Very helpful. Very friendly. Helped take down heavy items and wrap them. All staff very quick and efficient

"Very accommodating helpful and friendly person came to give an estimate. Received estimate quickly. Answered emails quickly. We hadn’t moved in over 20 years and ate getting on in life. So would forget due to stress answers and they always got back to us really quickly. Didn’t get the first date we way but were offered several other dates which worked for us. We packed up most of our belongings. But the company used Tv bags and mirror bags to wrap these items. On the day of the move. Carpets were covered. Stairs were covered and everything was quickly and efficiently moved. No damage to any items. All were put in positions we had asked for in our new house. They even put a child’s bed back together again along with ours at no extra cost."

Moved my mother from her 3 bed house ( with loads of steps)to a retirement flat.

"Our move was a bit tricky and dates kept changing. R&j kept putting my mind at rest advising they can work round us due to it being a small ish job.
On the day they arrived on time, they both worked really hard not once complaining about the amount of steps leading to the front door and the 3 stories of house.
Everything was packed by 10am and advised me to call them when we get the keys.
There was a delay with getting the keys but again they were both amazing and told me not to worry.
When we finally gained access I called them and they arrived with in minutes.
Slight delay unpacking as someone accidentally set the fire alarm off (me🙈)so the lift wasnt working and the fire brigade was due!!
The guys took this really well and I enjoyed the banter with them when I was absolutely mortified with my accidental actions.
Mum's flat was quickly filled with her belongings and nothing was lost or broken.
Because of their quick work we were able to move my elderly mother in without too much disruption/ stress.
Thank you so so much, I wish I had known about you when we moved last year as these guys were rubbish"

We have used this Company 3 times and each time they have gone over and above, going that extra mile to help. From initial contact to the end of the move the service has been outstanding and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

"From initial contact Dave was very courteous, helpful and polite.
Dave and Matt arrived on time as agreed to provide a quotation as we were moving a long way away.
On the day of the move they arrived at 8am and were fully loaded by 11am. The team work well together, quick, respectful of your stuff and very efficient.
When we arrived at the new house there was a delay on moving in which was nothing to do with the removal company but the Team were patient kind and supportive.
Outstanding service and it’s great to be able to give this feedback. Well done and thank you so much.

Our move wasn''t straightforward as our buyer''s solicitors experienced a cyber-attack, which meant that they could not transfer the money to our solicitor until they managed to find a work-around for their payments stystem. This meant that everyone in our chain was left in limbo for over 30 hours - we''d all moved out of our properties and our possessions were in removal vans until the money was able to move up the chain.

"R&J Removals were absolutely amazing! From the valuation stage, through to the packing service and then the move itsef, everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. Our move was delayed by over 30 hours after our possessions had been packed, due to a cyber-attack on our buyers' solicitors. However, the removal team (Rob, Dane, Adam) remained cheerful and kept us informed of additional costs (which were met by the solicitors causing the delay).

I can't recommend this firm enough - they were a pleasure to deal with ever in extremely testing and challenging circumstances."

We required a move from a 4 bed semi to a 4 bed detached around a mile apart.

"Great service from Dave and his team. We were given a very competitive quote compared to other quotes received and we felt R & J Removals were the most professional. On the move day the van arrived just before 8am and the contents of our home were carefully loaded. Care was given to cover all our floors and protective covers put on the mattresses and sofas. Every item was delivered to our new home safely. If you want great service look no further than R & J Removals. We would recommend without hesitation."

We booked R&J Removals on recommendation from a friend.

"Professional, efficient, polite, quick, careful, on time. They were absolutely professional polite efficient quick and on time. Our house move was suppose to complete on the day we were moving, but unfortunately that didn't happen,the removers had loaded up and ready to go to our new address when we were told we would not complete until the next day, we were at our wits end, but R&J came to our rescue and said they could reschedule things and fit us in the next afternoon. We don't know what we would have done as we would not be able to find another removal company at such short notice. All of the removers were so pleasant and careful with our belongings putting everything in the correct places. We highly recommend this company for a house move."

You moved my 90 year old mother in law from her flat in Bristol to an assisted living flat. Her first move for 27 years so it was an emotional move and there was a lot of things to pack!

"We contacted R&J Removals to move our 90 year old mum from her private flat to an assisted living facility about 2 miles away.

We decided to contact them as we used them to move us from Bristol to Cornwall 5 years ago and they did a great job.

I arranged Dave to visit mum and he arrived on the day and time agreed. He then called us later that day with a quote which was followed up in writing. I had a few questions which were immediately. I also asked for the packer to arrive a little later than usual to allow mum to get ready and for us to arrive from Cornwall. All agreed to without any fuss.

Scott arrived and packed the flat in about 4 hours. Everything was well packed and no breakages.

On move day, the old flat was emptied in super-quick time and delivered and unloaded within a few hours. Once finished, they asked if any furniture needed moving.

Brilliant service from start to finish especially as parking the van was not easy at the old flat."

We were moving out of a three storey town house with a difficult curved staircase.

"Our wardrobes had to be dismantled & rebuilt, our large sofa had to be moved out of the window on the first floor. The staircase restricted the movement of the removal men up and down between the floors, especially when moving the packed boxes. We had asked them to pack & box all our stuff, they labelled all the boxes so we could broadly know what each contained. However I wanted to unpack these boxes myself so I was involved with locating these full boxes on arrival and broadly I could identify the sequence or doing this. We were downsizing and the removal men were helpful when unloading into our new apartment especially ensuring we had beds for sleeping during and immediately after we had moved. My husband had not been well and we both needed somewhere where we could sit at times and they ensured that this happened for most of the move

We have used this firm twice, initially 6years ago and then recently. Both times the the man assessing the move and providing the quote for the cost of the move answered all my questions, discussed any particular concerns we had and agreed solutions. During the move they provided an efficient effective service, the removal men worked hard with a friendly cheerful manner. They were helpful solving the problems that inevitably arise over three day move from a three storey house to a smaller apartment. We recommended them before to family & friends and we would recommend them again."

We moved from England to Scotland which took R&J Removals 3 days. 1st day to pack up and drive 3/4 of the way up. 2nd day drive remaining miles and then unpack the van. Then drive part way home. 3rd day drive remaining miles home.

"R&J Removals took the stress out of the move. They came in and packed up the van in just over 3 hours. When they arrived in Scotland at our new home they emptied the van in 4 hours.

The removal men were friendly and very helpful. The owner of the company came and helped empty the house.

There was no issues and no damage to our furniture. The did what they said they would.

I would recommend this company to anyone who is moving. They were also the cheapest of the 3 company's that we got a quote from."
