Very Good service both at packing up the house in Bristol, storage for 9 weeks and delivery to our new address some 200 miles NE from Bristol.

"Excellent experience from the initial call for a quote, the arrival of the surveyor to quote, the actual estimate was easy to follow and understand.
The arrival of the van and the people that packed the things up, (something we would recommend people pay to have done), to the actual day of the move, storage for 9 weeks in their warehouse and the final delivery to our new house in the N E of the UK.
The whole operation was smooth and efficient.

One negative point, possibly my mistake or that of the company, is that I had some slight damage to a top of the chest of draws. This, I reported outside the very small window of time, after taking delivery of the furniture.
In my opinion, this "window" as set by the insurers, is not fair nor practical, as it takes at least a week to unpack all the boxes and furniture which is probably not in the right place. Technically the removers should not leave the customer until every box and piece of furniture is unpacked and inspected. Totally in practical from the Removers point of view. Thus there ought to be some tolerance on time by the insurance company. (Not going to happen is it!! )

Because we are moving to a new build which is not yet ready, we have had to move our furniture into storage. When we are ready to move into our new house, Fox will then reverse the process. Because of the volume of furniture the move into storage took place over three days. As we were not constrained by time we could choose the dates, subject of course to Fox’s availability.

"We were happy with the move. Fox proved suitably flexible in the arrangements. The price was reasonable and the storage charges acceptable.

Staff were courteous and friendly."

Move from north of Bristol to Cornwall

"Right from initial enquiry Fox were friendly, helpful and informative. Initial survey visit for quote was painless but detailed and all necessary information given, including advice where needed.
Move itself was in 2 stages, an initial pack and load and a delivery a few days later. The packing was done very carefully and boxes labelled clearly Help was given by the removal team with a few items that needed moving about or a heavy lift. The team worked really hard to get the pack and load done in less time than scheduled initially which was really useful.
Delivery arrived on schedule and the unloading was done relatively quickly despite me changing my mind where I wanted things a few times. Again team were really helpful, but got on with the job. No damages.
Only real issue was some confusion over booking the date, I thought I'd pencilled in some dates but when calling back a week later was told original date was not available, although they were flexible in trying to accommodate an alternative as close as possible.
All in all, very pleased with the service and would use again.

Not a lot if furniture but a lot of stuff. But a piano and a very large challenging sofa.

"The men were friendly and knew what they were doing. I had three chaps helping, young, middle aged and older. The older guy was more experienced, ressuring and calm. The middle guy was cheerful and helpful.
The younger guy didnt seam to like being told what to do. They worked hard but were very keen to finish the job as quickly as possible. They were great with the piano which was challenging and tricky as it had to go up.on its side to get out the property. However my furniture is antique ( some of it 250 years old) and I would have like a little more care given. ( not carrying two huge drawers full of stuff in one go) but no damage was done but I feel I was lucky there. On the whole it went well - if a little rushed at the end."

"The move was not as I was hoping it would be. On the day of departure the removers were three hours late. This caused me to miss rail connections to my destination. Also several items were missing, the main one being my Will, taken from a bedroom unit where it had been safely kept for many years. Among other missing items was my mobile 'phone lead. The move was from a first floor flat to a semi detached house. There was also a flight of steps outside the flat so it was not an easy move. Also the passage inside the flat was narrow.

"We were kept well informed from the first visit and the whole move went well. The two gentleman who moved our possessions were courteous and careful and worked really hard. it was an extremely hot day, so not easy for them!"

Straight forward removal of furniture and possessions into storage pending purchase of new house. All possessions packed up by ourselves beforehand so packing service not used. Nothing particularly interesting/special about the removal.

"An excellent and professional service all round, from the initial video survey (due to COVID restrictions) through to actually moving everything out into storage.
The whole team were excellent, especially the 3 movers who where punctual, very friendly and extremely efficient.

We moved from a terrace house not far from the Bristol office, to a large detatched house in Pembrey, Mid Wales. Not only did we have to move home, but my husbands office, and as we are keen archers (and i''m a coach) so we had lots of ''extras'' including filing cabinets, and numerous bows and arrow making parts/equipement, etc. It was exhausting, but not stressful Sorry cant remember the cost - something like £2,500?

"Pre move, Colin was really helpful as we were originally going to be a 2 day and 2 van move. The office answered all my questions, let me have boxes, packing when required.

I understand the driver drove pass our house pre-move to make sure he could turn a large van into our narrow street - he could, which helped immensely as it mean we are able to fit everything in one large van.
The team turned up as expected. I had extended our departure time by hour which was not required, but in the end the team cleared the house with time to spare. Although they did say that it helped that we had packed everything sensibly and moved everything from the 3rd floor and garden prior to their arrival.

There was an issue trying to get a 3 seater sofa out of the house - lord know how it go in (!), and we ended up having to remove an arm to get it out. This was our decision and the guys would have continued if asked. Luckily we had planned to replace this - so not really issue for us.

They left Bristol as we had to clean-up so were waiting for us in Pembrey, we were all then held up waiting on the estate agents.

The team (now only 2 members) asked if they could worked late they would not have to come back the next day, which we agreed. Due to this the boxes were not always in the correct room, but all the furniture was and in the places we wanted.

We are probably 85% unpacked and the only breakage we have come across is a soup dish.

They had to block a neighbour who needed to get her car out for work, again they were polite to her and moved when required.

All through this the team were considerate, asked when/if they had any queries.

This was our first house move in 33 years, but were aware of the company as local. We had lived in America for 3 years and moved several times within the States and then moved all our furniture back to the UK. We would recommend the team."

"Overall we were very happy with the service, the packing was completed very quickly and it was very helpful to have the furniture built at the new property. It did make the move much less stressful for us with one less thing to worry about.
The moving co-ordinator was very helpful, he talked us through the whole process and the covid safety was explained clearly for keeping us and the removal men safe.
Very friendly and helpful company that I would use again.

Packing and move of household possessions in Bristol into store; storage for 1 week; removal of possessions from storage to new address in Forest of Dean.

"These guys are truly excellent. My wife and I have moved house a lot of times (26 at the last count), with a variety of removals companies, and I rate Fox Bristol as the best we've used. The survey was quick and efficient and, most importantly, credible - the surveyor clearly had bags of experience. As for the move, we chose to have our kit packed and moved into storage prior to moving it on to our new house (decades of experience have taught us to do everything possible to make it easy for ourselves!). Fox had no problem accommodating this slightly odd requirement; whilst having this, understandably, cost us a little extra, the price was still reasonable and great value. The packers/movers were outstanding, doing everything they could to make life easy for us, despite the Covid restrictions. Overall, I was delighted with Fox Bristol's service - we don't plan to move again any time soon, but if we did, I'd go back to Fox."

"The quotation process, using my phone to walk through my property was genius. I therefore trusted the quote, and knew that the correct amount of personnel and vehicles would be used.

The packing team were quick and efficient, hard working and a pleasure to have around.

Very precious or fragile items I would recommend packing personally. I was not delighted with the packing of my small fine art porcelain collection. I re packed it.

The day of the move went very smoothly. A great team. Very efficient loading of the van.

I would recommend being at the unloading whether it is st storage facility or new house. I was not present for the unloading and thought that the way the items were stored in the storage space was random. Heavy things were placed on lighter boxes, and paintings an d points were on the floor.
