Move felt far more challenging and chaotic than outward trip. REALLY missed the printed dossier of all info available in advance as was the case when we shipped out.

I have only used GB liners for transcontinental moves so its possible they are excellent compared with many others.

Our move out wasn't easy. Narrow lane so a smaller van was shuttled down to the lorry at the bottom of the hill.

There were also lots of steps to navigate. The team were first class, no moans and so quick.

GB Liners moved us out of our house in Ludlow and into their storage pending our move to France.

Our goods were in storage in Hereford for 12 months until we purchased a house in Bergerac.

"Both moves - ie our house has to storage and storage to France house - were completed efficiently and on time.

The final leg in France was challenging as the temperature on the day of the move was 40 degrees.

The GB liners crew of two people started the move at 7:30 AM and finished by 3:00 PM and assembled several items of furniture.

Nothing was too much trouble for them"

There was some uncertainty about the amount of items the removal men were expecting, but I thought I had been clear with the office staff.

On arrival at the new property there was also a problem getting a piano into the house but this was solved by referring to the Plymouth Depot who sent another man to help.

"The move was actually completed successfully although was some stress at each end due I think to some lack of clarity about expectations. However, the men were helpful and polite and the job was well done."

BT were digging up the cul-de-sac to properties either side of move house!

Unable to get care for dog - crew followed my instructions to ignore her. Not ideal but beyond my control.

"All went very smoothly. Good communication between team members and myself. No pressure to get locked up and follow on to new property - gave crew chance to get break and lunch."

Local move. Challenging staircase in original property. Lots of awkward garden / garage items

"This was the smoothest house move my wife and I have ever experienced. Communication was spot on from start to finish.

All staff were excellent from initial quoting agent to office staff and removal guys.

1. Removal from West Midlands to storage near Aberdeen.

2. Storage near Aberdeen for unknown period while I looked for a new house.

3 Removal from storage to new home in Aberdeen after what turned out to be approximately 5 months.

"Due to my buyer's buyer delaying proceedings, the time between knowing for certain when contracts would be exchanged and sale completed was tight, but GB liners had a date available a couple of days before the completion date which was ideal.

Another well known removal company hadn't even got their quote to me by the time I needed to make a decision.

Very pleased with the removal team at both ends of the move and with support from Emma in the Hereford office."
