THe destination delivery was more challenging due to being on 4th floor but they dealt with it very well.

A downsizing move, fraught with concern items would not fit, but they did. A household of average furniture, china and paintings, but no antiques. Usual personal chattels in terms of clothes and jewellery. Staddlestones and ancient stoneware from the garden. .oved from large 5 bedroom house to much smaller 4 bedroom detached.

"Your team were polite, efficient and helpful in making suggestions for where an item of furniture might be best placed. They were very considerate of my nervy cat and helped to ensure she didn't run off and make the move more challenging.

They also advised me to take a couple of heavy items with me when I was wavering, pointing out that they were fairly valuable and sought after (staddlestones). They were right and these are now safely at my new home.

Overall the experience was definitely as good,as it could be.

Thank you very much, I would certainly use your firm again, but hope not not need to for a fair while!"

Three day move of 3-bed detached house in a town to a two-bed cottage in a rural village.

"Mark, the surveyor, via a video call, was efficient and helpful (he also did our office move). Communication before the move with Pearl was very helpful and detailed, and she responded to our queries efficiently. The move was over a 3 day period and the removal guys worked very hard, and were always friendly and courteous. Thank you to Kris, Rory, Tim and Dave."

300 m wooded lane to house, so had to ferry to main lorry and trailer, vast volume of boxes, heavy furniture and garden stoneware and pots. Low ceilings at prior house and tight access to some rooms.
Driveway at new house too narrow for lorry and trailer so had to park in road.
 

"All your staff were a delight, they got on with the job and considering the mess made by the vacating occupants they worked above and beyond the call of duty.

We moved the contents of our large chalet bungalow from Ferndown, Dorset to Ferring, West Sussex. Packing was first day then final pack and move and unload on second day.

"White's came to our house to assess the load for moving and we were able to ask questions about the details for packing and removal. Other companies offered a virtual tour but we preferred the pesonal touch. We were able to get the packing boxes early on to give us sufficient time to sort, pack and label our things. We were allowed more boxes when we had used those provided.

The removal to the van was accomplished much quicker than we had anticipated and the packers helped us to pack some of our last minute items. They were incredibly quick yet careful with our large number of fragile pieces. At the destination, they manoeuvered their large van with great skill in and out of a narrow access road.

"The two guys arrived punctually and got to work straight away. They made sure they knew which items were not being taken to the new office, and worked in a methodical way to pack the lorry in an efficient manner. Contents of bungalow moved to new bungalow 35 miles away. My husband is wheelchair user so stand aid and rise and recline chair packed last and unpacked first - no problems there.
 

"I cannot remember the names of the three men who moved us (but I am old and terrible at remembering names at the best of times but they were all excellent, helpful, polite and understanding of the problems of moving an 84 year old with advanced parkinsons and a 77 year old woman with arthritis!

"Having lost my husband, I was both emotional and anxious about the move, but from the moment Steve and Darren arrived, they were very kind and reassuring. Pete joined them on the removal day and was just as kind.

The actual legal completion took so long! Again, I was extremely stressed but the guys were so patient and supportive. I can't thank them enough."

We downsized from a large old house to a town house 13 miles away with fewer and smaller rooms. We had been in our house for 21 years and had a huge amount of books, curios, pictures plus some large items including a piano. We also wanted to move several heavy stone urns and statues.

"We were very happy with the service provided by Whites and were glad we paid for them to pack for us. The booking was easy and the moving process was handled with efficiency. The movers were very pleasant while clearly knowing their job. Given the number of staff and size of vehicle required we felt the service was very fairly priced.
