There is no lift. The guys had to carry everything up 3 flights of stairs.

It was a long move from Cumbria to Survey in bank holiday traffic. The van was very carefully loaded, set off at 10.15am and arrived to unload at 8 am next day as planned it was very considerately unloaded, with carpet and large furniture placed as requested to give us a good start, and boxes placed in rooms as labelled.

"Jeffrey and Michael were pleasant, cheerful and helpful throughout the move and provided an excellent service. They were very careful with our furniture and boxes and made the move as easy as possible for us. From start to finish all Binning's staff were excellent - the office and survey staff and the removers. They did our previous move 43 years ago and we wouldn't think of using anyone else. "

"In 35 years we have moved 11 times due to our work. This move has been the most professionally carried out. We have used other companies and their standards and conduct were not very good. Binnings were exemplary in the conduct, attire and were very professional in how they carried out the move. Other companies based in South were �1000 more. "

Standard move with the pickup from house having access problems, so a 2nd vehicle was used overnight storage with delivery next day.

"The guys were very polite, working hard. On delivery there was a small delay(due to solicitors being slow!) which they were very accepting. All in all first class service at a very stress full time would recommend to anyone."

Two moves with a large number of items retained in storage.

"We had hoped to be leaving a positive review and would have done so if the mistakes made had been dealt with more effectively. One of our storage containers was tipped over and dropped when Binnings/Nelsons were preparing to deliver to us, damaging most of our goods stored inside. The insurance obtained through Nelsons proved to be ineffective and after some months we finally received a payout worth significantly less than our broken goods. We were told the container falling off the forklift truck was simply unlucky. The company has even charged us the full period of rental on the container even though they were not able to return our goods to us. Had the team resolved our concerns we would have been happier to recommend them. We do understand accidents happen, but unfortunately we have been left significantly our of pocket through no fault of our own, and lost some extremely precious goods that are irreplaceable."

Straight forward move - loading day before move and unloading once keys handed over around noon - 2 hour drive between address.
