Carlisle Window Systems manufacture and supply our own extensive range of UPVC Windows,Composite Doors, UPVC Doors, Fascias/ Soffits, Warm Roof systems & conservatories.
Our local sales rep Martin West, lives and is based in Dumfries covering D & G. Martin has been in the UPVC industry for 30 years and would love to help you with anything you may need.

Three new double glazed windows.

"Martin came out to measure up the windows within a week of ringing up the company requesting a quote. He is very helpful and will answer any questions you have. The quote was emailed to us very promptly. There is a 4-5 month wait to get windows fitted, but the fitters come promptly and work efficiently and conscientiously. The work was done to a good standard and the work area was tidied up before they left. I would recommend this company and have already booked to get some more windows fitted by them!"

We had 11 windows replaced and a new double glazed ''internal'' door fitted by Carlisle windows.

"Although we had to wait a long time (almost 6 months) to have the windows installed the work was exceptional. The two installers were very careful, conscientious and a pleasure to work with. A couple of panes turned out defective but CWS replaced them quickly and with absolutely no fuss whatsoever. Couple of corner joints on the frames were poorly finished and not flush but these were fixed on site at time of installation. Although the quality of the work turned out to be a 10, could only score a 9 because of these issues.

From start to finish, it was a pleasure dealing with what turned out to be a very professional and informed company with excellent customer service. Will not hesitate in using CWS again when needed for future work."

Removing our old double-glazed windows and supplying and fitting five new double-glazed window units to our house.

"Having had our old double-glazed windows for over 30 years they were showing their age and needed to be replaced. We made contact with three recommended suppliers and following site visits and discussion, we settled on Carlisle Window Systems Ltd to supply and fit our 5 new windows. We were not disappointed.

Right from the start Martin quickly assessed our needs and during a detailed "plain English" discussion provided us with a clear understanding, advice and guidance of all the options for us to select from including thicker 6mm glass on some windows, trickle vents and the variety of window openings available. Perfect!

Having made our decisions, following a few days of thinking time, Martin provided us with a very competitive quotation. The order was placed. Communication from the Carlisle team kept us informed of progress and fitting day arrived with Dan and his colleague arriving as planned. In no time the old windows were out and the new ones installed. Very friendly, clean, tidy and professional. Impressed! .............and the windows look great.

Excellent customer care and good communication throughout. Brilliant! Thanks to Martin and the wider team. Highly recommended!

Supply and install patio doors and living room windows.

"CWS were very accommodating in every way we needed. We needed to change some ageing doors and a window as we felt they were past their best. Martin West their representative called us to arrange a convenient time for him to visit our property.

Mr.West visited our property at the agreed time and first of all checked our existing doors and windows and agreed that they were beyond economical repair. He listened to what we needed and advised us on points we were unsure about. Mr.West said that he would send us an email with a plan of what we required and a quote. We received the quote within 24hrs and diagrams of the proposed new units. We agreed that the price was affordable and we sent confirmation to go ahead with the job. We sent the required deposit by bank transfer.

A few weeks before the job was due to be done CWS office phoned us to enquire that the agreed day was ok for the installation.

The installation team arrived on time and were very polite and smartly dressed in their company work clothes. They explained what they were going to do and how long it was going to take. The work was carried out with the least fuss and any mess created was tidied and cleaned as they carried out the work. The job was completed on time and looked fantastic. The team even cleaned the new windows inside and out. All the old units were taken away as agreed from the initial quotation.

The quality of the windows is absolutely fantastic and we are already reaping the benefits from the new units by their soundproofing values.

I would like to thank CWS for a fantastic job from start to finish.

"From the first visit by Martin the sales representative who explained the options of the window and door designs you know Carlisle Window Systems are a company you can rely on. The work is carried out in a caring and professional manner and they show the utmost respect for your property. They take great care in removing the old windows and doors and do a great job in the fitting the new ones. The make sure the work is finished to a very high and professional standard. "One of the easiest home improvement transactions we have had. A no-pressure initial visit to get a quote and then everything was as expected, apart from they managed to fit the windows earlier than promised, which was an added bonus.

There were a couple of snagging items which were rectified very quickly.

Replacement of old wooden windows with new uPVC, including bay windows and a dormer window. Replacement of old front and back doors with new uPVC doors.

"From the initial enquiry, Martin and the team at Carlisle Window Systems have been great to deal with. Martin provided suggestions on the style of new windows which was very much appreciated - it can be a bit of a minefield making decisions. We also visited the show room to see handles/window frosting and were given helpful advice there too.
We were made aware of the lead times and I chose CWS over another company who could have done the work sooner, something that I don't regret.
Our install date was when they said it would be and the installations team went above and beyond for us, even taking in a couch and bed delivery when we weren't there! Again, very welcome suggestions were made regarding trims etc. One of our bay windows didn't quite go to plan but it was made wind and water tight and the boys returned to site 5 days later with a new unit - nothing felt like a problem. The house was left tidy every night which is a welcome sight when you are renovating!
The house looks great both inside and out with the new windows and feels quieter inside.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending CWS to anyone."

"Carlisle Window Systems were professional friendly and really easy to deal with. Martin has obviously been doing this job for a long time and somehow managed to almost read my mind when it came to me choosing all the details for our windows & doors. He told us before we ordered how long the time frame was before we would get them fitted which was extremely accurate and when Dan came to fit them they were fast efficient and very good at tidying up after themselves. Dan also took the time to tell me if I or my husband found anything we didn’t like or weren’t happy with to tell him and he would fix it. We didn’t find anything. Great product and service, so much so my mum has decided her new front door will also be a Carlisle Window systems door."

"Price & details were all explained on the first visit & things noted of my preferences on the finer details.
On the visit for the measurements to be taken they confirmed my choices making sure I was happy with them.
The date of work to start removing my old conservatory & fitting new one got changed twice owing to covid & staff being off but the workmen were very pleasant when here, everything was cleaned before they left & I now have a lovely new conservatory."

"We had 3 windows and a back door replaced. Great service from start to finish. Good range and choice of products. After first call there representative came out to measure up and advise, once we agreed on what we wanted a few weeks and then another visit to finalised and recheck measurements. The fitters arrived on the correct day nice and early, they worked fast efficient kept everything nice and clean. Also gave lots of advise and adjusted other doors to make our house more wind proof. Very happy with product and have arranged further work. All staff we have dealt with are pleasant, professional and friendly. Would recommend this company and their products. The whole process from quote to completion of work was quick and easy. The work was carried out in two days and my house was left clean and tidy.
