We had a lot of stuff to move, including a great number of books and a piano! We were moving about 8 miles away.

"A friend recommended Mr Shifter for our move. We were visited at our old house to assess what was to be moved and to plan the move. As the new house is quite rural and up an unsealed track we were anxious about vehicles but these worries were allayed by the utilisation of Luton vans rather than a huge removal van.
All timings went according to plan. The two gentlemen from Mr Shifter were professional, efficient, and took great care with our furniture. They were friendly and took a lot of trouble to get things right.
All in all, Mr Shifter made what could have been a very stressful day much less so than it could have been. Highly recommended!"

When Ryan came out to give us a quote for the move, he was professional, courteous and extremely patient, as we were late to the appointment. However, he waited around until we arrived and answered all of questions about the moving process and what we could expect. The office staff who contacted me about timeline, payment, paperwork/legal stuff etc., was friendly and very efficient. In our move to our new home there were a number of items that were very bulky and heavy, for example large sideboards, extra long sofas, a ridiculous amount of garden furniture and plant pots( with plants still inside) a filthy and heavy job.

"This was not a problem for the three man team. Even the long, narrow country lane that they had to navigate along was not a problem, nor carrying the heavy furniture to each correct room/ garden areas- which were a fair distance.All the work was carried out with good banter and a good attitude towards the job. All of the furniture was transported without any fuss and arrived in perfect condition. What more can you ask for?

Mr Shifter team made the whole process of moving home swift and easy. We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of the service they provided. To be honest, it�s was an absolute breath of fresh air to have received such a top quality level of customer service, which is rare to find these days. Mr Shifter is by far the best removal company we have used. They guys arrived early, were very respectful of the property and my belongings. Nothing was rushed and all fragile items were wrapped in blankets and treated with care. We were moving 2 hours further North and the truck was waiting for us by the time we arrived! The guys placed everything into the rooms requested - there were no breakages or damage to anything.

Following the intial home survey, which was smooth and easy. As we were moving from a single track remote property it gave us the peace of mind on access and parking of the vans etc. Plus meant we were certain there would be no last minute issues.

"Amazing removal company!

We had a last minute completion on our house move. Rang Mr Shifter on Wednesday, and they were with us Thursday and house emptied by Thursday afternoon all ready for the move in Friday morning.

The unload was just as smooth and very professionally handled.

"Mr Jim Gray, owner of Mr Shifter, personally came to our property and gave us our quote and explained the nature and detail of his quote. On the day his team came to our house and loaded our goods into crates to be taken to store. All was done in a friendly and professional manner.
