Moved from London to a location 2 hours away

"The team at Pegler Removals have been amazing! They turned up on time, and immediately made feel at ease as I was completely overwhelmed with the state of my packing.

The team also got to my new home before I did, and rearranged my furniture in the lounge and bedroom including even hanging some of my paintings up. After a 2 hour drive, and a long day, I was so touched by their kindness!! They also placed my belongings in areas where it was easy to find.

The office team were equally helpful with the positive communication throughout my moving process and were able to be flexible considering my circumstances."

A standard residential move of a three-bed terraced house in London to a three-bed semi-detached house in Essex.

"We received excellent service and advice throughout, from the initial quote, contact during the conveyancing process and scheduling our removal date through to the team arriving to pack and then undertake the actual move.

Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional and I cannot praise them highly enough.

In addition the price was extremely competitive and I am very happy to recommend the company to anyone considering a move.

In my working life, I have undertaken a number of large and small company moves so feel able to judge a removal firm fairly. Peglers are by far the best I have ever used."

I was moved from my old property to my new property with some of my furniture going into storage

"From my initial contact with the company for a quote to my final move I had great service.
I had difficulty with my completion dates but the ladies in the office were always understanding and changed my moving date several times without hesitation. I had some of my furniture and possessions put into storage and when they were returned to me 9 months later they were in perfect condition. The fees for the storage was charged monthly so there was no big bill to pay at the end.
I would definitely use Peglar�s again if I ever moved again. I would definitely recommend them."

"The day from I went to their office to request a quote I was greeted by a welcome . That afternoon a member of the company arrived at our home to provide us with a quotation. We never once felt pressured and we did not look at any other companies we accepted their quote which we thought was very reasonable indeed. We were given packing materials in advance and I also requested extra which promptly arrived. The day of the move the team arrived on time, from when they arrived nothing was too much trouble for them . We found them very curtesy and polite and they were extremely hard workers . We would definitely recommend them to others five stars all the way .

Residential Move with special needs. Challenge was driveway which was steep for vehicles and snow. Packing service provided day before load. Distance was over 100 miles so timelines to load and depart were tight.

"I was a little sceptical regarding the packing service but with hindsight it was an absolute blessing and I would thoroughly recommend the investment in the extra cost.
The team of guys that moved us were very good, helpful, polite and did a great job.

"The packer arrived on Thursday and was a whirlwind of activity packing everything. The moving crew arrived early on Friday and loaded everything quickly and efficiently. There was a delay getting into the new house but once in, everything was unloaded and set up very fast. We moved out of our house in Feb this year and Pegler moved most of our furniture etc.. into storage Our move out date was fraught with the usual instability and uncertainty but Pegler handled it all calmly and efficiently After a much longer delay than planned we moved into our new house in August - once again, instability and uncertainty affected our move in date, even more so than in Feb, but Pegler were marvellous nb! price below includes 6mths storage, a fragile pack and a small charge for Saturday move in - all of which we were more than happy to pay

Michael P was always a pleasure to deal with - from original quote to last minute panic over move in timing.

The guys on the truck were incredibly efficient and pleasant.

I love the girls in the office. They were always so calm and friendly even when I was losing patience over issues out of their control.

I will not hesitate to recommend them at every opportunity.

The whole of the move from one to the other was excellent everything went according to plan. Boxes and Box-wardrobes for hanging items were supplied by the removal company and a great description of what was going to happen was explained very clearly to me. Both myself and my wife were very happy with the way everything went and we were both happy with the price.

"After getting in touch with the PEGLARS REMOVALS COMPANY, they gave me a date and a rough time to come and see me and the and the items that were going to be moved, then they got back in touch with the price that the move would cost, all of this was done exactly as described by the owner MICHAEL.
When we obtained a moving date we informed the and they did everything else.
The moving team tuned up on the day and started work they took great care of our furniture and all our boxes whilst loading them onto the lorry and the same when offloading we at our destination.
All in all everything was very professional and both the company and the team were great, they made the whole day run like clockwork, which in turn made it a very easy day for us.
We could not fault them and we would 100% recommend this company to anybody."

"The quotation process was easy and straightforward. The quote was competitive. The service offered was comprehensive with options available as to packing, etc. Packing boxes, paper and tape were freely and adequately provided.
On the day of the move the team arrived promptly. The whole process was carried out efficiently, professionally and with due care and attention.
All of the same comments apply to moving in to our new property.
