We had a very complicated series of moves and storage over 2.5 years. Sold house, rented flat, bought house, moved out and then back. They did full service packing, removal delivery and reassembling large furniture. Each move was executed professionally. The team were friendly and polite and got on with the job with care and attention.

I am pleased to provide a review of the team from Britannia Ryans Move International. Excellent from start to finish. Mr Ryan himself attended to review the property and provide the estimate for the job and they then kindly provided packing materials so I could steal a march on packing (which they would do) to permit the opportunity to clean and tidy within my moving time frame.

"On the day itself, two very personable chaps came in and have carefully packaged all fragile items, removed all furniture and did so in an efficient but most importantly, as it is is a bitter sweet task for the seller of a home, in a personable and charming manner.

Highly recommended and a pleasure to work with.

I would whole heartedly recommend this team and am grateful for their excellent work.

They were 1h20mins late. Therefore I missed my pre-booked moving in lifts session. They forgot one of my suitcases upstairs, luckily I was overseeing the move so reminded them to pick this up.

"They never responded to my emails unless I chased with a call. Two days before the move I was advised that they would not be able to provide their services due to the fact that the crew would be busy elsewhere and would not be able to arrive on time. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. As you know, we had a move booked in the morning before yours and your small collection for the afternoon.
For reasons beyond our control we could not complete the first as expected. Hence we had to bring in another crew + vehicle to cover your collection. Your move was booked for saturday afternoon when our office was close also contributed to the lack of communication.
I would like to apologies again and confirmed we now have procedures in place so this does not happen again.

Move from flat to house. The movers were excellent managing awkward spaces with large furniture.

"The removal company was excellent and punctual providing a phone call in the morning to let me know they were on their way. The furniture was protected and wrapped and treated with respect. The staff worked extremely hard. The staff then delivered the furniture and made sure it was placed in the correct room and was unwrapped and set up. The flooring was protected. Packing and removal from a 2 bed flat in North London to a 3 bed, 3 story house in Surrey. Included some very delicate items (multiple guitars) and a full sized cross trainer, two sofas, a large bed, etc. The team did an amazing job packing, disassembling, and reassembling all of our furniture. They also worked very hard getting some of our furniture up two flights of stairs at the new house; as well as navigating some difficult corridors. Additionally, it was a tight timeline between exchange and completion (7 days) so they were very flexible in fitting us in.

"The whole service we received from Brittania was amazing. This is our second move using them- and we can highly recommend their service. They were extremely flexible in fitting in our removal, as we had a tight timeline between exchange and completion (7 days). The team who came out to pack up the flat were lovely and very professional. They worked exceptionally hard to get all items packed and secured safely, including many delicate items such as guitars, Waterford glassware, TVs, etc. Also, due to the shape of the flat, many items had to be disassembled to get out- which was done quickly and safely.
We also had a self storage unit which we wanted to be picked up by the movers on the way to our new home. This was done very smoothly with no issues- and they were happy to do this for us.
Upon arrival to our new home, the team arrived early to start moving us in- which was amazing as we got the keys before 12pm. They called first to ensure we were ready.
They worked exceptionally hard getting everything into the house and made sure we were happy with the positioning and reassembly (where required). They also didn't give up when it was a little tricky to get some furniture upstairs, such as a cross trainer and a large awkward sofa.
The team were even clever in packing our clothes to ensure those which were hanging weren't left creased in a box.
The service was great- can't fault it- and would definitely book Brittania again."

The men arrived promptly and after discussion with what needs to be done over a cuppa, they got on with their work. They were more than happy to accommodate any requests.

"Chris came to do the site survey and was most professional to the others I had seen. Chris made suggestions and gave advice which was useful. The quote was the most expensive, but you get what you pay for.


The removal men were friendly and accommodating and evidently experienced in office/house moves as I was completely overwhelmed with it all."

"Excellent - as predicted I cannot create a more positive response towards retrieving my home contents from Ryans storage for 4 months. Yes - a few things broke - but more my problem that Ryans and they were fast, friendly and I will always use Britannia again. My only comment is that afterwards - you are left with so many flat cardboard boxes that nobody wants to handle - otherwise perfect."

"I found Brittania to be very professional , reliable and friendly thought my two moves in the space of two months. Its stressful moving so a good service is essential to putting your mind at ease that everything will be taken care of nicely. In particular due to some move in date uncertainty the help and understanding I was given to accommodate me flexibly was very much appreciated considering the service they run that has to be timed to perfection to maintain overall service quality levels. 5 stars and would recommend Brittania without hesitation.

Having read the above survey I would have welcomed some insurance explanation and the value that my quote covered as in the small but possible event things get damaged the last thing you need is lack of clarity over the amount covered. I also forgot to ask about these..but the move went well and was not so complicated in this case.

I did find cheaper elsewhere but as I had used Brittania before and was happy in this case I needed everything to go smoothly and considered it to be extra money well spent."

"The removal team led by Linden were brilliant. They went above and beyond to help us out when we broke down ( not the removal lorry ) on the way to our new house. Without Linden and his team support the move would have been very stressful. Linden and his team stayed on late, collected the keys from the Estate agents and off loaded while we had to arrange for a hire car from the garage.
