We moved from a 4 bed house in Switzerland to the UK. We had our things kept in store for 3 weeks before delivery. We did our own packing.

"The whole experience was smooth and stress-free from the initial inquiry to the final delivery. After the initial inquiry I did the video call with Bob, showing him round the house and talking through what we were taking and what we were leaving. A quote was provided detailing all the insurance options and claim details, and there were clear instructions about the customs requirements. We had emails leading up to the pick-up making sure we were all on the same page. The boxes and packing materials were delivered in good time and clearly explained which boxes were suitable for which items. On pick-up day we had a message with the ETA and the team were punctual. They were very professional and handled our things carefully. They were a great team.
On delivery our load came on two consecutive days and again the team were fantastic - they knew/remembered which pieces came from which rooms, they were punctual and they adapted when things didn’t fit into the places we had thought they would. All our items were delivered without damage.
Overall, they were a great team."

My wife inherited the contents of her cousin''s flat in Montreux. The WhatsApp group for Britons in Montreux recommended Luker Brothers. There were only 3 items of furniture, the rest was made up of glass, porcelain, cutlery, textiles.

"The quotation came in very promptly, all the customs arrangememts were handled for us and we felt supported the whole way. The removers arrived prompty and swiftly packed fragile china. glass and pictures very carefully. Delivery o London was also as quick as we needed. Luker Brothers employ very nice and expert staff.

The British Association of Removers' insurance form is not written in the clearest of English - this is no responsibility of Luker Brothers."

Move from Switzerland to Somerset UK with storage inbetween

"Totally stress free move due to Luker Bros efficiency and communication. Nothing was too much trouble for them, Bob always answered queries quickly and was extremely knowledgeable with import duties etc. now having moved into our new Somerset home after 18 months of storage, the move in was their usual calmness and efficiency. They know what they are doing and are brilliant at it. All the goods including a large amount of antiques and paintings were stored correctly and in the same condition as when they left Switzerland. "Luker Bros helped us with our move from Geneva to London. Bob was very professional and helpful , clearly explaining everything required, providing guidance & reassurance from start to finish.
We were constantly kept getting updates from Bob - communication was perfect. Move went smoothly no issues whatsoever. His team, Steve and Lee where very polite, professional gentlemen and helpful and took excellent care of our personal belongings. Top service overall - would highly recommend. Upsizing from a 3 bed semi to a 4 bed detached just round the corner.

"Luker Bros made our move so much easier, from initial contact to the day of the move they were quick to respond, friendly, helpful and professional.
They started bright and early the day before the move and packed up 75% of our possessions. They swept through each room methodically, leaving it clear. Everything was handled, wrapped and packed carefully and respectfully.
The morning of the move felt calm, with lighthearted chatter making it as stress free as these things can be!
When we got to our new house, the previous owners hadn’t finished moving all their stuff out but the guys worked around them, reassuring us and turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a calm, smooth operation.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt and the team, they are 100% worth every penny."

My move was bringing a part load of furniture and household items, some antique, from the UK to Switzerland.

"I had a very positive experience dealing with Luker Bros. I had used them some years ago to bring furniture to Switzerland but not recently. They responded quickly to our request for a quote and then provided one based on photos of the items. The items were being stored in a relation‘s garage and Luker Bros handled the collection arrangements directly. As a part load, our items had to be part of a full load but there was only a week or so between collection by Luker Bros and delivery to Switzerland. Swiss customs was handled very efficiently and on the day of delivery we were kept well informed as to when the delivery would arrive, so we didn‘t need to wait in all day. On cost, we had a quote for the move from a major UK delivery firm and Luker Bros were much much more reasonable."

The contents of a 3-bedroom apartment in Switzerland were moved to a storage location in Surrey.

"We are in our late 70’s and the thought of moving all our belongings from Switzerland to England filled us with apprehension. We requested quotations from several firms before deciding on Luker Brothers who were recommended by several people on an ex-pat website in Switzerland.

The deciding factor, however, was the excellent help and communications with Bob Cherry who guided us through the paperwork and made everything very straightforward on our part. The two men who did the actual loading, Steve and Tommy, were nothing short of brilliant. They were friendly and intelligent and the speed at which they moved was nothing short of remarkable. At the same time they took great care of all the items and nothing was damaged at all.

The move into storage was just as quick and efficient and the guys fitted everything in beautifully. We were so pleased with the move that we recommended Luker Brothers to a neighbour in Switzerland and she has contracted them to do her move. During a long career in the Royal Navy with many moves between addresses, I can honestly say that this was the easiest and most efficient removal of all.

We would highly recommend Luker Brothers without reservation to anyone contemplating a move from Switzerland."

"I was informed of the exact date of collection in the UK, the shop in the UK was contacted and everything was arranged as requested.
I was well informed of the approximate date and time the goods would be delivered to me in Switzerland and before the actual delivery day, the time of delivery was also confirmed.

Steve and Tommy who delivered the cupboards were so friendly and so very helpful, nothing was too much for them."
