Metro moved us out of a house in Kettering & an apartment in Nottingham into our new home in Barton Seagrave. It was done over a number of visits including Metro storing some of our belongings.

Metro Removals moved all our furniture and belongings from the UK to Italy.

"It was a seamless exercise from start to finish. Lee was fantastic at organising everything, the guys that packed us up in the UK worked with amazing speed, and Dean and Steve in Italy were incredible moving everything into the house up steep lanes and a lot of stairs in hot conditions. We used Metro for our recent move from the home we lived in for 20+ years. It was about an hour and a half away so Metro loaded the majority of our belongings the day before onto their lovely clean removal lorry and returned promptly the next morning for the remainder - our bed and fridge/freezer.

"The team on both days were calm, friendly, efficient and professional and guided by their team leader Steve.
On arrival at our new address they had to park up and wait for the previous owners to finish loading their lorry as they were running late, so that caused us a bit of anxiety!

Thankfully they didn’t have to wait too much longer before they were able to begin unloading and once again they did a great job and this helped us to begin to find our feet in our new home.
Thank you all very much.

Not having heard of Metro Removals Ltd, we just requested a few quotes from companies nearby and Lee from Metro visited and quoted and we took a chance with them. So glad we did and would highly recommend them."

Move from large 4 bed detached near Northampton to storage in York (in two stages) and then the move from York storage to a 4 bed detached in Pickering. It was unusual because we used Metro for the “local” move from York to Pickering - we did this because we were very pleased with the initial move from home to storage. Metro were very friendly and efficient.

"Can’t praise them enough.
Always returned my calls if they didn’t / couldn’t answer first time.
Explained everything / whole process.
Arrived on time.
Packed effectively and efficiently - we had a lot of valuable art which they took care of.
When they unloaded / transferred to our new property there was no damage or even marks to
our new house & furniture.

Moved us from our old house to our new one. It took 3 days in all due to the size of our furniture etc.

"We engaged Metro to move house, from the beginning to the end they were very professional. They went out of their way to help us with a difficult move which spanned 3 days.
Steve and his crew were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble including having to move a staircase out of the way to access the top floor with bulky items which would not fit otherwise.

"From the initial survey and quote, through to the packing up of our home and the unloading at our new address, we can not fault the team at Metro. Everyone we dealt with has been extremely polite and professional, and have answered all our queries without fuss.

They responded quickly to our initial online enquiry, arrived on time for the survey and provided all the information we required to help make our decision.

On the day, the team worked fast and efficiently and were respectful to both the property and the individual items. Not a single breakage or damage at all.

With Metro Removals I knew right from the start that I would be in safe hands. Meeting Sam who immediately put me at my ease and Dean who came later to quote and carry out the removal, they were second to none.

"I found Metro to be a professional, caring and friendly company and knew they would be able to carry out my removal regardless of any difficulties.

Also importantly, they accommodated my very urgent and rushed date for removal and that I was extremely grateful for.

My concern of the very heavy furniture which was situated on the first floor, was absolutely no problem to them. Their experience shone through.

What a pleasure it was to have no worries and to have my stress taken away by them. I thank you all very much.
From start to finish. My first meeting, to the end of the removal. Everything ran so smoothly.

On meeting with the people of Metro Removals you know they care and understand the stress of moving home and lift it from you immediately. No worries whatsoever. No hesitation at all.

Moving my elderly mother from her 3 bed home of 60 years+ into sheltered accommodation. Her new flat is on the 1st floor and quite a walk along a maze of corridors.

"From my original enquiry to the last box being delivered into the new flat all personable were polite and helpful.
The movers arrived punctually on the day and worked very hard to get the move completed in a very short time.

We had two houses to move in to one on the same day. The family home was packed up the day before.

"The removal guys took all the stress away and I would not hesitate to recommend Metro. I have given your details to our Estate Agent so he can recommend to future clients

Absolutely fantastic service, from calling on the phone to book and keep re checking dates due to our completion date being delayed.
The guys who packed our house were great, I have not done a packing service before however this took all the stress away on moving day and in my opinion is the only way to do it now.

Moving from 1st floor maisonette to 1st floor flat. Very steep stairs at loading end. Several big bits of furniture to navigate down two flights stairs.

Move went very smoothly.We had the packing and unpacking service as we are unable to do it ourselves.The two staff arrived the day before to pack everything that was not needed prior to the move .The came the next morning to complete the packing and load onto the vehicle.from leaving our old address until unpacking at are new address was very efficient completed in approx 3.5 hours. Both staff were very polite and helpful it made a stressful time very easier.I have used metro previously and found them to be polite and helpful. I cannot remember both the of the staff name .Lee weas one but appologise for not remembering his colleagues name.Lee had moved us previously.

"Very pleased with all aspects of the move.Dean who came and assessed what we needed and answered any questions we had.Emailed the quote which we found reasonable.The packing and unpacking very efficient.Both staff polite and cheerful.Timings were very good.
We have used metro previously when we moved and required storage.
All staff we met sorry cannot remember everyones name except Lee who we had dealt with before and Dean who came to assess were cheerful and polite.
Have recommended metro to our previous neighbours who were looking for a removal company for their daughter to use for her removalWe would definately use again if we needed to move again which hopefully would not be the case.

We have used Metro on a number of occasions over the last 3 years, for removals and storage purposes. All our dealings have been dealt with in a professional and efficient manner and the removal teams in particular have gone to every length to accommodate our requirements.

"We have moved twice recently and used long term storage facilities in-between. Both the storage and removal procedures have been excellent, the teams involved were punctual, polite and made the whole process as quick and easy for us as possible. Would highly recommend."
