Move of our town house to our village town house with all the usual goods plus a complex digital hybrid piano and a large heavy garden statue.

"Surrey Hills Removals moved us three years ago and they were so good we didn’t get quotes from anyone else when we moved just recently. We requested Grant as the foreman who was our foreman before and it was brilliant to have him, Josh who helped us before and the rest of the team.

Nothing was too much trouble for the team: even dismantling and removing my complex hybrid digital piano and moving Mabel our massive cast iron garden pig. They were good humoured, friendly, tidy, efficient, careful.

They were moving us into our house that was still having the last stage of the renovation done, and the team worked carefully around our decorators.

A stunningly good move. My wife and I would never go anywhere else for removals."

Move from semi detached to detached property. Lots of stuff

"Fantastic experience! Super punctual, helpful, polite. They looked after our new decorating and carpets. Building of furniture was really good. All round very happy and would use you again or recommend to a friend.

One small glass candle holder broke when I removed it from packaging but I think that was my bad unpacking probably!

My wife and I used Surrey Hills Removals for our downsizing project. We sold our house (a barn conversion in Worplesdon) in December 2025. We put our furniture etc into storage with Surrey Hills. We then looked for a suitable apartment to buy close to Guildford town centre. We found the ideal property and, as a cashed-up buyer with no property to sell, were able to complete a deal. We moved in in mid-February 2026.

"Surrey Hills Removals Ltd was so easy to deal with. They provided very comprehensive information at every stage. When you telephone them a real person answers your call quickly- imagine that!

The move went like clockwork at both ends. The lovely removal team were so helpful and carried out the move with patience, kindness and humour.

When I changed mind about a piece of furniture they had put upstairs -they carried it back downstairs. We have moved 6 times over the years and this has been the easiest. Everything so well packed including paintings, glassware, and wedgewood bone china and no damage or breakages."

Large 4/5 bedroom house into a five bed rental nearby. Over three days, Lewis, Andy, and Mike were fantastic. Very professional and went above and beyond. Will definitely use again.

"We’ve had several moves over the years including transatlantic and this was one of the best and easiest moves we’ve had. We had lived in our house for almost 12 years and moved into rental accommodation closeby. Our movers were very flexible and helpful with the best way to organise everything - we managed to move/store/donate within three days with no issues. Smaller trucks and a couple of runs the first days and then finishing up on day three. Surrey Hills were professional, efficient and thoughtful of us and went the extra bit further with handling our things - even with lots of stairs on both ends!"

Moved from a house with a loft bedroom tight space and hard to get the furniture down the stairs. 4 bedroom to a larger 4 bedroom house 5 mins away

"From the first conversation and quote to today when the removal boxes were picked up I could not fault the company. Everybody was friendly and professional. We had a full packing service which was brilliant and took the stress out of the move. We used the packing service spanning 3 days: day 1 pack and store in van; day 2 pack remaining items and take directly to new properly:’; day 3 hold items from day 1: day 4 return can from day 1.

"Can’t recommend Surrey Hills Removals highly enough. Not only were they excellent at their job job itself (careful packing, speedy & efficient) but they were really nice guys; friendly and helpful and just what is needed in a stressful and emotional situation. On two of the days, a couple of extra men turned up to help who were equally friendly and at no point did I feel rushed to make any decisions about my many boxes! Would absolutely use again.

We had the packing service, which extended across three days, including holding the bulk of our items for an extra 24 hours to allow us to clean the new properly.

Have also already had a return visit by another friendly helpful member of the team to take some boxes back."

"Surrey Hills Removals carried out a local move for us and provided a first class service. We opted for the packing service which was probably the best value for money option I have ever purchased. Lee and his team were hardworking, efficient, friendly and very helpful throughout the 3 day move. They dismantled (and reassembled) furniture and included moving an upright piano with no fuss at all. Following exchange of contracts a previous removal firm informed me they were unable to proceed with the removal. Surrey Hills seemed by far the best available option all be it at a significently higher price.

"Everything that needed to be done was done. No problems I can remember.
Particularly impressed with the before day removal of most items to the warehouse. Really takes off the pressure. Movers were always polite, diligent and professional. I was fortunate to find them 10 days before completion having been let done by another removal firm.
Maybe this was reflected in price quoted and accepted.
Apart from the general furniture items not to be boxed and some packing of fragiles everything else was already boxed up and ready so I think the price was high but at the end of the day the job was done. Reputation and reliability costs. So overall I was happy.
