Domestic house move.

"Todds arrived on time. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful.
Due to delays out of my control, access to my new address was delayed however staff were patient and understanding. My belongings were successfully located in requested rooms.

The whole service from quote, admin, phone calls and the actual moving of my belongings was excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending.

The move by Todds was a major one for us, especially as we left a relatively large house for a smaller home. The move was planned over 4 days, as we had requested a full packing of all our possessions. Day 1 involved the team (up to 5 individuals) packing, starting each day punctually at 8am. Day 2 saw more packing and some loading of the lorries. Day 3 was completion day, so a final hectic clearing of the house, so we moved out mid-morning. We had to wait for the others in the chain to complete their formalities, eventually getting the keys of our new property at around 2.30 pm The unloading was swift and efficient, keeping us on our toes directing where all the boxes and furniture should go, also the outside tools, seats and ornaments in the small garden. Day 4 saw the remaining boxes unpacked.

"It was a challenging move for us (in our eighties) as we were downsizing to a smaller property. All the packing was done by the team efficiently and with great care, as we had some large antique furniture, as well as many china and glass items. We discovered how well they had been packed when we gradually unpacked the (250?) boxes in our new home. The planned timing worked out well with the team packing, loading and unloading with care and speed. The team labelled all the boxes clearly which has proved very helpful during the unpacking process.

It was a major and tiring challenge for us, but we felt entirely justified in appointing Todds for our house move.

In August 2024 Todds moved us out of our previous address with great efficiency and courtesy. They had our furniture in storage for 18 months whilst a total renovation was done on a new property.

"When our furniture came out of storage in February 2026 and when they delivered it to our new address it was all in immaculate condition. The guys who moved us into our new property were friendly and efficient and nothing was damaged. Would recommend Todds to anyone moving house."

I moved from my previous home before my next property was ready. Todd removals collected my belongings and kept them in storage for about 4 months before moving them into my new home.

"They arrived on time and took great care of my belongings. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to do everthing with such ease which just took the stress out of moving. My belongings which were in storage were well stored and looked after.

The delivery of my belonging to my new home went stress free aswell. It made the whole process a positive experience and I would definately use their services again and would be happy to recommend them to friends or family"

We moved from a large 4 bedroomed Victorian house on the 6/1/26 and were moved 10 mins away. The team arrived with 2 large vans as we had a large amount of items from a garage and 2 sheds.

"We would recommend Todd’s Removals very very highly. From booking their services to when the van finally pulled away on the day of the move, it was smooth and very professional. We were provided with plenty of packing material. The team of 4 guys were so helpful and quick. They fully understood what a stressful time it is for the customer. They didn’t leave until they were satisfied we were happy and everything was in the place we wanted it.
They were a terrific team - Thankyou. We wouldn’t want to use anyone else ever - Thankyou Todd’s."

My move was over 3 days. Day before move outside furniture was collected and stored until the day after move. Day of move, contents of the house was collected and delivered to new address. Day 3 , outside was delivered. My move was complete.

"I was very pleased with the service I got from Todd’s Removals. They worked very efficiently and did not complain even though I did not get my keys till 4.45pm which meant they did not finish unloading in the dark & rain till 7pm . The whole team was cheerful and helpful."

Short 4 mile move, made difficult with exchange lateness and uncompromising move date. relatively straight forward in terms of items to be moved.

"Very prompt, polite and informative with the quote, detailing/explaining the problems of late exchanges on us and them. We found our quote being both reasonable and competitive along with the other reviews found it an easy choice to use this company. Despite the difficulty of the moving chain not agreeable to a different date Todds still accommodated us over a two day period. Keeping in touch to see where they could help even though the moving date shifted.
Gary and his two colleagues took great care the day before to move pretty much all of our home quickly and efficiently to be held overnight. He ensured he knew the new address and evaluated the position and access the day before the move to insure an ease of entry. the day of the move both loaded lorry and the additional turned up prompt and executed the rest of our belongs and set off to see what they could do prior to key completion. Gary made the effort to give me his contact details and to inform the new neighbours which was very helpful. Fortunately our keys were released by 1 o'clock and the guys swiftly moved us in."

Quick to quote which was great. Arrived later than expected but there was no chain so it wasn''t an issue. But would have scored 10 if on time.

Was a bit pricey considering it only to a couple of hours.
