Moving locally from modern property to an old quirky property. Low doors and ceilings presented a real challenge but the guys from Palmers just took it all in their stride !

"Moving to a larger property locally Palmers Removals had been recommended to us.
From the first contact it was clear they were professional and cared as much about the moving details as we did.The assessment visit was friendly and thorough and handled all aspects of the move.Great respect was shown to unusual items for wrapping and as we decided to pack ourselves a very clear outline of what that entailed was provided.On move day the team were wonderful,working tirelessly with nothing too much trouble for them.Having moved many times and plus internationally, I thought the total service was outstanding and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.Thank you to all involved for such an effortlessly brilliant service !"

This was a complicated move, from one property in Eton to a family home and office in Marlborough and also to a flat in High Wycombe.

"Very efficient and clear communication throughout.
Movers on the day were polite, good-humoured, punctual and efficient.
An early start to packing (Fri prior to the previously arranged Mon) meant that a one day pack was possible, and that other aspects of the move could then proceed swiftly.
Otherwise, there wasn’t a great deal of flexibility, but this was a very busy time, owing to the stamp duty holiday."

The move was in two stages a fortnight apart. First stage was all garden effects and plants in very large containers and included some antique planters and ornaments.

"The 2 stages were handled very professionally at both ends.
With the garden effects there was no damage which was amazing giving how heavy and fragile some items were.
The second stage 'house & garage move' included fragile packing. It was carried out in a very organised manner and all the boxes that were packed by Palmers were clearly labelled. This made it much easier at the delivery end as boxes were put swiftly into the right rooms.
Furniture was disassembled, labelled and reassembled by the movers which was a great help. The move included some very large antique armoires, mirrors and pieces of heavy furniture. These were handled with care and expertly packed where appropriate.
Nothing was too much trouble and the guys were always polite and courteous.
As we were moving within Covid 19 limitations the packers always observed the required distancing rules.
The delivery end of the move was on time for both stages and even though we couldn't access the new house for a couple of hours, the packers remained patient and good humoured."

Our move was from a large semi in Berkshire to a bungalow in a narrow country lane with a very tight entrance in West Somerset. Our effects had to into storage with Palmers for 25 days. The move in took place over two days with the guys sleeping in their vehicles overnight.

"Our move was from a large semi in Berkshire to West Somerset. Palmers were not the cheapest but they were very competitive on price. From the outset they were highly professional and gave confidence - from Mike Selwood who visited our house to quote to the polite and helpful office staff. Because we could not achieve completion on both properties on the same day we needed to put our effects into storage for 25 days and we liked the service Palmers offered here. The move from our house was very smooth and the removal team were polite helpful and efficient. The move into our new property was more challenging i.e. we live in a narrow country lane with a very tight entrance. The two guys managed this well after a few tries and again brought our effects in very efficiently. Again they were very polite and pleasant people. All in all we were very happy with the service."

Moved from a very small and compact flat to a much larger flat.

"From the initial phone call to the company to the visit to assess costs the service was superb.

The removal men worked effortlessly and tirelessly doing a fantastic job. When they arrived at my new place, again super efficient and very fast in doing an excellent job. I have a lot of crystal ware, which was superbly packaged avoiding any breakages whatsoever. We recently moved and were so lucky to select Palmers of Windsor. In addition to the stress of moving we are facing some difficult family circumstances and needed to select a company who would be reliable, professional and provide a stress free service.

"The initial visit was extremely professional, totally reassuring that the level of work involved was not an issue, that their teams were fully employed members of staff, provided helpful hints and tips and resulted in a speedy and reasonable quote.
Whilst completiong dates were being confirmed the head office staff were as accommodating and supportive as they could be.
The work was completed over two days. The teams on both days were absolutely fantastic. They were prompt, efficient and filled us with confidence. We had a few challenges on arriving at the new house, but they worked with my husband to get everything safely in! I really cannot recommend them highly enough."

Moving from 5 bedroom detached house to 4 bedroom house 15 miles away. Both sites have easy parking.

"We had dealt with the firm before - for a shipment to Australia and found them informative, reliable and efficient.

For this move packing involved large numbers of books, pictures, files and oddly shaped items.

Packing took the first (8 hour) day and 5 hours on the second day.
Delivery took from 1 pm to 7 pm on the second day.

Three men did the work - consistently cheerful, courteous and helpful

We asked Palmers to move our household contents from London to Manchester on the 23rd of July this year, which included some bulky furniture items as well as all our clothes and collectables.

"This move was the best experience we have had in the UK. Palmers was really helpful and accommodating in enabling us to move on the date we needed and the whole process was carefully explained.

The team on the day was exceptional and expertly packed our home in record time.

The care they took in making sure we were happy with everything is recommendable.

The two guys that drove the van to Manchester and unpacked for us, worked like Trojans. They struggles fearlessly to get some of our more bulky furniture safely into the house and made sure we knew where every box was.

The attention to detail and commitment from the whole team has to make Palmers one of the best I have come across.

Well done to Palmers - truly an exceptional operation

Move from a big 3-storey house to a smaller cottage one. A lot of big furniture to negotiate into smaller rooms.

"They were excellent from start to finish. Mike came to do a comprehensive and informed survey which was followed by a prompt and informative quotation. They delivered some boxes beforehand so we could do a bit of sorting and packing.
On the day, the guys arrived promptly and knew their business. They worked like Trojans throughout the day, were very careful with our possessions and cleared rooms efficiently, each knowing his own role. It was a monumental achievement to get us out in two days without a single breakage or bit of damage. They were utterly professional, taking apart and reassembling some big furniture, and we were quickly reassured that we were in safe hands. Would definitely recommend - it made moving as painless as it possibly could be."

Moving from a house with no off-street parking in the Cookham area to one with a very tight staircase in Eton Wick was a challenge, but one met with great persistence by the team from Palmers.

"The team from Palmers tackled all issues that faced them with humour and determination; despite the lack of off-street parking, the company liaised with the Council way in advance to reserve enough space out side my removals address.

My move went smoothly and I was extremely happy with the service, from the packing the day before to the actual removals the following one. The bed provided a few worrying moments at the new property, but the team eventually succeeded and I had something to sleep on after all that evening.

Standard move within the local area. Full packing service included. We moved the day after a bank holiday which made the process a bit more complex but we were helped greatly by the moving company in terms of preparation and schedule.

"Palmers of Windsor/Wilkinsons of Henley were personally recommended and had availability for the date that we needed. The office were really helpful in explaining the process and got all the required paperwork with ts and cs over to us in plenty of time.
Because we were moving after a bank holiday weekend and were using the full packing service, 75% of the packing was done on the Friday before the move and the remainder on the day. The guys turned up promptly on the Friday and were amazing. They explained what would be best to keep over the weekend and asked me to put aside what I needed while they started packing. They were so helpful and got a huge amount done on the Friday. We had the same experience on the Tuesday. Our house was packed up and ready to go by lunchtime. I would highly recommend the full packing service. Nothing was broken, damaged or lost in our move. The boxes were labelled up perfectly, down to me being able to find 'kitchen stem glasses' for the much needed glass of champagne later on! Everything was put into the right rooms and there was nothing I didn't/couldn't find. Even the conundrum of how to get the trampoline in the back garden without access wasn't a problem (they took it over the fence!). Our beds were all up and made before they left, all bedding, cushions and curtains carefully packed into protective bags and clothes/drawers moved directly into storage holders. They even took the time to ensure that any plastic bags being left over the weekend were put out of reach, knowing that we had children in the house. I can't recommend this company and their employees highly enough. The stress of not packing and moving was worth every single penny and we would never consider moving ourselves again."

"Palmers were excellent and in particular the moving crew we had. They were careful and courteous and packed our items extremely well and in good time.
