We are a family business with over 100 years experience in household and commercial removals and will do our best to ensure that the day of your move is a pleasant experience.

We believe that from the moment you contact us for a free quote, to completion of your removal, you will not find a more professional and friendly company.

We specialise in household and office removals, with 800 to 2000 cubic foot capacity vehicles available. We can also provide a full packing service, should you require it, or you may prefer to pack everything yourselves using our containers and materials.

As an independent removal and haulage specialist, we offer the highest standards and flexibility to ensure that your removal is a smooth one. Just let us know when you want to move and what you need moving, and we will let you have a quotation as soon as we can.

Move of a 4 bedroom house a distance of about 50 miles. Three challenges where Archers packed the items. Very large and heavy mirror, large screen TV's and an 8 seater glass top for a table. All items delivered with no breakages.

Move from a large 7 bedroomed Guesthouse to a 3 bed detached. A 4 day move with full packing, locations approx 25 miles apart. Archers moved the contents to various locations with some items to an auction house and some into storage. Unusual items included transporting a classic car and telephone box.

All was done professionally and punctually. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with good humour.
The team worked very well despite being harassed and put under pressure by our purchasers and their removal company who wanted to gain possesion 4 hours earlier than 1 - 2 pm as advised.
All in all we would recommend Archers for thoroughly good job with no hitches.
We would have no hesitation in using them again."

All removal from previous house fine. Could not enter new property as solicitors on chain hadn't given the go ahead and so final entry to the property was very late. Your staff had to unload all down a lane where only one wagon could get through.

Packing and moving from a 4 bed detached to a slightly bigger 4 bed detached 20 miles away.
We had a solar battery to move which 15 extremely heave. This was moved with great care.

"The team were very efficient and courteous.
Nothing was damaged or broken and it made what could have been a stressful day very easy. No complaints. "
