It was a short move within a mile from my home to the new one. The weather was dry and the stacking onto the van was done quickly and efficiently.

"I needed removals at short notice and was glad GoodMove could provide staff and a van within the time frame by using a sister company to assist. The booking process was friendly and efficient and I was happy to be guided through the process. On the day it turned out that the red GoodMove van and staff were local after all due to a cancellation.

On moving day the van arrived promptly and after a few hours was joined by another smaller van and two extra staff to assist. I had self packed with second hand packing boxes and materials but staff had brought extra packing and wardrobe boxes on the day in case they were needed and were quick to load up.

Unloading at the new property went well although two boxes marked "garage" ended up in a bedroom and one was in the garage which was marked "lounge" . Large plant pots were moved with care and although I am still not completely unpacked, there have been no breakages.

I am very happy with the price and service provided and although not originally my first choice of removals, they were friendly, willing and efficient. I would certainly recommend them for moving bungalow to bungalow as I did.

I moved from Suffolk to south coast Hampshire a 4.5 hour drive

"From initial contact to loading and unloading everything went smoothly, efficiently and quickly.

There were 2 vans and 5 men who were always polite and good humoured. They loaded on one day and drove down the following day arriving at 9am and had unloaded by 11am. They checked with me where I wanted items placed, nothing was too much trouble.

I have used Good Move previously and would highly recommend for a trouble free stressless move."

We moved around 145 miles to our new address. As a result it was suggested to us by GoodMove that the move takes place over 3 days (everything packed up the days before completion, the essentials unloaded on the day of completion and the majority unloaded on day 3. This worked perfectly and we were grateful of the suggestion.

Removals were required or the removal of three large items of furniture to be removed and disposed.

"I needed removers for three items of furniture that were left in our apartment as we were letting the property and our new tenant did not want any of the furniture. I live oversees and it has been very difficult getting quotes from the local and national 'furniture disposal companies'.

I then remembered Goodmove as I was an estate agent in Essex and Suffolk for 10 years and I always recommended Goodmove to clients. As expected, from the moment I contacted Goodmove, they were absolutely fantastic throughout.

The whole process from my initial enquiry to completion of removals took three days. The company Administrator, Angela, was amazing handling my quote and invoice and guided me through the entire process and kept me up to date at every step- this was particularly appreciated given I was not in the Country to manage the move myself. This left me incredibly reassured.

On the move day itself, Simon and James were very professional and worked very well with our letting agent to get access into the property. The process was very well executed and most importantly, stress-free for me!

Removal from large family home to a small rental with around half of items going to a storage unit.

"The team who arrived on removals day were absolutely exceptional - they made what is unavoidably stressful so much better.

The team were really cheerful, pragmatic and incredibly efficient.

They seemed to be genuinely happy to be there, and were extremely skilled... we couldn't believe how fast they worked.

We will be moving again in a few months once we find our next purchase and won't hesitate in using Goodmove again... especially if we can have the same team!"

Packing & removals, including a motorbike. Dismantling and rebuilding beds and wardrobe. 4 bed large house with double garage.

"Professional, friendly and extremely helpful staff who made our move so much easier than previous moves we have had! Nothing was too much trouble and they all worked so hard.

Forgive us, we are terrible with names but all of the chaps who helped and supported us through this most stressful time were outstanding. We would always opt to work with you again should we move in the future."

Good Move moved the contents of a two bedroom house for us, but also moved a significant number of very large pots from the garden along with a greenhouse and an arbour.

"Good Move were a fantastic firm to deal with from start to finish. The surveyor who came to quote was very helpful and thorough and really put my mind at ease, particularly with the large garden pots and my greenhouse that I was worried about moving. The admin side was very easy and the office was really helpful with any queries before the move.

The team that moved us on the day were absolutely brilliant. They couldn't have been more helpful and made what could have been a very stressful day seem comparatively easy! They arrived on time and just managed the whole move perfectly. Everything was moved with the utmost care and they really looked after all my precious garden pots and plants.

I really feel they went the extra mile to make sure our move went smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Good Move. Many thanks to you all."

I asked Goodmove to price to pack and remove my household from Essex to Suffolk. I knew this company was good as I had used them before, but the team sent this time, were exceptional in everything they did all were like well honed athletes.

"My date of moving was very fluid due to the length of the chain agreeing a date. Good move assured me they would be be available. This was something else I did not have to worry about.
On the pack day this well oiled team arrived, and swiftly efficiently our home became a sea of cardboard boxes all well packed with identification of the contents inside.

The following day the athletes moved large pieces of furniture along with all the boxes until our home sat inside the lorry. after a drive three hours from arriving we said farewell to the team as we were in our new home all furniture placed exactly as we wanted."
