Velux window - jammed and not opening. Sorted out a very high-up Velux window in my mother''s annex that was jammed and would not open. (As it is the only window my mother can - normally, easily open, it was quite important to her to have it sorted. This was done very promptly (within 2.5 days of calling) and considerately, given my mother is elderly and has carers often in attendance.

They considerately tried to work around the times that my mother's carer visits and advised me in advance of when they would be arriving.

On arrival they proceeded to sort out a very high-up Velux window in my mother's annex that was jammed and would not open. (As it is the only window my mother can normally, easily open, it was quite important to her to have it sorted.)

This appeared to be done very efficiently, despite tall ladders being needed and they were also able to replace the control which they explained (and showed us) was also not working.

Overall, excellent and efficient service. Would definitely recommend!

"I decided that I needed to replace a Velux manual window (installed 1980) with a updated Electric Integra in my bungalow shower room. After making enquires with Velux within 1/2 hr received a phone call from AHL saying they had a engineer just finished working in my area and he would be able to visit. Whithin a short time he came_ gave me advice and a quotation.Very helpfull. Work completed on day arranged. In fact if it was not for a nice new window /no rubbish left/no mess/ you would not know he had been . 100% satisfied/fully recommended. Work taken place 31 Aug 2023Ahl roofing"

Doing quite extensive repairs to a tiled extension roof and taking out and replacing a very large Velux skylight which was in the same roof.

"Andy visited the property and was very helpful in explaining the different options that I could consider. He provided a detailed quote and he stuck to it despite the fact that there was more work involved than had been obvious when he gave me the quote.

On site he and his colleague worked incredibly hard and they did a really good job. I would recommend them without reservation."

Old 18th Century part of house roof refelted, battened and tiled.

"Andy surveyed and gave a price which was within my expectation from friends experience of reroofing.
The original anticipated start date was delayed due to weather and overruns, but we were kept informed regularly.
Work started within a day of scaffolding being erected and the team stayed on site until the job was finished (no running off to keep other jobs going).
The team were friendly, polite and professional.

Replacement roof and Velux windows. The work involved lifting the roof, installing insultation to roof and loft and replacing roofing felt and battens. Tiles replaced Where tiles were broken these were replaced. The Velux windows installed Leadwork to parapet walls. Guttering and other minor works, making good etc.

"Andy and his team did an excellent job on the roof. He dealt with all the minor little jobs without query. He and his team were a pleasure to work with. They worked hard and long hours. They enjoyed the tea and coffee provided. We cannot rate Andy and his team too highly."

Velux installation windows and blinds Re-roof, removal of wasp nests, installation of insulation, re-patching around chimney and ordering of new kit and anything that came up unexpectedly. Replacement of lead

"We have been very happy with the work described above. Andy and his team were excellent workers, courteous, on time, and helpful. Everything was well described and explained beforehand. They did a great job for us, kept within the terms agreed upon; Andy vacuumed at the end of the day's labours; all was left clean and ready for the next day. There was humour and fun between the team, and nothing was too much for them. Changes were agreed and acted on with speed and understanding.
We thank them all for doing such a fine job, and leaving us feeling that our house is in fine shape for the next twenty years or more, and will long outlive us!"

"AHL came and fitted a Velux in our kitchen. All through the process from the quote to the fitting, we were kept informed and the finished work was 1st class. We would highly recommend using AHL Roofing and would definitely use them again!!!

AHL replaced four old Velux windows with better insulated triple glazed units.

"Andy was friendly and helpful, explaining the options at the outset and scope of the work. He turned up on time, sheeted up as necessary and the first window was installed on day 1. Adverse weather got in the way at one point but Andy came with a mate on day 2 and all three remaining windows were completed during an extended day. Andy returned a day later to complete making good the window surrounds and replacing some broken roof tiles. We are very pleased with the result."

Remove leaking 16 year old velux window and replace with anew window. Making good all roof tiles and felt around the window.

"Andy took time to visit in person to carry out a survey of the work to be done. Fully explained what was to be done and it was great to hear he was a roofer by trade and not a window fitter. He turned up at the time agreed and did a fantastic job fitting the window and making good as much of the felt and tiles around the window as possible to ensure a secure and watertight fit. By his own admission it was a tricky window to replace which threw a lot of unexpected niggles at him to overcome. You could tell he really took pride in his work and the end result which as a customer is great to see. A nice guy.I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and I know when my other old Velux finally packs in I will be asking him back again to help me out."

Contacted AHL Roofing back in November as we had water leaking through the bathroom ceiling! I got the number when I contacted Norfolk age concern!

"I rang Andy late afternoon and he agreed to come the following morning! He came located the problem there & then! He made good a temporary repair but said we should consider having job put right at some point. We called him back a month later for a leak in another part of roof. We arrange for an estimate for both jobs to be done. A date was agreed.

Andy & his team came as expected. they completed the job as promised explaining what they had done, they were polite, friendly, cleaned up after themselves. We would highly recommend this company."

"Over the Christmas period I had a leak in my roof and after contacting AHL, Andy turned up 2 days later to give an inspection. Due to the freezing weather, he was unable to perform the inspection to the state he needed and arranged to come back on the Monday to try again. The second attempt was successful and that day I received the quote for the work and after accepting it a date was booked at my convenience 2 weeks later.

Andy and his colleague arrived on the agreed date and completed the work explaining why the leak had occurred the fix and also identified another issue with the chimney which they quoted to fix. The next day they came back to complete the final bits and tidy up any mess they had made. Once the part arrived to fix the chimney, they came back and performed the install needed.

I would whole heartedly recommend AHL Roofing. They are professional, well priced, tidy, friendly and very helpful. I have already requested additional work from them as I was so impressed.

We had a leaking vellum window in the roof over the kitchen, Andy came over and looked at what needed to be done, explaining clearly what he could do and provided a quote quickly. He answered all our questions and reassured us about the work needed.

"On receipt of the window he arranged a day to do the work and was true to his word. He worked quickly and it was obvious to see that he took pride in his work and wanted to do a good job for us.
He cleared up on completion and you would not know he had been. The window fit is perfect and we received all the warranty papers via email.

Andy was professional in all his dealings with us and provided all the information we needed to make our decision. We can highly recommend him, his approach was friendly and he was skilled in the work he undertook for us and you could see he took pride in doing a good job."
