A move from a one bedroomed second floor flat to a two bedroomed house. This involved carrying everything down four flights of stairs.

"The van arrived at the time stated and the men introduced themselves properly.
I had already packed my boxes but any furniture that was to be dismantled was handled very carefully.
It was probably the hottest day of the year so far, and in spite of having to carry everything - including lots of boxes containing books - down four flights of stairs, it was all done with care and good humour (we won’t mention the trouser splitting incident!).
Entry to the new property was delayed but the men took it as just part of their working day.
They took just as much care unloading as they had in loading the van earlier.
A stressful day was made much, much easier thanks to Nick and Lewis."

We moved our furniture into storage to complete our sale but had to wait a few weeks before completion on our purchase. Therefore, we had in fact moved twice!

"The Christophers’ administration team were extremely helpful and understanding of our predicament. The removal team were bang on time for both moves.

They worked proficiently and professionally and were very respectful of our belongings and us. They packaged sofas and cushions so as not to mark them, the TV, large pictures and mirrors were carefully wrapped for protection and were handled with care. The team were very friendly and worked hard.

We would highly recommend Christopher’s’ to anyone planning a move. It was competitively priced bearing in mind the highly professional service. This is a very stressful time and they were able to put us at ease throughout."

Moving 450+ miles away

"Mike and his team from the ladies in the office to the guys loading up to the unloading couldn’t have been better. Our move wasn’t easy we had 3 different moving dates and we were moving counties 450+ miles away. The ladies in the office were checking in frequently to try and help us get the removals sorted which was such a help in a stressful situation. Mike was brilliant and had our belongings put in storage for a few days so we could use them for removals. They really all were a god send 🙌. The guys loading up were very efficient taking care of our belongings wrapping valuables and were very friendly. And Mike and his son delivered the other end also highly efficient, on time and couldn’t be nicer people. I would highly recommend this company they give you complete peace of mind. Move from Cornwall to Devon. First experience of using a removal firm

"Excellent service from Mike & his team, From the initial enquiry for a quote through to our move the communication by the company was first class., Friendly & efficient team , from the office staff to the removal team. At their suggestion the move was completed over two days due to moving out of County & this worked very well. We took advantage of the packing service for fragile and breakables and happy to report that everything arrived safe and sound with no damage.The removal team were extremely polite , courteous and professional at all times.
Thank you to the whole team & we shall have no hesitation in recommending your services to friends and family in the future.

Move from East Sussex of contents of a 3-bedroom house to storage facility in Cornwall.

"We were asked to complete a form listing all items to be moved in order for a quote to be prepared. This gave MJ Christophers a clear idea of the quantity and volume of items. The boss, Mike, was very approachable, flexible and helpful, as our move date was uncertain until just a few days beforehand.

On the day of moving, Mike and Lewis arrived promptly and were very efficient and professional. They took our belongings back to their premises for safe-keeping overnight, and the next morning brought them to the storage facility we had pre-booked. Once we are ready to move in, we will ask Mike to help us collect our belongings from storage and deliver them to our new home."

I normally don’t do reviews, but we had a some what complicated 3 day move with MJ Christopher’s, and would like to say what a very professional move it was.

"The two teams of Mike (The Owner), Nick, Lewis and Josh worked very hard, at times in torrential rain. What ever problem arrived, it was no trouble to solve, no huffs and puffs, just absolutely thorough professionalism throughout the three days, even with the delay of getting the keys which does happen, they completed the move that afternoon and came back for the third day to complete the delivery. We had an expensive dining table, and they could not get it through the front or rear doors, but carefully took it apart and rebuilt it our new dining room, just cannot praise Mike and his team enough, thank you Mike, Nick, Lewis and Josh.
If you are looking for a local professional removers, and what a team who are dedicated and take responsibility and absolute care of your furniture, look no further than M J Christophers.

From the initial enquiry for a quotation through to the delivery of my home cont.ents to my bungalow in Cornwall the service provided was faultless! The form provided to obtain a quote was thorough and the company followed up with a phone call to clarify everything. The price agreed was competitive with other quotes received. I chose the firm because they were Cornish and I believed from the quality of service and information provided gave me confidence in them.

"Throughout the process communication was excellent - staff in the Newquay office were friendly, helpful and efficient. I was phoned on the day of removal about 30 minutes prior to them arriving and throughout the process communication was great!

Staff were friendly and took great care with my possessions and loaded their huge vehicle van quickly, before departing for Cornwall. Mirrors, television s were all expertly wrapped and wardrobes provided for clothing on hangers. Delivery was a day later and possessions were transferred onto a smaller vehicle because of concerns over ease of access to my property - the company’s planning was so thorough!

I have no hesitation in recommending the firm, and would happily use them again if I decided to make another move!

Thank you for making a stressful experience happen so smoothly.
