Our move was from a bungalow in Bourne to a bungalow in Stamford.

"We received excellent service right from our first conversation with Jayne. Our change of removal date was not a problem and we had good communication throughout the process.

The extra van on the day before removal was much appreciated making it easier for all parties. The next day Jason and his team worked pretty much non stop as we had many boxes to carry in and out of the van. The team arrived on time at 08.00 and had the van loaded by lunchtime.

There was a slight delay obtaining the key to the new bungalow but once in the team completed the move by 18.50. Jason was called away to help another team around 17.00 and my wife and I helped with the ‘carrying’ otherwise it would have taken much longer. I appreciate that emergencies occur but this left extra pressure on the two guys at the end of a long day.

We were very happy with the move and would recommend Cliffe’s to anyone needing a removal company."

Move over three days into a property with no access for large vehicles. The movers team had to transport furniture/boxes on foot from the front gate to the house.

"We had to organise our move over three days due to the difficulty of accessing our new house with large vehicles.

The move was very well organised and the team were very professional, calm and helpful through the whole process. Every member of the team knew what their task was and worked as a team.

We had to alter plans from a normal move out/move in, to a move out - storage - move in! Cliffe''s promptly responded to the request and duly delivered as they promised.

"From the initial telephone conversation with Jane/Maureen through to the installation/set up of the final item in the house, we were thoroughly impressed with Cliffe's and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Jane/Maureen explained everything during the video call to quote and along the way as we neared the removal date(s).

They arrived promptly on both removal days and worked hard to get the items loaded/unloaded with minimal fuss.

Full packing and removal

"The service started very well, with 5 guys on the first day packing and loading which was the day before we moved into the new house.

On the removal day there were 3 guys who were fine and they emptied 2 lorries into the new property. On the following day there was then 2 further lorries but only 2 men came to unload what was some significantly large and heavy pieces of furniture.

If I and my wife had not been able to help I dont believe the removal guys would have been able to get the furniture into the house and in the right rooms. Also one of the two guys had back issues and therefore struggled with the heavy items.

The guys did take care and we had no damage to goods or the property which was excellent."

Booked a full packing service which also included breaking down wardrobes, beds and even a 3M trampoline.

"The process took two days, the first day involving packing up rooms into many boxes, emptying garages, sheds and Trampoline.

The last day was loading boxes and breaking down the furniture, loading the lorries and driving off to the new house once keys collected.

Everything then unloaded and boxes / furniture placed in our selected rooms and beds and wardrobes rebuilt.

The team and foreman were extremely friendly and very patient. Nothing was a problem and relocated furniture once in place if we felt it wasn't right.

Excellent service, stress free and would highly recommend Cliff's Removals."

Moved a distance away. Move took 2 days.

"Removers were great- punctual, polite and helpful. Worked very hard to clear the house by early afternoon.

Team who delivered next day were just as good. Our property was treated with respect and was packed with care. We have so far not found any breakages or damage.

The team made the whole process as stress-free as possible. Would highly recommend."

Moved out of a coachhouse flat, with difficult access and on a very hot day, in one day. Moved into a 3-storey house (with better access and cooler but still warm weather) the following day.

"Both the office and general manager were extremely responsive helpful and informative. The visit from the general manager was very professional and effective, and she was precise in her communications and very accurately determined and conveyed the task for quotation. The cost did seem slightly on the high side, however, the diligence and care the team took with all my items was beyond my expectations.

On day one the two men worked flat out in extremely warm/hot conditions, and with difficult removals (I live up a narrow staircase, and the vans had to parked 50mtrs away) without complaint. I made sure they were kept up with drinks and snacks and they were extremely courteous about it; no expectations whatsoever.

On day two they arrived promptly and set about uploading into the 3-storey house. Again, everything was handled with extreme care.
The team arrived exactly on time and throughout were highly trustworthy and friendly.

If there is any criticism it is only that a few boxes weren't labelled as I had asked, and were left in a position for me to move as a consequence. However, they were few and I could have made more certain they were clear on the rooms the boxes were headed to.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the firm to friends and family. They should be proud of the professional and excellent service they provide."

We moved from our family home of 26 years to a bungalow which was up a slope. Jane from Cliffes did our valuation and looked at our new address to assess suitability for large lorry access. Because of a narrow road access via large lorry was not possible, so Cliffes packed our belongings into a number of pallets, stored some of them overninght and delivered them in the pallets to the new address in Luton vans.

"I thought initially the price quoted was high, but given the amount of work involved,the fact that at one time there were 5 removal guys helping out and the idea to palletise our contents to make delivery easier at the new address, I though we actually got good value for money"
