Our move went extremely smoothly, everything was well packed and labelled. The men worked so hard and were very polite and helpful both with the packing and unpacking at our new home. We did not have any breakages or damage

"From first meeting Martin we were extremely impressed with the professional service he and his staff provided. Everything was explained thoroughly for the timetable of the move, what would happen, how everything would be packed and labelled and what would happen at every stage.
The lorries arrived promptly, the staff were polite and professional, they marked each box clearly with the contents so that when we arrived at the new house we just had to say which room related to the boxes. We decided to unpack ourselves and were delighted that there were no breakages particularly to all the glassware we had and no damage to any furniture or art work.
The men were polite and tidy and were so patient when we realised a box had been put on the lorry in error (our mistake) and found it straight away.
Once we had unpacked all the packaging was collected promptly."

A reasonable sized moved from a 4 bed house, plus garage stuff, in South London down to the Hampshire coast

"We have used Harradines for our last 2 moves (9 years apart) and have been very happy with them from start to finish.

The removal teams were friendly and efficient at both ends of the move, and the office organisation was great both from their recommended move schedule and information, to helping us manage the move date as exchange and completion dates were late running. I would be happy to recommend them."

We moved from our own house in to a rental property.

"The company from start to finish were very good.
The removal guys on the day came in dismantled the furniture and wrapped it all up .
When we got to new property they unloaded un wrapped and reassembled the furniture with no problems.
They cleared all the wrapping and boxes .
The guys were all chatty and a great bunch of people.

We moved from East Dulwich to Surbiton.

"Harradines were absolutely superb and we can't recommend them highly enough - they took huge amounts of stress out of the packing and moving process.
Martin (who was friendly, professional and reassuring) gave us a detailed quote after conducting a video tour of our house to assess what how much we had to pack and move.
The packers who came the day before the move were incredible - they moved like lightening but also took great care with our things. The next day they came back to load the lorry and we even went out for a coffee while they loaded as we were more hindrance than help.
The Harradines team worked efficiently at the other end to unload and throughout the whole moving process everyone was friendly, responsive and polite. We couldn't be happier than we asked Harradines to help with our move. It was worth every penny. Thank you Harradines!"

Only a domestic move but as Harridines explained to myself that with all my possessions it’s more like a commercial move requiring 4 removal staff and an 18 ton lorry. Never did I think it would all go in one lorry but they were spot on with their calculations and proved me wrong. 🤣

"So glad I chose Harradines to help me move, a great team who are very experienced and helpful (all staff members including office) I cannot thank you all for your help and care for all my possessions including my 3 motorbikes that you kindly moved as well.

Moving the contents of a 4 bedroom semi detached house. Harradines packed the mattresses, dismantled the beds, wardrobe and table. Also moved several plant pots from the garden.

I moved a mile from a large Victorian terrace to a smaller more modern house. I''d lived in the old house for over 30 years, and in spite of much clearing and sorting there was a lot still to pack and move, including a (smaller)van load of paintings to go into storage for a couple of months. A small army from Harradines packed everything in 2 days (other than overnight essentials),very efficiently, speedily and carefully, and took all the wrapped paintings to storage. On move day itself, they left the house and garden tidy and clear of all wrapping material etc. There was a unexpected situation at the new house, which they dealt with professionally, courteously and helpfully. They brought the furniture the following day, installing the washing machine and dishwasher. A few weeks later one of their people collected the huge pile of flattened and emptied boxes. Harradines made the whole process as easy as possible, including cheerfully bearing with the uncertain period before dates were finalised. They were calm, flexible, communicative and always courteous. Nothing got broken, nothing got lost and I had complete peace of mind.

"Harradines were transparent and communicative from the start, so I had a clear idea of how much work was involved and what the costs would be. I knew it was an unusual move in some ways - not very far, but with a lot of artwork, most of which I wanted to go into storage (which Harradine's provided) for a while. Uncertainty on the part of my sellers/buyers meant we had to look at different options - Harradines provided alternative quotes. They helped me think about things like parking permits, overnight essentials and what I needed for last minute cleaning.
On the four packing/moving days, all the men were cheerful, helpful, courteous, and bewilderingly efficient. Boxes were all labelled as to room of origin, and, where relevant, fragility/weight/special contents. The dishwasher and washing machine were disconnected and reconnected. At the new house, they dealt with an unexpected situation in a way that helped resolve it quickly. All the boxes went to the right rooms. Nothing got broken or lost. Actually moving really was the least stressful part of the whole selling-buying shebang.

We moved from a 2nd floor flat with no lift, to a house. We used the full pack & move service, so all our belongings were wrapped & packed by the removers as well as doing the physical move.

"We had an excellent experience with Harradines from start to finish. As with many moves our exchange and completion dates were difficult to pin down until very late in the process but we found the administration & bookings team super helpful and very willing to come up with imaginative ways of accommodating our dates during what has obviously been a very busy time for removal companies - they went the extra mile and were great with communication and updating us on their availability. We used their comprehensive packing and moving service and that was definitely worth the extra money - the packers worked swiftly (much quicker than we ever could!) and made sure everything was wrapped & boxed up securely. The removals team were also excellent and were polite and efficient throughout. We definitely would recommend Harradines to others!"

"It was very stressful trying to arrange a big move across the country in the midst of the pressure from the stamp duty deadline. Harradines were very helpful and clear about what could be booked and the need for confirmation to hold a booking. They did an online survey over WhatsApp so were well prepared for the amount of stuff we had to move. Their guys were very friendly, professional and hardworking and creative when finding a way to get our bed upstairs. They really made it all go very smoothly, such a relief!"

"Can’t rate Harradines highly enough! The quotation survey was thorough and I honestly felt like they were fully assessing the situation and putting my mind at ease by talking me through the whole process- not just trying to ‘sell’ to me. Their booking and correspondence was flexible, friendly and efficient- they understood that sometimes dates would change and were accommodating. The team I had on the day were so efficient, polite, friendly and delivered all my possessions safely and left it all ready for me to use. Every member of the team I corresponding with or interacted with from start to finish really impressed me. I honestly feel that they understood that whilst this is a service that they can run like clock work (which they definitely did), it was something that was stressful and unusual to me and helped my moving day be stress free so I could look forward to being my new home rather than stressing the whole day! "Fantastic service again by Harradines (second time I have used them). Charges all explained very clearly, as was the service. Removal of self-packed goods and furniture from 3 bed house to new home within a mile

"Excellent service from Martin, Lila and Domenica in the office and the four-man removals crew on the day. Good quality boxes and packing materials included in the cost. The move went very well although the crew were unable to get our large sofa into the sitting room. They tried everything including removing the door and trying a tricky manoeuvre over the hall banisters - but to no avail. Our fault for not measuring properly!
We would not hesitate to recommend Harradines - they were brilliant.

Martin and the Harradines team worked with me at very short notice to manage a large house load (requiring 4 large trucks). In view of the shortness of time, we packed everything ourselves, and the team removed it from one house to the other. The move was done in record time with a team of eight movers. I am very grateful for the support the team gave us.

"We had to arrange a move at short notice, and given the timing of the move (end of the Summer school holidays) there were very few options for us regarding the day we could move.

Martin was superb in moving his team's schedules to accommodate us on a Saturday.

We packed the whole house and a team of 8 movers removed all our gear (in 4 trucks) to the new location. It was done in record time - a combination of our family being well organised and ready for the movers, and the removal team similarly being very well organised.

I am very grateful for the support Martin and his team gave us in what has a very challenging time.

The team were professional, courteous, helpful and caring. I highly recommend them to anyone who is moving house."
