Moving from a period property where we had lived for 40 years to a modern bungalow. The move also involved taking some items to my daughter and some to the tip. The big lorry could not get into the drive so this made the move more complicated for the team.

Move from substantial 5 bed house including piano, gym equipment, table tennis and football tables on top of the usual expectations with furniture/ electricals etc. We also required a lot of pictures crockery/glass ware packing.

Downsized from large house to much smaller one where existing furniture was too large. 45 years of stuff mainly had to be moved then recycled by Clarks.

"Needed much advice from Clarks as I was moving on my own in relatively poor health. Staff responded well to changes of mind, remaining efficient and cheerful at all times. Probably not the cheapest firm but would definitely recommend clarks. "

Big move - Buckinghamshire to Dorset over 2 days.
Lots of heavy items/awkward shapes. Property we moved into was on a tight road with a single drive, which made life a bit difficult.

I was moving two hundred miles north and the move was planned to take 3 days. The house contents included a large number of books so the men had to lift very heavy boxes.

"I obtained three quotes and Clarks was the cheapest by a small amount. However they were the only company prepared to make the move on my chosen days. The 'men' were all highly professional, yet friendly with a kind reassuring manner. The house contents were all packed with extreme care and delivered to the correct rooms in the 'new' house. "

Move was local. Pouring rain, one van had a puncture by Boot and slipper, the garage was flooded when we arrived.

The team were helpful throughout. They were incredibly tolerant of my indecision over where to put furniture and went above and beyond to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.
They even put up with care grey tea and no milk sorry for that!"
