"The whole process was carried out professional with care and skill.
We were consulted and kept informed at every stage

We had contact with the removers used by our house buyer and their poor attitude and lack of care contrasted significantly to the service we received from Richardson's.

We particularity liked the standards of packing and the way you dealt with specialist items.

In terms of improvement, we did fell a little rushed (It was Friday afternoon) during emptying in making sure everthing was put in the right place"

Richardson’s moved my mum & I from Darlington to 2 different addresses in Bath. The first visit they checked all the items to be transferred & packing needs. As I have some very delicate items, this visit was very reassuring.

"On the packing day, 3 strong men, packaged the items very thoroughly & were careful with all the items. They were thorough, efficient & careful throughout. On the moving date, they were punctual & removed the final items.

On arrival in Bath, they unloaded at the first address, with efficiency & were accurate with all the items they offloaded to the first address. The next day, items were delivered at a fast pace, with care & consideration.

Both Tom & Sash used all their strength & ingenuity to move all the sculptures & a large table, through a window. They were both great, personable & strong.

The service was very professional, consideration taken to all of the items transported (I had sculptures), efficient & thorough. All the men involved from packing, transport & delivery were fantastic & careful of all the items being transported.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone moving any household/gardening/fragile items."

Moved from North Yorkshire up to Scotland, everything had to go into storage until the house purchase went through.

"Very professional service from start to finish. The removal team were very prompt and thorough in moving everything in to storage and then moving all of my items up to Scotland when the house purchase went through.

Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and knowledgeable. I shopped around for removals and found that Richardson's were the company who made me feel most at ease about what can be a very stressful process.

On moving in day the team arrived a little ahead of schedule which must have been an early start for them but that did not phase them, not even the Scottish rain put them off."

"We’ve moved quite a lot of times and there’s always been a problem; companies have been slow, prices have been obscured or inflated, items have been damaged, removers have been late. But Richardsons has been outstanding from start to finish.

There is nothing that could be improved. Communication, customer service, time keeping, all exemplary. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They might not be the cheapest but without doubt, they’re the best value given the service you get."

A move from the North East to Derbyshire, with 50% of items going into store and the other 50% onwards to our new home.

"From start to finish the whole process was clearly explained and excellent guidance/advice given.

The move itself was great, the lads took great care in both the load and unload. Protecting the fabric of the house and belongings. They had all the kit and materials to do the job properly.

The lads worked very hard to carefully complete the pack in a single day; which made our arrangements much easier to plan.

I can't fault any aspect of the process and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone."

Move from 4 semi to 5 bed detached. Not too far in distance but lots to move as lived in current address for 20 years, 2 adults and 2 kids.

"We had not moved in 20 years and Richardson's made the move process as easy as possible, taking the pressure off us after 5 months of stress with the legal sale/purchase process. Their packing service was also excellent as well as the fact that they came 2 days in advance to take away none essential items. Our move was done over a few days. Most items out on a Thursday, with minimal furniture left overnight - a bed, and chairs and lamps, crockery/cutlery. The next day (day of Completion), the minimal contents were delivered to the new house. On the Monday, the rest of the house contents arrived. We found that this worked well for us. We were comfortable enough over the weekend, and it gave us time to clean through, and consider exact positions for our furniture.

"We have done a LOT of house moving, with different removal companies. We found Richardsons excellent. Definitely the best we have used.

The little things, like covers over bannister rails and doors, and all soft furnishings wrapped in covers. We had opted for them to pack our quite large art collection, and they did a wonderful job. It was then unpacked in the new house on arrival to check for any damage.

The guys working for them were pleasant, willing, yet unobtrusive. Nothing was a bother to them.

We used Richardsons recently for the second time ( a complement in itself) as we were so satisfied with the service.

"As we are elderly , moving is a big deal for us as we are not as active as before.

The removers were so efficient , friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They put coverings on the floors, stairs and all the furniture which might have been vulnerable in a move.
All my pictures ( which are so precious to me) were treated with the utmost care and respect , and the men did not leave our new house until assured we were happy with everything.

We thought the charge was reasonable for such an excellent service.

Downsizing from 5 to 3 bedroom house. Not a straight forward move with several delays and uncertainty in the chain.

"Richardsons provided and extremely professional, timely and efficient service during my move. There were several delays and when others were not communicating effectively and causing uncertainty, Richardsons were the steadying factor providing reassurance and clarity. The removal was well organised with some belongings being collected a day ahead of the move. The guys were friendly and helpful and everything was packed efficiently and carefully. Move day went smoothly until solicitors failed to deliver and completion was pushed back a day. Richardsons were supportive and kept my belongings safe overnight and patiently waited for completion the next day. Unloading was incredibly good with beds being rebuilt, TVs checked and all boxes ending up in the right place. I cannot recommend them enough, their service was excellent and well worth the money."

Move of furniture and belongings from one house to another house. This included moving a pottery wheel and a number of original artworks.

"I was very happy with my experience with Richardson’s Removals. From the start it was easy to communicate with Josh and Ali and they were always quick to get back to me. As my original move location changed they were very accommodating of these changes.
The guys who carried out the move were all very helpful and friendly and took great care of my possessions, especially the original artworks that have great sentimental value to me.
Due to an unforeseen situation with my letting agent I was unable to gain access to my new property until late afternoon but Richardson’s went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed for the few days until the rest of my possessions could be moved in, bringing extra staff and staying later than usual to finish."
