I was moving from a 5-bedroom house to a two bedroom house so there was lots of stuff to go. Ede Bros helped with suggestions for getting rid of stuff such as using auction houses with removals to them offered. They also provided a service for taking unwanted furniture away which I found useful. I used the packing service too - again very useful. I would not have wanted to do this on my own. There were clear quotes and I felt good prices.

"I chose Ede Bros as they were a local and well known firm to me. I was not disappointed. I received great service before the move even though circumstances meant I had to get two different quotes (one with and one without storage). They were not only very fast and efficient but also very friendly. Above all, when I found things very stressful, they were reassuring and professional, keeping me calm about everything.

Lee and Sophie were really helpful and friendly answering questions before the move. The four men (including Lee) who did the move over two days were fantastic, with lots of humour mixed in with the hard work. They were super good with fragile items. I was impressed with the way they packed glassware. Labelling was good so it was easy to locate specific items after the move. One small downside was the placing of items in the correct destination room. This was due to a bit of confusion on the naming of rooms in the new house. A relatively minor problem though. I was impressed at how furniture was stashed away in the lorries. Almost an art form!

However, if you use them, make sure you haven't packed kettle and make sure you have plenty of coffee, milk and sugar around. Consumption is heavy on the day!

I would add this was all done during two of the hottest days of the year. So well done team."

"Everyone at Ede’s removal firm were absolutely brilliant from Sophie in the office giving us plenty of reassurance when the house move wasn’t quite going to plan.

Plus the friendliness of all the removal boys, Lee, Warren, Neil and Matt and Nigel and others they were very efficient and professional with their work.

I was recommended Ede’s by a friend and I’m so glad I used them. They arrived exactly on time and started loading immediately, no hanging around. They were extremely careful with all my possessions. I was fortunate that completion was nice and early and Ede’s were very quick in unloading. They asked exactly how I wanted my furniture placed. Both the guys were very polite and hard working.

I did obtain an alternative quote, but they didn’t even bother to visit the property, just based their estimate on what furniture I had and how many boxes ‘I thought’ I’d have. They didn’t instil a feeling of confidence, whereas when Ede’s visited I immediately felt I was in safe hands."

Even before the move we knew we had chosen the right removal company as their communication, professionalism and price were all excellent. They took the time to discuss what we needed in detail and made some very helpful suggestions to ensure the move went as smoothly as possible.

"This is the third time I have used Ede's and I cannot recommend them enough!

From Sophie in the office to the guys doing the heavy lifting they are all professional, polite, hardworking, friendly and just a really great bunch of guys (and girl!). They made a really stressful moving day so much easier to handle.

They arrived exactly on time, were loaded in a few hours and even arrived at the new house before me (a 2.5hr journey!)

Full house move to a new property an hour away . Lee also dismantled and reassembled 2 children’s beds

"We couldn’t have chosen a better removal company. Lee and all his team arrived on time, they took care in all of our items. They made the big move go as smoothly as possible. No job was too much for them even in extreme heat, especially when hanging around for us to arrive to our new home.

The team also made the move as fun as possible for our two girls who was a little nervous about moving out of the only home they knew.

We would highly recommend using these removal services for anyone who is moving home. You’ll be well looked after.

"Procistion personified with charm care and may I say dedication as they seem to be enjoying it. However you can't say that about many jobs.

I was recommended to them from my buyer who has used them on many occasions and I would highly recommend them too.

"This was my second experience dealing with Ede Bros, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. This time I moved from Surrey to Derbyshire, with some items going into storage, and they were brilliant from start to finish.

Moving is always a bit stressful and emotional, but I felt like everything was completely in safe hands. Everyone I dealt with was so calm, and practical I really felt looked after.

"The team did a fabulous job of packing up and moving us into our new house. They were incredibly helpful in moving items from one room to another if we changed our minds regarding best location and went out of there way to pull an item up to the top of the house from the outside that wouldn’t fit the conventional way (up the stairs). A short local move downsizing from a large family home to an apartment. They came to the house and talked through any issues regarding access etc. Extremely professional and very helpful.

From the moment I first spoke with Ede Brothers I knew they were going to be the one!

Extremely professional, helpful, friendly, caring and thoughtful. They were all brilliant and made ease of what was a very emotional time for me. They were empathic, flexible, patient (it was a very long job due to issues further down the chain and an ever moving completion date) and most of all stayed calm and kept their sense of humour.

They were also helpful on how to wrap items and what items to think about disposing of as they would not be needed in my new home.

I cant fault them and I would definately recommend them."

We have downsized and the house we have now moved into was not ready for occupation at the time we sold our existing home. Therefore all our goods and chattles had to go into storage for about four weeks. We then moved into a new build home.

Moving from 2 bed flat to 3 bed house

"Can highly recommend Ede Brothers, who made the moving experience as stress free as possible from start to finish. The whole team were prompt, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We used a packing service for the kitchen, every item was carefully packed and each box was clearly labelled.

Everything happened very efficiently on moving day, all items ended up in the correct place and it was great to have all the furniture disassembled and reassembled, would definitely use Ede Brothers if we need to move again!"
