Move from 6 bed detached to 5 bed detached.

"The 4 men arrived at 8-15 am ,they were very efficient clearing from the top down .We had packed most things previously into boxes.
They also supplied 20 boxes the day before the move as requested.
We moved recently and Mr Hughes came and assessed and quoted for the move.
All the furniture was handled carefully and they were happy to explain what was happening all throughout the day.
By 12-45pm all was packed in 1 very large lorry and a smaller van.The garage was cleared and nothing was too much trouble ,they were all courteous and polite.
When we arrived at the new house they were waiting and I had rung ahead so they could get started and they were unpacking garage items until we had the keys to the house.
They put all the furniture where we wanted and even moved it into different rooms as my son changed his mind about which room he wanted!!
I was very satisfied with all aspects and no damage sustained at all .
Very efficient hard working men and excellent service.We moved from 6 to 5 bed detached house.
Prior to the move we were on holiday and the sales team were excellent and very understanding about the vagaries of the actual moving date.

Move from 2 bed semi-detached in Strensall to 3 bed semi-detached in Haxby.

"We had great service from Hughes both before and during the move. On the day of the move itself the guys were there bang on time and packed our possessions in the lorry quickly, safely and securely.

Once at the new house everything was unloaded safely and quickly with the minimum of fuss.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Hughes Removals to anyone, and will definitely use them again in the future if we are to move again."

The move was between two York addresses. We moved to downsize and had a lot of fragile items.

"Dear Hughes Removals

I just wanted to drop you a note to say a quick thank you for your assistance with our move. Bringing boxes, packing tape and wrapping paper to the house in advance was a massive help, and in addition, turning up on time and not damaging the properties helped with what is normally a stressful situation.

The guys who turned up were friendly, professional and very efficient. Customer focus is really important to me and your staff demonstrated all of these qualities in abundance. We would definitely recommend you to friends and family in the future.

Local move of home of about 18 miles

"Very pleased with Hughes Removals. Price included boxes, wrapping paper and tape. On the day van and guys arrived promptly and cracked on with loading. We seemed to have loads to load and reinforcements came to help to help fill the van and take a bit more away. Unloading went well and nothing big was damaged throughout.
All in all we were very pleased with the service.
