We moved from a 3 bed tucked away down a little lane to a bigger house just over half a mile away.

"Paul, Matt and Richard were fantastic moving us to our new home.

We had a tricky time on arrival at our new property with the previous owner not having left and they quickly adapted to the situation and cracked on to still ensure we were unloaded and moved in at a reasonable hour.

Long haul move from Somerset to York. Full packing service used, including our pool table, which was dismantled and reassembled when in York.

"Moving house is a very stressful period, yet Yeates took all the stress out of the actual move. From quotation, to date planning, to packing and delivery, we cannot speak highly enough of the professional and friendly service.
The week we moved was extremely hot yet the team worked through without complaint, and completed the delivery on time.

We moved to s village 10 miles away. There was a 4 hour wait before getting keys

"The team were courteous, polite and very helpful. They were careful of our furniture and the paintwork in both properties and particularly the fragile boxes.

They covered the floors with protective coverings and generally made the day stress free. Absolutely nothing was damaged in any way.

I would recommend them to anyone looking to book a removal company."

"From start to finish we cannot fault Yeates. We were looking for a removal service at short notice due to others being booked up. Adam gave us a comprehensive quote after a home visit and communication with the office was easy. Yeates managed to fit us in with only 2 working days notice.

The 3 removal men on the day were polite, friendly and got the job done efficiently, carefully and quickly. Even with a 4 hour long wait for keys after leaving our property the men didn�t complain at all. When finally getting the keys they spoke with us about what the best way of unloading was for us and did this quickly and well.

They accommodated our 2 children brilliantly when they asked if they could help. I would easily recommend yeates to anyone looking for removals."

Moving between 3 bed houses in the same town. Some items for storage and a large amount of boxes as well as the standard white goods and furniture.

"The whole experience was made as pain-free as it could be by Yeates. The 4 man team were punctual, polite and very efficient. The whole move was done in 4 hours when I expected it to take a lot longer. I only needed to explain to them once what was going where and what was going in storage and they did everything as asked. Great service!
The self-storage process was also very straightforward and explained to me clearly."

Move from 4 bed semi-detached house - including prior day packing - into a top floor 3 bed flat with some challenging corners and stairs.

"From quotation through to the final box returning to Yeates' yard the service was excellent.

The team packing us the day before the move were professional and filled us with a real confidence we were in safe hands (previous moves with other companies had always resulted in at least one breakage) and this carried on throughout the move itself which had some real challenges in terms of size of items (two just wouldn't fit into the new property) and negotiating difficult stairs.

Yeates's were excellent, offering us short-term storage whilst we disposed of the two large items ang not rushing us into decisions. Throughout the process their communication and management of situation was excellent and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality mover."

The move out of the property went well and smoothly. Very organised. Especially when they were taking some items to a different property. The move into the new property was not too bad, but had to dismantle a few wardrobes to get upstairs.

"When booking Wendy was very patient and put me at my ease straightaway. Booking was straightforward and simple. I had boxes delivered that day, so I could pack. The removers arrived promptly on the morning. I showed them around the house to direct them of what was staying and what was going. Very swift and organised in loading up. Communication was good to let me know what they were doing. Got to the new house and it started raining, but that didn�t phase them. They put covers down on the floors and bannisters to stop any damage. I directed them to each room to where to put things. We had to dismantle a few wardrobes to get them up the stairs which was quite stressful. They were very patient and even gave us a drill to borrow. The move was fairly quick. The only little thing I could say is that the blankets used to cover wooden furniture left fluffy bits on the back and also on the carpets. Overall experience was great and less stressful than I thought. So many thanks to you all.

We have a massive collection of studio pottery, vintage glass and other fragile items. Our move was from a village in North Somerset to the south coast, a distance of approximately 60 miles.

"Following a recommendation from a friend, I approached Yeates for a quote. Within a couple of days a member of the family who own Yeates, visited us and carried out a thorough assessment of our needs and provided us with information on the business and the whole process of arranging the move. Once a date for exchange was agreed, the office staff were very helpful in providing us with possible dates, and once we did exchange the date was agreed. We opted for packing ourselves and soon after the moving date was agreed we received boxes, packing paper and tape.
On the day itself the two lorries arrived at 8:15am and the removal men quickly but carefully loaded them. We had also requested for our bed to be dismantled by them and our washing machine disconnected ready for them to reassemble the bed and connect the machine at our new address.
On arrival at our new home the unloading went smoothly with lots of communication to ensure everything was put where we wanted it.
Overall a very smooth process and nothing was damaged which was remarkable as we have a massive collection of studio pottery, vintage glass and other fragile items.
We wouldn�t hesitate to use Yeates again or recommend them to anyone moving home."

We moved from Backwell to Liverpool, downsizing to a flat from a larger house. This meant some items being put into store in Liverpool, which required careful sorting and packing to ensure everything ended up in the right place.

"All went smoothly and with great patience and efficiency. We were amazed at how speedily everything was packed and loaded onto the van by the team of 4 in Backwell. The unloading into the flat was completed on the same day as the drive up. The stored goods were unloaded the following morning.
They even managed on the day after their return to remember where they had safely placed the filing cabinet keys - I was very grateful."
