Full packing and removal

"The service started very well, with 5 guys on the first day packing and loading which was the day before we moved into the new house.

On the removal day there were 3 guys who were fine and they emptied 2 lorries into the new property. On the following day there was then 2 further lorries but only 2 men came to unload what was some significantly large and heavy pieces of furniture.

If I and my wife had not been able to help I dont believe the removal guys would have been able to get the furniture into the house and in the right rooms. Also one of the two guys had back issues and therefore struggled with the heavy items.

The guys did take care and we had no damage to goods or the property which was excellent."

Booked a full packing service which also included breaking down wardrobes, beds and even a 3M trampoline.

"The process took two days, the first day involving packing up rooms into many boxes, emptying garages, sheds and Trampoline.

The last day was loading boxes and breaking down the furniture, loading the lorries and driving off to the new house once keys collected.

Everything then unloaded and boxes / furniture placed in our selected rooms and beds and wardrobes rebuilt.

The team and foreman were extremely friendly and very patient. Nothing was a problem and relocated furniture once in place if we felt it wasn't right.

Excellent service, stress free and would highly recommend Cliff's Removals."

Moved out of a coachhouse flat, with difficult access and on a very hot day, in one day. Moved into a 3-storey house (with better access and cooler but still warm weather) the following day.

"Both the office and general manager were extremely responsive helpful and informative. The visit from the general manager was very professional and effective, and she was precise in her communications and very accurately determined and conveyed the task for quotation. The cost did seem slightly on the high side, however, the diligence and care the team took with all my items was beyond my expectations.

On day one the two men worked flat out in extremely warm/hot conditions, and with difficult removals (I live up a narrow staircase, and the vans had to parked 50mtrs away) without complaint. I made sure they were kept up with drinks and snacks and they were extremely courteous about it; no expectations whatsoever.

On day two they arrived promptly and set about uploading into the 3-storey house. Again, everything was handled with extreme care.
The team arrived exactly on time and throughout were highly trustworthy and friendly.

If there is any criticism it is only that a few boxes weren't labelled as I had asked, and were left in a position for me to move as a consequence. However, they were few and I could have made more certain they were clear on the rooms the boxes were headed to.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the firm to friends and family. They should be proud of the professional and excellent service they provide."

We moved from our family home of 26 years to a bungalow which was up a slope. Jane from Cliffes did our valuation and looked at our new address to assess suitability for large lorry access. Because of a narrow road access via large lorry was not possible, so Cliffes packed our belongings into a number of pallets, stored some of them overninght and delivered them in the pallets to the new address in Luton vans.

"I thought initially the price quoted was high, but given the amount of work involved,the fact that at one time there were 5 removal guys helping out and the idea to palletise our contents to make delivery easier at the new address, I though we actually got good value for money"

"Jayne was very thorough and professional with the quotation and they always advised on best packing methods.

The loading team arrived on time and Duane and Ethan worked very efficiently, cheerfully and Duane packed the van �beautifully� and �strong� Ethan just carried effortlessly!

Despite a wait for keys they never complained and made a busy day successful. Very pleased.

The move went okay and the two men were very helpful with the packing and the actual move. Unfortunately we didn''t get the key till 4.30pm and it was a very hot day, both of my daughters helped them unload as best they could.

We had a three and a half day move that involved Cliffe�s packing for us. We were moving from a five bedroom house to a two/three bedroom bungalow. Also the access to the bungalow was quite restricted. All this was achieved seamlessly.

MOVE FROM 5TH FLOOR APARTMENT TO BUNGALOW ON THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR!

"Great service from start to finish. Video call to go through items to be moved. Quote for move sent promptly - detailing what was covered, insurances etc. Booking process easy with a phone call. Very amenable - had to change the date of the move and also needed to add a couple of significant items which incurred no extra cost. Plenty of packing materials supplied - included two different sized boxes, packing tape, paper, bubble wrap, marker pen and self seal bags to keep smaller items separate.

Two removal men turned up on the hottest day of the year! They just got on with it with no complaints.
Loading took a few hours due to it being from a 5th floor apartment - the men took great care of all the boxes which had been packed. Protected the TV and had special covers for the armchairs and sofa.

Unloading was much quicker! Although extremely hot and not being able to go on the newly laid tarmac drive the men got all the boxes in the right rooms.
Couldn't recommend highly enough!"
