"We moved 130 miles, packing up a large 4 bedroomed house, with several external spaces, outdoor furniture and potted plants and a mini grand piano! The removal company were excellent from start to finish. Clear and helpful advice, prompt communication and the complicated move itself over 3 days was managed to perfection.

Move of a 4 bedroom 3 story house, garden furniture and single garage to 4 bedroom 2 story house and single garage.

"Requested a quote from Maureen. Super easy and explained the process. Conducted a whatsapp video call to guage size of contents with Jayne who was very efficient and accurate! The quote was produced quickly and competitive with other local removal firms so accepted and the date was scheduled.

On the move day we had Jason, Tony and Ethan in 2 lorries. They worked extremely hard and made the process look effortless. We opted for the dismantle service for beds and tables and I was amazed how efficient it was. I didn't even notice the re-assembly at the other end but everything was put together perfectly. Well worth the additional service.

The guys are really polite and cover floors/stairs and were careful with the packing - they could be grandmasters at tetris.

This is our second move with Cliffes and I would not hesitate to use them again. They really are good at what they do."

We originally hoped to be moving in June 2025, but for various reasons this didn''t happen until January 2026. Throughout this time Cliffe''s were patient and understanding of our situation. There was only 5 days between exchange and completion, yet Cliffe''s were very flexible in their efforts to accommodate our move.

"The company was recommended to us following a friend's move. Their helpfulness and friendliness throughout made them stand out from other companies we approached. Plus, their attention to detail when they surveyed what was to be moved was exceptional (Duane Furnell).
And their quote was extremely competitive.

On the admin side communication by phone, E.mail and letter was always prompt and self explanatory (Maureen and Jane). They were both always pleasant and helpful which helped to lessen the burdens of the move. The day before the move we were advised who would be moving us and when they would arrive.

On the day of the move they arrived punctally and all came in to introduce themselves. The weather on the day was horrendous with torrential rain throughout. They took every precaution to keep our belongings safe and dry whilst also ensuring as little as possible of the rain come into the bungalow. They were all friendly and chatty despite the inclement weather.

They worked hard to clear the furniture and belongings inside first before starting on the many garden plants, furniture and other outside items, all of this in the pouring rain.

Although they were seriously delayed by the very late release of keys to the new property, they ensured that we were safely installed and furniture put back together before they left us.

Throughout the day they all remained positive, friendly and professional. We can specifically remember the names of Duane and Max but all four of them were exemplary in their professional approach to the job.

We would whole heartedly recommend Cliffe's Removals and cannot fault the Company's professionalism throughout."

We had a total packing, removal, storage and delivery service for a very large 4 bedroom detached house. This included gym equipment with a very heavy treadmill, and a very large kitchen which took nearly a day to pack.

"Cliffes were recommended to us by my brother who has used them on several occasions. Our initial meeting with Jayne was very professional and informative. She outlined the whole process very clearly. At the time we were unsure of dates but Jayne and the team were very accommodating and flexible. We were very concerned about the logistics for packing as we were going into storage but she reassured us that everything was easily workable. The packing and removals was done over 2 days at short notice. The team arrived on time were very professional, hardworking and respectful of our property and belongings and it was all completed in a timely manner. Everything was in storage for approximately 3 months. The delivery was scheduled over a 2 day period with the first load containing everything necessary to allow us to move in on that day. Everything was well packed and boxes clearly labelled. All necessary items were placed in the relevant locations and assembly was done for items such as beds and wardrobes. Non essential household items were placed in a spare room. The delivery team included a couple of people who were involved in the packing process which gave continuity. Afterwards there were a couple of minor issues and after speaking to Jayne she had this rectified immediately without any hesitation."

Complete removal of possessions from 3 bedroomed house to small 2 bedroomed bungalow. There were several heavy garden items including 2 stone troughs. Staff were not phased by the high number of pictures and paintings.

"Great service!
I was very impressed with the two men who packed most of my home the day before moving. Very thorough and careful. They asked questions about items when unsure. I didn’t have to do anything other than supply cups of tea and coffee.
Moving day - it rained heavily all day! Despite the terrible weather the staff were professional and in good humour. The lorry was brought as close as possible to the front door in order to keep items and people dry. They packed in good time. At the new property extra staff came to help with unloading. It was still raining heavily but it didn’t deter their efficiency. Staff did their best to put everything where I asked.
All in all an excellent service."

We downsized from a fairly large family home to a smaller property locally. The removal guys were very professional and took great care of our contents. Every item was very carefully wrapped - they came to pack up the goods the day before and we had a week to unwrap everything meaning we had the time to put each box''s contents away. There was no damage at all. Very impressed and would definitely recommend them.

"From the first time we met the representative from Cliffe's to the actual moving day we had confidence in them. We had cause to contact them a few times before the move and they never made us feel a nuisance, even when we had to change our plans (twice) to take or leave a large piece of furniture. Downsizing isn't easy! They were happy to answer our questions and fully explained what we could expect from them. They made what is always a stressful experience as easy as it could be. We're really pleased we chose to go with them - this may sound like a 'planted post' but it's a genuine review from a genuine happy customer."

"Cliffe’s Removals were great from start to finish. Was quoted quickly and fairly. Before removals a courtesy call was given to go through procedure on the day. On the day a call was given to confirm ETA. The removals men were prompt, polite, friendly and moved my stuff with care and ease. "Right from the very start Cliffe's were fantastic. Their estimator came to my home and went through step by step the service they provide. Then walked room by room recording what would be required to be moved. The quotation was received the next day along with the contract. I booked a date and paid the deposit and confirmed when the final payment was to be made. Communication was clear, professional and prompt.

The day before moving Cliffe's called to confirm the move was still taking place.

The team of three men turned up 8am on moving day and got to work. They were absolutely brilliant. True professionals. There was a long wait to get the keys at the other property, but the team took everything in their stride.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cliffe's Removals. They were head and shoulders above another company I asked to quote."

My move from A to B approx 4 miles went very smoothly thanks to the efficiency and professional removal team. From start to finish it was a stress free experience thanks to them.

"I had part packing which was excellent and worth every penny.
My furniture went into storage for 4 months and was delivered to my new address with the same care as when it was taken.
A big thank you to Dwayne,Ethan and team for all their hard work, they were so pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
Also a massive thank you to Jane, who came to my rescue when I was let down at the last minute by another company.
Thank you also to Maureen who was always friendly and ready to help.
I would highly recommend Cliffes Removals to anyone( and already have).
I personally would say you won’t find better.
