Moving from a 3 bed semi to a 3 bed detached. 29 miles between the 2 properties.

"Matt visited us to carry out the survey and quotation. He was friendly, polite and professional and responded promptly to all of our enquiries - even at the weekend and outside of normal business hours.

Ashley and the team (4 in total) turned up with a large furniture lorry and a Luton van as promised and all our possessions were loaded in less than 3 hours. At the other end they took even less time to move us in. We just had to direct them where things went and keep them going with cups of tea. They worked hard and none of our stuff was damaged.

I would highly recommend R & J Removals. We had 3 quotations and they were not the dearest and we are very pleased with how smoothly it all went."

We were moving from a large 4 bedroomed detached house with easy access to a bungalow down a single track road in a country village with steps accessing the property

"The whole team made the move as stress free as possible. They were with us for 2 days packing and loading and were punctual, reliable and very hard working. Nothing was too much trouble. The property we moved into was difficult to access with heavy/awkward furniture as there were many steps/slopes but they managed so well with no complaints. It was also a very hot day which made it especially difficult. We got many quotes from various removal firms and R and J were very competitively priced but we also just really liked them. We can't thank them enough for their hard work."

"We couldn't recommend R & J Removals more! They made what could have been a stressful process so easy. Matt and the team were polite, tidy and incredibly efficient, packing and moving for us. They took care in putting all or belongings in the correct place, making unpacking significantly easier. Matt in particular took great care in making sure I would be able to easily access all the clothes and equipment we'd need when our baby arrives in September! Move from a relatively new build to a cottage with an internal layout that isn�t easy to get big pieces of furniture upstairs but the removal team managed with ease & couldn�t have offered more as they all were really helpful and confirmed where we would like everything put ahead of putting the furniture down. The road outside the house is narrow

"The moving lorry fit perfect with easy access to the house, even neighbours commented how well set up R&J was which is a relief not to be an annoyance when moving to a new area.

All staff from start to finish were really helpful & easy to arrange with, I would recommend and definitely be using again if we move again."

We upsized from a 3 bed detached to a 4 bed detached. Notable item to move was a large tv & gaming bed.

"We upsized from a 3 bed detached to a 4 bed detached. R&J were quick to quote, reasonably priced and very friendly. On the day, they turned up on time, treated the properties and our belongings with respect, and were extremely quick and efficient. They also dismantled and reassembled a large gaming/tv bed perfectly. Could not be happier with their service and would not hesitate to recommend."

"The team of three enabled us to move our family home with ease - on one of the hottest days of the year, the team worked relentlessly, quickly and efficiently to load our whole house up, and clear down - nothing was too much and they were fabulous!
They packed up within 3 hours, and unloaded in 2... all in all the best service at such a reasonable rate - they really were fantastic."

I moved from a four bed large semi to a smaller townhouse, within a couple of miles of each other.

"R and J removals stepped in at short notice after I was let down by another firm. They gave me a better quote, and everything went smoothly from that point. They were very good at responding to any queries. On the day they were punctual and worked very quickly. The whole move was expertly handled, and the guys were polite and helpful. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would recommend this company when moving house."
