Investigation into a patio door lock that was presenting difficulties with locking.
 

"The fault was spotted immediately i.e.: wear and tear, the door was heavy in movement, but not unable to function. A lubrication was applied, and ball bearings adjusted and a second door was also checked. Apart from this no further action was needed. This was carried out in a friendly and efficient workmen. The key to my mother’s cash box went missing on the 11th. September at 97 she was distraught that somebody had stolen it and emptied the box of the contents which were precious to her.
 

"I telephoned Lee at Surelock Security after 4p.m. on the 11th., by which time it was obviously too late for him to do anything that day. Understanding my mother’s agitation he extremely helpfully offered to call at her home on the following morning at 9a.m. he arrived on the stroke of 9 when I met him, opened the box (the contents were in fact intact), and fitted a new lock before leaving. Many thanks for your review. I am glad you were happy with the fitters work.

We always try to keep our cost to a minimum. However in this case the gear box that was needed for the job was of the old style, there are not many of these made anymore so the price for the gear box will always be higher. As well as this we also had to gain entry to the door first as the door would not open.
