Downsizing to move all our goods from our married home to a smaller retirement flat, we needed to clear everything, whether to our onward destination, or for disposal -- leaving the flat pristine. All within a tight time frame of consecutive days and involving third parties such as my stepchildren and the estate agent selling the property and Freecycle customers. This added complexity to what was already as challenging as house moves ever are.

Moved with Surrey Hills again, having moved from our home into a rental property until we could complete. Rather complicated and Surrey Hills were incredibly accommodating, professional, flexible, understanding of our situation.

The move was well planned and mutually agreed . The lead time between our exchange and completion was short but Surrey Hills went the extra mile in accommodating us in the run up to Xmas . We were moving from one large 5 bedroom house to another. The whole experience was hugely customer centric with a high degree of customer care and a ‘can do’ mentality. Those we worked with both in the office but on the ground were without a doubt a high performing team . They clearly have a great internal culture and understand the customer journey.

This was a move from a house to a third floor flat. It was mainly bulky items like beds, fridge-freezers, etc.

We moved in August 2023 into temporary accommodation for 3 weeks and then into our new home. 4 months later we requested storeage for approximately 40 % of our belongings to go back into storage whilst we extended our house. We have just now got those items back out of storeage.
