home
Not a huge move in terms of distance, but the amount of belongings we�d amassed meant there was plenty of belongings attached to our move

One 4 bed to another

We lived in a street with tricky parking, the team were great

They made a stressful day that bit easier

Friendly, efficient, (very) hard working and humorous

Laughter is a great medicine and it was great to have them around

Load in/load out was done to our instructions and nothing was too
Much trouble, even the heavy and difficult bits

Yes, I know they�re movers and that�s what they do, but they got on with it, advised and counselled

We cannot recommend them team we had highly enough

Even Maureen in the office was a joy to deal with
