Moving from a three bedroom house in Cornwall to a Flat in London. We had our belongings in storage for a month in Christopher’s storage facility in Newquay.

"Our move from Cornwall to London was completed by M J Christopher’s removal firm in an incredible professional manner from start to finish. Our initial contact with Zena was helpful and phone calls were always returned and answers given. Mikes on site visit was comprehensive and we felt very confident that he understood the brief and quoted accordingly. Our move into storage was efficient, done by Mike, Josh and Lewis who took great care of our belongings. In storage everything was itemised and again taken care of. The move to London was completed by Mike and Lewis. We were kept informed on arrival time which they kept to. Both men were friendly, efficient and carried out the task to the highest standard.
We would highly recommend this firm."

Movement of furniture from Cornwall to London. Some of the furniture had been in storage and some was at home, therefore it was necessary to coordinate the movement of the pieces and store it until if was time to transport it as it was a part load.

"I was delighted with the service offered by M J Christophers and Son. It was easy to book and arrange the collection and transportation of the furniture. The employees I dealt with were thoroughly professional and I was relieved to entrust my furniture to them. All the people I spoke to were so efficient and understanding.

Having not used a firm of this calibre I was happy to pay the charges, which seemed very reasonable. I did not hesitate to use this company as my daughter who has had much more experience of house moves recommended, Christophers as suitable in view of the experience and industry approvals it holds."

We moved from a 4 Bedroom detached with restricted access to a smaller property locally.

"We cannot rate Christophers highly enough. From the start of the process with them we were really impressed with the quote, and the time Mike took while with us. We had a challenging move and they were patient with us when it came to a delay in being able to confirm a moving date. They were incredible on the day we moved as well, when we had yet more delays and the service they provided was outstanding. We loved the amount of care they took with our furniture, wrapping all the sofas, dining table etc, to protect everything when moving it.
they looked professional with their uniforms and were friendly and so helpful."

Our bungalow in Cornwall was being completely renovated so we needed to remove all our furniture and belongings and place them in safe storage for approx 12 months until the building work was completed. They would then be moved back in.

"I.In all our dealings ranging from the initial site visit to review the job requirements and prepare quotations, providing the relevant packing materials, loading up and removing the contents to storage to then returning and unloading them 12 months later, all personnel involved acted in both an understanding and professional manner. They were very courteous and caring in their approach.
All contents were clearly itemised and documented and returned safely and unpacked competently. This included the rebuilding of bunk beds."

Moved from a 4 bedroom house to a smaller home, with several steps to front door

"We can’t speak highly enough of Mike and his fantastic team at MJ Christopher’s! From start to finish, they made our house move incredibly smooth and stress-free. They arrived punctually the day before our move to handle the packing, and we were immediately impressed by how smart, polite, and hardworking the team was. They took great care to double-check everything with us, ensuring that we were completely happy with the process every step of the way.
On moving day, they were right on time again, fully organized, and got everything loaded up in no time, giving me ample opportunity to do a final clean of our old home before handing it over to the new owners. When we got the keys to our new place, Mike and his team showed up promptly and took the time to ask where each item should go, making sure everything was set up exactly how we wanted.

Throughout the whole process, they worked tirelessly and with such care, all while being incredibly polite and appreciative of the drinks and snacks we offered. We’re so grateful to MJ Christopher’s for making what could have been a stressful day a completely seamless and positive experience.

"The initial visit and survey was detailed and comprehensive. On the day for collection the process started on time. The lorry was loaded by late afternoon.
Next day we met the removers at 2.00 pm ans agreed. Unloading took place until 6.30. It continued from 8.00 the next day and was completed by about 11.00.

This was a pretty big move for me being a single mum as I was moving from West Sussex to Cornwall. The move itself was fairly stressful as our completion date kept moving. However MJ Christopher’s and Sons were very helpful. They were very quick with their quote and emailing other relevant information that I needed to have. They came highly recommended from some friends who also moved from Sussex to Cornwell years back and I thoroughly agree. The whole experience was very easy and not stressful in the slightest.

"I was moving from Sussex to Cornwall, I was quite anxious but some friends recommended MJ Christopher and son. They did not disappoint! Their communication was brilliant from getting a quote and the team on moving were very calm and helpful loading up the lorry with all our belongings. We moved in to the Cornwall house the next day and again the team were polite friendly and experienced and thoughtful with coming in and helping put the furniture and belongings into the right rooms, etc.
The whole experience was amazing and definitely made the move a lot less stressful cannot rate them highly enough!

Move from Cornwall to Scotland, combining two households into one. Most companies wouldn''t offer a quote because the job was too big, but Christopher''s took it all their stride.

"Communication included a fully staffed office, with friendly staff always ready to respond and deal promptly with queries. Mike dealt calmly and professionally with the quoting process, giving us full confidence that they were capable of managing the complexities of our move and adhering to the highest professional standards.

Our quote included a full packing service, and the team delivering this were extremely hardworking, careful, polite and cheerful, leaving us confident our belongings were in safe hands. On arrival, the delivery team were fantastic and worked hard to smoothly merge both households belongings into position. We were extremely grateful for the care they took in reassembling beds and bunkbeds, making settling in a much easier process.

Communication has been excellent throughout the process and we would highly recommend this friendly, family business.

What a lovely company…. Our chain took so long to complete, but every call to Zena was met with curtesy, respect and patience. Our moving day finally arrived.

"The vehicle arrived on time.
Three very pleasant men started removing our furniture…. So careful and polite.placing protection covers down over our carpets. …. The routine was matched in moving in to our new home. … we’ve been unwrapping boxes and to date there have been no breakages.
Cannot recommend this company enough.

To move from two joined flats in the centre of town to one house on the outskirts of the same town. Standard amount of belongings but from two floors and in an area of town very busy with traffic. There was a delay between moving from one property to the other of three hours due to key release.

"The whole experience from start to finish was very positive. The team at M J Christophers were very helpful and extremely patient as we had a number of issues with our buyers so the process took a lot longer than normal from quote to actual move date.

I could not fault them in any way. Very efficient, knowledgeable, and understanding. Such kind and friendly service. Professional to the very last moment. Everything arrived in the same condition it left the original address. Nothing damaged, broken or lost.
