Major relocation from Surrey to Cornwall. Large property with items including grandfather clocks, piano, rocking horse, etc. Transport of vehicle to location as well. Full packing service of household and garden equipment.

"Martells were easy to work with. From the original quotation it felt as though they were interested and cared. They answered all our questions clearly and gave us options for dealing with more complex items. The execution of the move was handled expeditiously and well. Items were well packed and handled with appropriate care. Unloading was very quick and effective and the team were helpful in placing furniture and boxes.

Kieron drove our second car to Cornwall as part of the package which was very helpful. He and Frank were helpful, polite and made the move as easy and smooth as possible."

A large house and business move that involved three vehicles and three days of work. Large workshop and goods to be moved.

"The removal men were efficient and helpful. They were respectful and helpful.
The packed well and moved the boxes into the relevant rooms, they moved a couple of heavy items that I wanted in different positions.
All in all a good service and I would recommend Martells.

The move was from London to East Grinstead. A one bed house to a one bed flat. All quite straightforward.

"The two guys who moved us were excellent. Arrived exactly when we were told they would and started work straight away. Used protective products for our furniture and covered the floors as it was wet outside. They couldn't have been friendlier but at the same time extremely professional. I genuinely have nothing but praise for the company, excellent experience and they took away any anxiety on the day."

We had a lot of furniture, paintings, glasses , crockery and garden items. All was packed by Martells and transported very successfully in good time despite several problems not foreseen and overcome which were not Martells fault.

"Move went well. Very nice and helpful people. Very friendly and professional staff, amazing can do attitude when faced with unforeseen problems, which were not their fault.
Everything went to plan, no breakages or problems with Martells, would certainly recommend them and would use them again"

We moved from a large five bedroom victorian old bakery to a 4 bedroom 1970’s house. We had some large/heavy items of furniture. We were in the middle of a chain of 6.

"Our removal men were very polite, very helpful, very organised and very quick. They handled all our things with care, we were very impressed with how well they handled the move. We were extremely happy with the service we received and would recommend to family and friends."

To completely pack a 3 bedroom bungalow, including 3 sheds/outbuildings along with garden pots/plants/furniture, and move into another property 75 miles away.

"We had used Martells before and so picking them to do this move was an easy choice. The price was very good, the service was brilliant although they did turn up an hour earlier than expected on day one which could have caught us out and would be the only negative point.
We like the fact that there was at least one person who was with the crtew throughout the two days. It would have helped my elderly father if the crew had been the same for both days ( packing on day one and moving on day 2 ) for continuity sake.
But all in all a good move and we would use and recommend Martells. No damages and all items delivered in the same condition they left the house.
The colleagues were so honest that a pound coin found down the side of the sofa was returned to us !!"

The move was to the South of France, which meant dealing with Customs and organising all the relevant paperwork. The lorry was too big to turn into the driveway from the small lane the house was on. The solution was hiring a smaller lorry close to the house, park in a suitable location and transfer all our furniture to this smaller lorry.

"This move could have been a very stressful experience, there were some logistical issues to deal with, which if not managed correctly could have been a disaster.

Edward and his team were professional and alleviated any concerns which we might have had. Edward’s advice on packing up and dealing with French customs was invaluable. He visited us a week before the move to go through all the paperwork to ensure a smooth transition through customs. He also provided boxes, paper and tape for packing up. His team of 3 then came in a few days before the move to load the lorry. All of this was done efficiently and quickly.

Mark the driver arrived promptly on the day and let us know he had arrived and was waiting at the pre-arranged transfer location. Even though we weren’t quite ready yet, Mark patiently waited until the sale had completed. My husband then helped Mark transfer from the larger lorry to the smaller one to accommodate the small lane to the house. Mark was polite and very hard working. We soon had all our belongings in our new home.

The whole team were outstanding and a credit to Martell’s, we could not recommend them enough.

Move furniture into storage, where our furniture was stored for 3 months. It was then taken out of storage and delivered to Suffolk.

"Having sold our house, we then found the house we were purchasing was taken off the market so needed to put our furniture into storage. Martells provided excellent service in the planning and moving our belongings into storage crates. Everyone involved in the process was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The removal men were professional and packed our belongings into storage in the timeframe quoted. Office staff were very supportive and always on hand to answer any queries. When we finally got the keys to our new house the plan to bring our belongings and deliver to our new home went like clockwork. The removal men were professional, friendly and put everything where we wanted it to go, leaving us that day ready to start our new adventure in our new home. Terry, Stephen, and the young gentleman whose name we regret not asking (shame on us!) were absolutely brilliant.

They were efficient, professional, and incredibly considerate with our belongings and needs. Their calm and capable approach made what could have been a stressful day feel smooth and manageable.

Moving from a 4 bedroom house to an older 4 bedroom house with a larger garden.

"Mark and the team of 3 arrived on time as stated in the quote and then walked around the property to understand in what order items needed to be packed into the lorry. They then work continuously through the first day loading the lorry with barely a break.
They then arrived as a team of 2 to complete the remaining items. Through out the whole process all the chaps were very polite.
The unloading of the items again went very smoothly.

"The move took place over 3 days and the guys did an excellent professional job. Always helpful and careful packing fragile items. They had a really good vibe and obviously enjoyed their work. Once the furniture was in, Gavin and Kieran more than once offered to move things if we'd had a rethink. Totally recommend Martells for an stress-free professional move.
The only improvement I can think of is offering a more detailed schedule of what happens each day."

3 day local move. Very heavy bronze gorilla to move.

"Our three day move was a very easy process with the guys from Martell’s knowing exactly what to do. They were very friendly and explained what was happening and what would happen on moving day. We were very impressed with the way our very heavy bronze gorilla arrived in our new garden on what looked like a skate board. Then they placed him in the exact position which would be his new home 😊
My only regret was that we only had 4 days to pack and would have loved to have Martells packing for us.
Very happy customer and would definitely recommend anyone moving to use Martells."

Moving from Crawley Down to Winchester on 17 September. The removal guys were extremely efficient, everything carefully looked after and all items of furniture and fittings covered in cloths or put in boxes with reams of paper.
