House move

"We were really pleased with the service provided by Easymove from start to finish. Before choosing them we obtained 4 other quotes and found their prices to be extremely competitive. They we able to quickly come in person to give us a quote. The office staff responded promptly to emails and queries. Colin arrived on the dot of 8.30 to pack up our 3 bed terrace house and and finished it all by 3pm. The next day the removal team arrived on the dot of 8.30 again. They were friendly, helpful and good humoured. Moving day for us was very hot but they just got on with the job. A forth man was sent over to help unpack the other end. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and would definitely use them again myself."

3 bed house, garage and garden contents, moved across town (c. 3 miles), with full packing service.

"Easy to get hold of and book in an appointment for a quote. They asked plenty of questions to understand what they were quoting for and the type of service I wanted (I had full packing as it's worth every penny for reducing stress!). They explained how the move would work over 4 days - starting packing 2 days before move date, taking some stuff the day before, finishing moving on move date and returning the day after moving with the final items.

When I got the quote back and it looked like outside plants in containers were excluded, I checked back and they confirmed that yes, they were included in the quote, so all was well.

They were very understanding about timings and deadlines for telling them if the move date had to change - I had a lot of last minute hassle with exchange and therefore completion dates and I was worried I'd end up being charged a fee through no fault of my own, but they agreed the appropriate notice period with me up front.

The team who did the move were friendly and helpful and took great care of my things - the only breakages were caused by me when I put some crockery onto a dodgy cupboard shelf at the other end! They even lined up all the garden pots along the patio edge.

The staff at the office were always helpful, whether I was ringing or e-mailing or visiting in person. As I don't have a printer, they printed out a copy of the contract for me so I could go sign it in their offices. They also arranged for the team to come out and collect the empty boxes and paper packaging, once I'd finished unpacking, so that they could be reused and not just sent to recycling.

I've now used Easymove twice and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone as a friendly, reliable local removal firm."

The move was in two parts as I was buying a first house with my partner. The team removed all the belongings in the first instance from my house then stored them safely for a week until we moved into our new home in Worcester.

"The whole process from start to finish was both friendly and professional and took away some of the stress from what is quite a stressful situation. I'd be happy to recommend to anyone wanting a quailty, value for money house move with no fuss."

We moved from a large mid terraced house on a quite narrow lane to a smaller bungalow in the same village

"I was having some difficulty in agreeing a completion date with our solicitor and our buyer whose priorities kept changing. Easymove were the only removal firm I contacted that were prepared to make visible their availability and to provisionally hold a date at short notice without entering into a contract in advance, in the circumstances this was very helpful in resolving those difficulties.
On the day, despite my failure to prevent cars being parked outside the house so making the two removal men, Dave and Dave, carry everything further, they remained polite and friendly throughout, nothing seemed to phase them.
They remained polite, friendly and thankfully very cooperative despite later having to park outside the bungalow for several hours while a problem with the finance transfers delayed the release of the keys. The solicitor acting for the bungalow eventually advised completion could not proceed if funds had not reached them by the time they ceased business at 5:30. Thankfully, with some discussion and good advice from Alison back at Easymove and with the cooperation of the two Daves the deadline for starting to remove everything from the lorry was extended to 5:30. The solicitor released the keys at 5:28 and the two Daves unloaded everything as cheerfully as they had been all day. Everything was put where we wanted it and nothing was damaged. I could not have asked for a better service.

We moved from a 3-bedroom house in Bristol to a similar property in Halifax, West Yorkshire, which has to be done over 3 days because of the distance. We wanted to take various planters with some large plants from our garden.

"We had a quote from Easymove in August 2021. Due to delays in our house sale we didn't move until June 2022. Easymove honoured the original quote and were also happy for us to change our minds on some of the items we were taking and leaving. We didn't get much notice of our completion date but Easymove put together a plan for the move so that we could exchange on time. The team that loaded our stuff were great; well turned out, polite and pleasant and they worked hard in the hot weather. Our stuff had to go into storage for a week and we were concerned about the plants but were reassured that they would be kept securely outdoors.
A week later our property was delivered to our new home and again the team were great. They worked very hard and everything was unloaded in good time with minimal inconvenience to the neighbours.
Communication with Easymove was excellent and we were kept informed about what was happening and when.
We think Easymove was a great choice and we would happily recommend them.

A local move from a large house to a smaller one. Everything had to go into storage because there was a five weeks gap between the completion of our sale and our purchase.

"The whole team provided an excellent service from start to finish.

The quote was competitive. This was given following a personal visit as opposed to a quote from others following a video call.

We liked the fact that the company is a member of The British Association of Removers. As everything had to go into storage for five weeks the storage facilities offered were important.

The moves from both our old house to our new house went smoothly. This was due to the professionalism and efficiency of the whole team. Communication with the office and with the guys moving us was very good. They were hardworking, friendly and good humoured.

We also very much appreciated that the team were able to reorganise their schedule to enable the move to our new home to take place at a time when there was a big demand for their services. There was a probability that this move would have to take place in two parts, but they were so efficient they completed that move to our new home in one day.

We would certainly recommend Easymove Removals and Storage Bristol.

My move was quite complicated, because furniture and effects were going to two different places - one across Bristol and another to Devon. It included an old and very heavy piano, and a large collection of herbal medicine tinctures.

"I used EasyMove ten years ago, when I moved from London to Bristol. I was very happy with them then, so it made sense to use them again. Sue in the office always handled queries promptly and was efficient and friendly. Colin came round to give a price, explained everything clearly and was very polite and respectful. Boxes and tape were brought in advance for me to pack the non-fragile items, then 2 days before the move, Wild came and packed up the fragile stuff. It was only when I unpacked it that I realised just how carefully and expertly he had done it.

On the day he came with two other colleagues, Mickey and Mike. They were all fantastic, took great care with my furniture and moved heavy, awkward items with ease. Their great sense of humour really helped reduce the stress I was feeling, and they clearly worked very well together. When the lorry was fully loaded it was a work of art!
All the furniture was put exactly where I wanted it, and it was done so quickly. Thank you to all of you!"

Everything went very smoothly, everyone at Easymove was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

"As time was getting a bit tight later in the day, Easymove brought extra people to help which was much appreciated.
Also the staff in the office at Easymove were also extremely helpful and talked us through the moving process and also removed any concerns and were very reassuring.
Moving house is a stressful time but our decision to use Easymove proved a sensible one, as well as the fact that their charges compared very favourably to other removal companies.

The moving experience was made all the better by the guys. Mike, Ben and later Micky. We moved from Knowle to Uphill on a Friday. (worse day to move apparently)

"I started looking for a firm of removers once I had a definite date for my move. With hindsight I should have started looking earlier. I had a recommendation and ask them for a quote but after chasing them 3 times over 5 days it became to worrying and so started looking around.
I rang a number of companies the only one to answer was Easymove. Although they had IT issues at the time of my call, they took my name and phone number to call me back. Which they did. The lady taking my details was friendly voice and definitely wanted to help. Allison arranged for Colin to pop out to give me a price for moving. He was patient and kind.
I later received two calls back from other removers but I’d decided on Easymove because of their approach.
I had some boxes put into store and Dave came to move them. So very helpful. Thank you Dave.
Later I went into the office to pay for my storage and again I only had a positive experience.
I cannot say a big enough thank you to everyone. You made an extremely stressful time so much more positive than I could have hoped for. If you’re looking for a firm who is efficient, professional, while keeping a good sense of humour, ring Easymove. I’m so pleased I did."

Short move in Bristol from a 2 bed terrace house to a 3 bed semi-detatched house. Our old house was heavily furnished and contained a lot of items. We payed for the full-packing service, including moving washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, and dismantling and re-assembling a bed.

"We moved a short distance in Bristol. We booked Easymove to pack up our house which they did the day before, then returned the next day to finish up. The movers were friendly and efficient. The move itself was seamless, the vans unpacked very quickly and all items placed in the rooms requested, and even taken up the back garden to the garage. I was expecting moving house to be a stressful experience but Easymove helped make it easy. I can't recommend them enough."

A full day of work for 2 men. Bring items from self-storage unit in Bristol to second-floor apartment in another city. Pack up assorted goods within the apartment, move furniture and goods inside the apartment, move boxes of goods into basement & garage, take goods and furniture back to self-storage unit in Bristol.

"Following multiple contacts with this company over 15+ years and after using their services for full and partial house-moves along the M4 corridor, I can heartily recommend it for both self-storage and house removal. My goods have always been packed up smoothly and shipped securely, with no breakage or damage following transit. The rates charged are fair and competitive for the quality of service provided (cheaper removal firms are available, but you'll pay in other ways...) Staff (office & non-office based) have always been patient, polite, helpful and professional. Business premises and vehicles are kept in very good condition and spotlessly clean."
