Moving contents of a 4 bedroom house from Twickenham to Northampton.

"Arrived a little bit late due to traffic problems but Jamie,Jack,Reece,Gabor and Sam worked non stop from start to finish. They all introduced themselves to us on arrival. Nothing was too much for them, our range cooker, our wrought iron chiminea, moved with no problems. We had originally booked another removals firm but was let down just a few days before our move. We searched for quotes and got a phone call from Alize who was very helpful. We had a survey the following day and a very good quote. We had expected to get a much higher quote being in the situation we were in. I would definitely recommend "I Like To Move It Move It" and I would definitely use them again."

Move involved moving half our stuff to a London address and half to an address outside London, so quite complicated. Team spent one day packing , one day moving to first address and one day to second address.

"We recently used “I like to move it..” for our house move. I am not one to usually leave reviews but in this case I really wanted to take my time to thank the guys, Jamie, Jack, Ahmad, Ari, and 2 others I forgot their names.
Thank you all so much for all the sweat and pain you put into our move and not a word of complaint, you all just got on with it. Even when we faced the problem of the fridge freezer wasting 45 mins of our time (I didn’t know where the water mains were) and even when I was locked outside my house and we couldn’t get in that morning!! You all were so accommodating and didn’t put me under any pressure.
The quote was worth every penny for the amount of work involved. I seriously doubt the cheaper quotes I received would have done the job the way these boys carried it out. I didn’t want to think about solutions to problems, and on the day of the move you will always find something can go wrong.
This company/team bended backwards to make the day go through smoothly for us.

House move

"We requested for a part packing removal service with the company packing only fragile and large items. We packed our own clothing and toiletries.
Ari came in for a survey to assess the work load and how many men he needed to send for the job. The quote was provided the same day.
On the day, the removal team came in well prepared, they were thoroughly briefed on the discussion I had with Ari in regards to what needed to be taken, what was staying and what items would be dumped.
The team did an excellent job leaving us in peace and literally just getting on with the packing. It worked out really well for us as the items we needed to use last minute we’re packed last.
There was no time wasted at all, I would highly recommend them to anyone that is planning to do any kind of move."

Large move from 4 bed house to another 4 bed house including garden bbq and tools

"I can’t thank you and your team enough for helping us making our new house our home.
I was personally facing anxiety knowing the reality of all the work involved in this process. Moving from a 4 bedroom / 3 reception house which we had lived in for 27 years, to another 4 bedroom house, I knew was going to be hectic.
Before I accepted Ari’s quote I had quite a few people come in with various prices. Some cheaper and some more expensive.
I almost went ahead with the cheaper one until Ari talked me through the difference in the service I was to expect.
He was right this was not going to be a 3 man job at all. There was no point spending a few hindered pounds less and still not get the job done.
The team were amazing from day one to the end. It’s the kind of team that take pride in their work and really put their full energy and effort into it.
The boxes were all marked clearly and taken to the designated rooms in the new house. Large furniture was unwrapped and placed where we wanted. We even asked for the extra service of getting wall hangings like mirrors and paintings placed on the walls. Which was done immaculately.
It would have taken us months to settle down. But with all your help (big massive thank you) my entire family feel more comfortable and at home already."

The contents of a two bedroom flat with lots of art, big furniture and fragile mirrors were moved into storage. Some of the art was large scale, and quite valuable. Two huge bookcases were moved - they made it look easy.

The storage unit we booked was too small and there were no larger sizes available; the movers solved this problem with their own contacts and maximised the space, getting max value out of the storage units.
The team were careful, efficient and lovely to work with. Can trust them with valuable art. They are excellent value; I Will be booking again"

We had a tricky move from a 19th floor apartment with restricted access and a long transfer time to the van from the flat, moving to a 3 storey house with limited parking.

"We wanted a mover who would come to assess our property before quoting, as we had very compromised parking and transit from our 19th floor apartment to the loading bay. Ari was a pleasure to deal with, very thorough in assessing our items and their contents and provided a clear outline of how they would work, both on the packing and moving day. Pack up was fantastic - went out in the morning to return to our home fully packed and ready to go. On the move itself, the team were careful, helpful and quick - all the things you want, but more than that, they were good humoured, 'can do' and ready to help/ work around any issues as the day unfolded. Moving can obviously be stressful, so this last point really was an enormous benefit and one we appreciated enormously. They made is as easy and painless as it could possibly be and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again. Very happy."

The move involved removing a large number of items - boxes, furniture and miscellaneous items from a completely full 100 sq foot storage space at Big Yellow Storage, loading it into a van (this took 3 journeys), bringing it to my home, unloading it and carrying all items through the house, down a 130 foot garden, up some steep steps and carefully putting it into a garden storage space. The job took all day (9.5 hours), with 2 men for the first 5.5 hours and then a third man joining the job.

"The thing that was most impressive about this excellent job was the attitude and service level that it was carried out with. The guys could not have been more willing, more helpful or more polite and friendly. Whatever was asked of them they cheerfully just got on with it - nothing was too much trouble. The notability of this level of service cannot be overstated. We live in a world of cant' do and using spurious health and safety excuses to avoid doing the most basic of tasks. This company was the diametric opposite of that. If only all staff approached their work with this sort of attitude, life would be great! An absolute gold star and ten out of ten experience - and excellent value too. I have used this company before this latest removal and will 100% use them again in the future.

House move from Twickenham to Windsor including some very large and heavy plants in pots in the front and rear gardens. ( Think 100kg each -- these were large mature plants in very big containers )

"I used a website tool to find potential removals companies and I Like to Move It Move it were one of the first to respond and immediately offered to visit my house to conduct a survey and prepare a firm price. The principle of the company came himself and he responded with a price quotation that day. I did receive other quotes and, pretty much, for the first time, I actually chose the cheapest quote which was I like to Move it Move it. The reason I chose them was the fact that I had dealt with the owner of the company, to me, this has a value as it helps me to form an impression of who I would be dealing with ultimately in the event that things go wrong ( but they did not ).
On the day, a team of three guys turned up, I am not going to name them mainly because I can't remember one name and it would be unfair. But, all three we helpful, hard working and took care of my possessions and took care of the house I was moving from, as well as the house I was moving into. Equally important, they had great attitude and were really helpful all day, even towards the end of a long and tiring day. All in all, this was a good experience for me and represented good value for money. Just one final point, they did not ask me to submit this review, I offered and they sent me the link. I rarely review, but I was genuinely pleased at the combination of service and price this time."

Full pack and move of entire flat for 2 people

"We had to pack our entire life of 8 years in a 2 bed 2 bath flat to our new house. The packers came the day before and did a fantastic job. The next day the move was absolutely seemless. The 2 guys that did the move were brilliant, putting all the labelled boxes in whatever rooms we wanted. Definitely recommend, a 5 Star service."
