Here at Metro Removals, we are a family-run business offering a range of expert removals services and storage solutions throughout Kettering, Market Harborough and Thrapston.

They removed our furniture and belongings, put it into storage while we took our time finding another home, and then delivered it long-distance at a date of our choosing.

"They arrived when they said they would, parked sensibly without blocking the road, took extra care with our record collection and packed storage crates well to economize on storage costs. Everyone was polite, sensible, calm and patient. Nothing was damaged, not even a scratch.

They gently nudged when storage costs were overdue, warned me when they were starting to book up with other jobs. They were willing to bring our storage long-distance, turned up on time, good-humoured, patient, careful of the new carpet.

All good really. Excellent drivers. Yes, I would recommend this company."

Access to the property was a challenge, so the movers had to load up small wagons and transfer to a larger lorry on Grafton Road. They had to negotiate a building site and it’s traffic the other end of the move.

"Absolutely amazing. Timing keeping was spot on. Everyone was so helpful, polite and kind.

Nothing was too much trouble throughout the move. The boys worked like trojans. Always checking to make sure we were happy."

My removals required 2 days due to the distance involved. They stored everything in their locked yard overnight and delivered early the following day. I was also moving with an elderly cat.

"From my first contact with Metro through to sale completion - their team made it surprisingly so absolutely easy!!

Everything was carefully packed, loaded, delivered and unloaded by very caring, considerate staff who fully understood my requirements.

They went above and beyond to transform a horrendously stressful time into a really delightful experience. Nothing was damaged and everything placed exactly in the correct places and rooms.

What an amazing team - fantastic people, considerate, knowledgeable, truly professional and helpful throughout.

Totally, without question I would recommend, in fact highly recommend Metro Removals Ltd and would definitely use again."

Exchanged Tuesday to move out on Friday. Purchase wasn''t ready, so had to go into storage. Completed following Monday and moved in on Thursday.

"We were dealt with very professionally at every stage. Unsure if we would need storage until the last minute, but this was accomodated without fuss. The whole team were very pleasant and helpful and nothing got broken."

Moved 10 minutes down the road. Had loads of heavy outdoor plant pots, very heavy and also had a piano to move. Opted to pack myself and unpack myself. Very efficient loading of everything and also explained the plan for loading. Everyone knew what they were doing and it seemed to take no time at all. Due to solicitors holding onto money and slowing the whole ‘transfer of money’ up, moving in was delayed to late Friday evening. Despite this the team were very supportive and even brought in another team to unload and move things along. Fabulous removal company.

"Very friendly team. Introduced themselves, were very organised and everyone knew what they were doing. Loaded lorry quickly and efficiently. Made a very stressful day (solicitors) so much more easier. When time was running out at the end of the move they brought in another team to move everything along. Can’t praise this team enough. Moving a three bedroom semi detached to a four bedroom listed building.

"We had a fantastic experience with Metro during our move last week. The team on the day were amazing—friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. Moving house can be stressful, but they made the whole process run smoothly and took a huge amount of pressure off us.

Their organisation and the care they took with our belongings really stood out, and their positive attitude made the day so much easier. It was clear that everyone involved worked very hard to make sure everything went well.

We paid for the full service of having Metro Removals pack all of our goods for removal.

"It seemed that everything was being well packed but 2 items were broken during the move and 2 items of furniture scratched. Breakages happen but I would have been happier about it if we had been told rather than being left to find out for ourselves.

The labelling of the packed boxes was rando, hit and miss, making it very difficult to find things when we started to unpack.

Despite many reassurances, we were over 3 hours late in handing over the keys on departure day, much to the annoyance of our buyers."

"On delivery day to our 4 bedroom home, they were kept waiting by a national company that emptied our new home at sloth pace. Needless to say that despite it being in the afternoon before Metro were able to unload, they did so with care and professionalism placing items in the right rooms

"Everyone at Metro were straight forward in their explanation (including on the phone and office staff) there was no awkward add on costs, they were polite, cheerful, no problem with asking them to do particular tasks or moving of boxes to other rooms, efficient and thoughtful with unpacking of vehicles, careful, kept us in touch with their plans, worked brilliantly as a team. We moved a considerable amount of furniture into a container in my son''s field on the edge of the village and the rest into our new home.

"The owner visited us within 48 hours after we had contacted the company. We had a quotation the following day.

The packers arrived promptly. Every individual piece of crockery and glassware was wrapped separately. Extreme care was taken over every item which was packed.

As we had both a storage and a house destination, we had changed our minds a few times over which piece went where. The movers were polite and accommodating at all times. We only had one minor breakage which was amazing!

We could not recommend this company highly enough.

We have used Metro removals previously & so decided to go with them once again as everything went well the last time.

"They made the move seamless and stress free with no hicups at all on the day.All in all a perfect move from start to finish even though final completion a little slow but no issues with Metros role on the day.

They did not disappoint us & everything went extremely well once again.Very helpful polite team who put my mind at ease with their professional approach from the moment they arrived to completion and final unloading.

Only a short local move but i worried about the parking at the new address,as a very tight road.

They navigated it easily and parked up the large truck safely.

Will definetely use metro again as we do intend on moving one final time in the future."

We moved from a 2 bedroom Victorian terraced house on a main road to a newer 3 bedroom house around 6 miles away in the next town.

"The whole move happened at very short notice with only 2 days notice and the team were very helpful in getting us booked in. The two men that can were fantastic. Very professional, helpful and friendly. We would have no hesitation in recommending."
