A standard home but had a stairlift fitted at the other end which reduced space on the staircase.

Move from Northamptonshire to Cheltenham - long drive!

Moved us from our old house to our new one. It took 3 days in all due to the size of our furniture etc.

Excellent service . Although a long distance move everything went smoothly from start to finish.

With Metro Removals I knew right from the start that I would be in safe hands. Meeting Sam who immediately put me at my ease and Dean who came later to quote and carry out the removal, they were second to none.

Moving my elderly mother from her 3 bed home of 60 years+ into sheltered accommodation. Her new flat is on the 1st floor and quite a walk along a maze of corridors.

We had two houses to move in to one on the same day. The family home was packed up the day before.

We had a 2 day move as we relocated into a different county.

Over the past 7 years or so, I have moved house twice, and Metro have at various times collected, stored, re-delivered and unpacked three containers of household items for me.

Moving from 1st floor maisonette to 1st floor flat. Very steep stairs at loading end. Several big bits of furniture to navigate down two flights stairs.

Move went very smoothly.We had the packing and unpacking service as we are unable to do it ourselves.The two staff arrived the day before to pack everything that was not needed prior to the move .The came the next morning to complete the packing and load onto the vehicle.from leaving our old address until unpacking at are new address was very efficient completed in approx 3.5 hours. Both staff were very polite and helpful it made a stressful time very easier.I have used metro previously and found them to be polite and helpful. I cannot remember both the of the staff name .Lee weas one but appologise for not remembering his colleagues name.Lee had moved us previously.

We have used Metro on a number of occasions over the last 3 years, for removals and storage purposes. All our dealings have been dealt with in a professional and efficient manner and the removal teams in particular have gone to every length to accommodate our requirements.

The four removers were excellent in their duties on the day we moved. They immediately began loading the lorry with all the household, garden, shed and garage items. They were all enthusiastic, energetic, polite and very helpful throughout the move from one property to another. They worked very hard all day from start to finish. All boxes were stored as indicated on each one. The furniture was dismantled and reassembled without any difficulties. They carried the heavy and/or fragile furniture with due care and diligence. I cannot praise their work highly enough. From my initial interview with the owner of the firm, to his detailed information he took from us beforehand and the paperwork detailing how much it would cost, to the final form I signed to say the removers had carried out the work with a remendous attitude and handling of our goods. Thank you for the whole job from start to finish. Thank you very much.

It was hot, there were very many stairs and two truck loads. All staff friendly, helpful and got on with the job. Brilliant.

Pack up house and remove to the next down. Moving from 3 bed house to 2 bed bungalow : unfortunatly the lady of the house is in the mid stages of dementia and refused to dispose of anything ! We moved on a Monday, so the packers came on Friday which worked well for us. The lady had already packed a lot, which made it more awkward for the men as not everything was in standard boxes, and despite me telling her - she packed boxes till they were full, rather then capable of being carried.
