"The team: SOL, RICHARD, DEAN & PAUL - *there are a couple of names missing from Thursday's team as I forgot to ask*
Impeccable manners, communication, care, funny and above all, very professional.
It is so refreshing to have a team that truly cares, nothing was too much trouble and they could not do enough to help us.
We had a good giggle too which really helped on such a stressful day.
For such young lads their manners were just amazing!
If I got in the way (which I tried not to) They just told me to take my time and were happy to wait.
They handled my property with respect and care and asked exactly what I wanted and which room etc.

"We had to move from a house with very narrow streets and it was difficult to get items out the property. The yeates team were able to work with us and really helped us move all our stuff on quite a stressful day. The move was from a very old cottage with steep stairs to a three bed third floor flat

"Yeates moved my elderly mother from a cottage to a three bed flat. The communication was excellent throughout. The cost included full packing the day before the actual move and included extra transport to a relatives property on the day of the move to drop off some items. The removers took apart beds and wardrobes and reassembled them later at the onward move. Everything went really smoothly and the whole team were incredibly efficient and professional throughout. Can highly recommend this company."

We simply wanted to de-clutter our house in preparation to sell it, and ask Yeates to come over and give us a quote. Easy is the request, but we live in a Georgian cobbled street, where parking is an issue and certainly access for lorries is a serious issue. Well done Yeates, they took on the job.

"Yeates are so brilliant. One of the family Directors, Adam Hack, came to give a quote for the de-cluttering move, and then advice for the big move once sold. The removal men (and they were all men; how come? I know very strong women), were the nicest you could ask for. Both collection and return crews (we have since had the items returned, to formally de-clutter). Both teams were courteous, friendly, nothing too much trouble. The teams worked really hard, and were careful, appreciating they are in someone�s home and it matters to be considerate. Once all our stuff was stored in their own storage facility, my relationship with the company switch to the account management team. Led by Wendie Tanner. I had to retrieve some stuff from the store, and they could not have been more helpful. Thanks to this great family run company, I no longer worry about the big move, when I will call upon them again. (Little note; the last removal guy was terrified about moving our whole home - we live in a 4 storey house, in a 200 year old street designed for horse and cart, not X ton lorries!)"

Down sized from a house to a first floor flat. Late exchange meant I could only book the removal company the day before completion.

"Professional and friendly. I had a quote within a day of my appointment. I discussed dates and they were happy to keep me updated of whether I could be accommodated up to the last minute. The movers were amazing, they made my move so easy. They were friendly and hard working. Everything was put where I wanted it, they moved the fridge freezer several times for me to decide where I wanted it as it didn't fit where I expected it to go. I can't praise them enough and would definitely recommend them in future."

"he workmen first removed the legs from the sofa and then took off the bulky cushions. They negotiated a restricted landing and standard staircase. They took the trouble to remove several pictures from the walls as a precaution - how sensible. All in all a quick and completely satisfactory removal - on all fronts.

Move from 3 bed semi to 2 bed bungalow.

"The 2 main guys, Ollie and Rich introduced themselves to us and then started the move. They were helpful, courteous and polite throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Of particular note was the care they took and also their knowledge, we had a particularly large settee and they knew straight away how to handle this. At the other end, they unpacked and placed everything carefully and checked if we wanted anything moving around. They did have other team of guys helping them and they were just as helpful and professional. All in all they turned a stressful day in to an enjoyable experience."

The move went well. They packed the day before. On moving day we were out by 12.00and started moving in at 2.00 and completed by 4.00.

"Being packed for made the whole experience less stressful. On moving in, this was done smoothly. The only difficulty was all box for the kitchen were put in the kitchen which meant it hard to unload as we couldn't open cupboards. I don't know if this could be done any other way as there wasn't much space."

"All very well planned. In second move, items had to be packed and stored over the weekend, followed by early start on the Monday.
Everything was very well planned and our belongings were well looked after. Both the office staff and the removal team were very friendly."

I was moved to a much smaller cottage with difficult access and a very difficult staircase.

"They could not have been more helpful or supportive. Polite and considerate and I was very impressed with the way they moved the furniture causing no damage to furniture or walls. Particularly impressed with the way they managed the stairs. The pre move visit was also expertly done, friendly and reassuring."

We were moving from a four-bedroom detached house to a three-bedroom semi only a short drive away in our home town.

"We had five removal men with two vans. They arrived on time and introduced themselves to us. All of them were extremely friendly and polite and respectful of both our old and our new property.

We had a lot of boxes and obviously furniture and white goods, plus large mirrors, pictures, televisions, computers etc, all of which we were concerned about. The removal men used special bags/covers for all these items which were handled with great care.

The removal of everything from the old house was completed by noon, the scheduled time we were given. I was amazed at the efficiency of getting all our stuff in the two vans!!

At the new house, the removal men followed our instructions as to where furniture/boxes should go and anything else was stacked carefully in one side of our living room.

When everything was out of the vans, the men checked if there was anything they could do to help and happily moved heavy garden statues from the front to the back garden. They made carrying the heaviest stuff look easy!!

Whilst moving was a stressful event for me, I found that the removal men were extremely efficient. Not only were they polite and helpful, but they were also good-humoured and laughing and joking with each other the whole time, which in turn made us feel more relaxed. A huge thanks to all of them.

I would strongly recomend Yeates Removals.
