Moving from 3-bed to 4-bed with piano and about 30 garden plants, garden furniture and 40+ boxes of hand painted model soldiers with accompanying paraphernalia.

"Absolute gem of a team; they were efficient, robust, capable and polite and professional.

We were naturally very stressed throughout our move and got the keys to our new property quite late, but the team took it all in their stride, reassured us and finished the job as promised.

They put everything exactly where we wanted, listened to our suggestions(!) and nothing was too much trouble.

We used the full packing and moving service on 24 and 25 August and couldn�t recommend it highly enough.

"A particular thank you to Steve, Liam and Jacob, who were fantastic throughout. They spent the first day carefully packing up the entire house, with everything really well labelled, before returning for the move itself the following day. Furniture was dismantled and rebuilt where needed, and they made sure everything ended up in the correct rooms at the new house, which made unpacking so much easier.

We had an unexpected hiccup with access to the driveway at the new property, but the team just dealt with it. Everything packed on day one had to be transferred into smaller vans at their yard so they could actually access the property. Despite the extra work and a very long day, they remained friendly, approachable and professional throughout and never once seemed frustrated by any of it.

They worked late into the evening on move day to make sure everything got into the house, bringing in reinforcements as needed � at one point I think there were more than ten people helping to get us over the line!

Moving house is stressful enough, but having the full packing and moving service took away a huge amount of that stress. Based on our experience, I�d genuinely say it�s an essential rather than a luxury when moving home.

A huge thank you again to Steve, Liam, Jacob and everyone else who came along to help. Brilliant service from start to finish and we wouldn�t hesitate to recommend them."

We had Metro move 2 small offices plus a storage area into a bigger office for us

"So what can I say about this company apart from they are truly amazing at what they do. From their customer service team to the movers themselves they are all so polite and professional at all times.

We spoke with them prior to us moving and they sent Lee straight out to survey the work that was needed. He arrived polite and smart and knew what we was asking of him.

Spoke to customer service team in between the move with our 101 questions who was always happy and polite and ready to help.

It was then the day for the team to arrive who arrived promptly when said they would and made our move so stress free and easy. Such a lovely bunch of guys who always had a smile on their face and remained professional at all times.

Id totally recommend these to anyone needing a removal company."

"I cannot praise the team highly enough they arrived on time really quick in clearing the furniture and boxes out of the house and carefully packed them in the van.

At the other end they were excellent and went above and beyond to help. There were some tricky flight of stairs ad doors to navigate and a bit of a walk to the flat.

They put every thing in place with great care and great efficiency.

I ARRANGED FOR METRO REMOVALS TO PACK ALL MY BELONGINGS AND TRANSPORT THEM TO OUR NEW HOME, MY WIFE IS DISABLED AND I SUFFER WITH BREATHING PROBLEMS.WE NORMALLY PACK EVERYTHING OURSELVES BUT THIS TIME LEFT IT TO THIS COMPANY TO DO IT ALL.

"ALTHOUGH THE PEOPLE I DEALT WITH WERE HELPFUL AND POLITE THEIR WERE SEVERAL ISSUES WE HAD WHICH MADE OUR EXPERIENCE LESS THAN BEING COMPLETLY SATISFIED.

WHEN WE ARRIVED IN OUR NEW HOME, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO DIRECT THE GUYS AS I FELT THAT THE BOXES NEEDED MORE INFORMATION ON THEM TO ENSURE THAT THEY WERE PUT IN THE RIGHT ROOM.

MANY WERE PUT UNDER THE STAIRS AS I WAS UNSURE WHERE THEY SHOULD GO.

WHEN WE WERE IN OUR NEW PROPERTY THE FRIDGE FREEZER WAS LEFT OUTSIDE FOR A CONSIDERABLE AMMOUNT OF TIME. IT WAS ALSO A VERY HOT DAY. EVENTUALLY THEY INSTALLED THE FRIDGE FREEZER BUT IT STARTED TO MAKE A NOISE, I PHONED METRO AND SPOKE TO LEE AND EXPLAINED THE ISSUE AND ASKED IF SOMEONE COULD CHECK IT OUT.HE SAID IT WAS NOT HIS PROBLEM AND SUGGESTED THAT I CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER AS IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY.

UNFORTUNATELY ON EXPLAINING THE REASON FOR THE FAULT THEY SAID THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY AND THAT DUE TO IT BEING LEFT OUT IN THE SUN FOR HOURS CAUSED THE PROBLEM. I HAVE NOW HAD AN ENGINEER FIX THE FRIDGE FREEZER BUT AM DISAPOINTED WITH THE TONE AND RESPONSE FROM LEE AS I THINK HE COULD HAVE DEALT WITH THE SITUATION BETTER."

They removed our furniture and belongings, put it into storage while we took our time finding another home, and then delivered it long-distance at a date of our choosing.

"They arrived when they said they would, parked sensibly without blocking the road, took extra care with our record collection and packed storage crates well to economize on storage costs. Everyone was polite, sensible, calm and patient. Nothing was damaged, not even a scratch.

They gently nudged when storage costs were overdue, warned me when they were starting to book up with other jobs. They were willing to bring our storage long-distance, turned up on time, good-humoured, patient, careful of the new carpet.

All good really. Excellent drivers. Yes, I would recommend this company."

Access to the property was a challenge, so the movers had to load up small wagons and transfer to a larger lorry on Grafton Road. They had to negotiate a building site and it�s traffic the other end of the move.

"Absolutely amazing. Timing keeping was spot on. Everyone was so helpful, polite and kind.

Nothing was too much trouble throughout the move. The boys worked like trojans. Always checking to make sure we were happy."

My removals required 2 days due to the distance involved. They stored everything in their locked yard overnight and delivered early the following day. I was also moving with an elderly cat.

"From my first contact with Metro through to sale completion - their team made it surprisingly so absolutely easy!!

Everything was carefully packed, loaded, delivered and unloaded by very caring, considerate staff who fully understood my requirements.

They went above and beyond to transform a horrendously stressful time into a really delightful experience. Nothing was damaged and everything placed exactly in the correct places and rooms.

Moved 10 minutes down the road. Had loads of heavy outdoor plant pots, very heavy and also had a piano to move. Opted to pack myself and unpack myself. Very efficient loading of everything and also explained the plan for loading. Everyone knew what they were doing and it seemed to take no time at all. Due to solicitors holding onto money and slowing the whole �transfer of money� up, moving in was delayed to late Friday evening. Despite this the team were very supportive and even brought in another team to unload and move things along. Fabulous removal company.

Made a very stressful day (solicitors) so much more easier. When time was running out at the end of the move they brought in another team to move everything along. Can�t praise this team enough. We paid for the full service of having Metro Removals pack all of our goods for removal.

"It seemed that everything was being well packed but 2 items were broken during the move and 2 items of furniture scratched. Breakages happen but I would have been happier about it if we had been told rather than being left to find out for ourselves.

The labelling of the packed boxes was rando, hit and miss, making it very difficult to find things when we started to unpack.

Despite many reassurances, we were over 3 hours late in handing over the keys on departure day, much to the annoyance of our buyers."
