My move date kept changing because of issues with chain above so had to keep changing the provisional booking with the company before finally being able to secure a definite date.

"Excellent service from the start to completion I was constantly having to change the provisional booking and staff were always accommodating. All staff are courteous and polite team arrived exactly at the time given to me there was a problem with an antique wardrobe which the removal guys took great care and time to make sure they carefully took it apart as agreed previously.
I would definitely recommend this company and certainly use again without hesitation

"they were so thoughtful and helpful, they made our move as stress free as a move can be, they were a great team and worked really well together, nothing was too much trouble, they moved our belongings which such integrity, thought and care.
I would recommend Good Move to anyone, they were just a fab team from the quote, then the communication with the quote to the actual move.

Great , friendly and professional service from the Good Move guys. They were incredibly helpful particularly when we had a delay getting the keys. They worked so hard in the heat to get the items unloaded. No damage to note. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend Good Move

"I had a very positive experience with Good Move removals from my initial enquiry to the move itself. They were professional and accommodating, given I had to change my move date a couple of times. It was not a problem and they were very reassuring.
I had a consultation by one of the team who came out to my house to give me all the relevant information for the move. All emails and invoices were dealt with promptly and efficiently.
On the day, the 2 drivers arrived on time and introduced themselves, very polite and friendly and they proceeded to carefully pack their lorry with my belongings and drove the 4 hours to Nottinghamshire from Colchester. I met them at the other end where we had a bit of a wait for the keys, then all the items were again, �carefully� unloaded and taken to the appropriate areas of the house.
All in all, a very �Good Move�.😊. Highly recommend this firm."

"The service we received was excellent from start to finish. Gary came to our home and arranged our move involving 2 removal trucks over 3 days. The removal team led by Jamie and James were brilliant,arriving on time every time,putting every box and item where requested and treating our possessions with utmost care.A very friendly and hard working team even during the constant rain on moving day!

"Top work from the team. Arrived early, carefully but quickly emptied the house and were waiting for us when the keys turned up for the new place. All move back in with the same speed and care. "Following recommendations I used Goodmove in 2019. I had absolutely no hesitation in seeking their help on my recent move.

Move from a 3 bed town house to 3/4 bed link-detached. We have 3 children and a LOT of stuff!

"We had a brilliant experience with Good Move - what a polite, upbeat and hard-working team! When we didn't get our keys until 3pm,extra bodies were provided at no extra cost to us to help unload.

A minor point us that the limitation of the Time Waiting waiver should
be explained at Quotation stage, along with potential extra costs.

Aside from that, we would recommend GoodMove to anyone - thank you everyone (including Megan in the office) for making a stressful day much easier.

Having packed our house into a massive new lorry and a smaller one, we were frustrated not receiving the keys to the new property until 3.00pm. The rain was consistent and the team from Goodmove covered all carpets in the new house and also the stairs giving good protection. They all worked tirelessly until everything was in the new property.

"The first person I spoke with was Gary, who visited us and saw what was needed to move our home to our new home. We preferred his skills to decide what size trucks were necessary as opposed to other companies who asked for us to fill in forms for size of furniture in each room. It was a task we didn�t feel happy about and Gary�s expertise was much better. We received the quote and decided we needed to use the skills of professional packing. It was a wise choice.
The boxes, and furniture were effortlessly moved and put into the rooms which were already marked on the packing. It was well organised and the men really worked as a team."

We had sold 2 houses, these needed to be condensed into a single move over 2 days. Despite to awful weather, the team from Good Move did a fantastic job getting us into the new home by 5pm on move in day

"We cannot commend the Good Move team highly enough. Despite the pouring rain, they where polite and very well organised, managing to get us moved with no delay at all.

They made sure the floors and doors where covered and never made any mess throughout the whole day.

The 3 lads were a pleasure to work with, I would recommend using them for any move you might be undertaking.

Due to divorce I had things to move from two different locations in different towns to my new address. To make it more complicated both me and my ex had to move stuff from our house on the same day. And my new place was a third floor flat.

"Good Move were amazing. Despite the complexity of the move and the fact that it was a particularly warm day to move into a third floor flat they got it all done with absolutely no problem. I have not found a single item missing or damaged and everything that they had to disassemble to move was put back together correctly. Even the booking was easy. They were able to save a date for me and book it only when I had exchanged contacts. Really positive experience"

Not knowing removal company I had a search through different options. I found the website to be a professional and clear about the services on over. I called up to make an appointment and there was a prompt response.

"A smart and confident team member came round and we went round each room. We opted for the packing service which made life much easier. On the day of the move 3 team members arrived on time and introduced themselves.They were very patient as we have a number of dogs. We also lived in a town house making their job twice as hard. When the furniture and boxes arrived in the new house they made absolutely sure that we were happy with where the furniture was in the correct position. initial phone call, the visit to provide a quote. Moving is stressful but hearing the moving team being so relaxed and friendly kept our stress levels down.

The service I received was smooth and as per expected. No hassle, professional and friendly

Very difficult move as destination was on the 2nd floor and every item had to be carried up the stairs. The two chaps were brilliant and I can''t thank them enough.

"Good Move were brilliant, I couldn't have asked for better service. It was a very difficult move from a 1st floor flat to a 2nd floor flat and with the 2nd floor flat they were not allowed to use the lift at all. I have several items of very heavy and awkward shaped furniture plus about 30 boxes, but two men did every item and boxes. I can't thank them enough."

We moved recently from a nice sized 3 bedroomed house, to a very small bungalow. It was only half a mile away but we had quite large furniture and so many boxes to try and fit in. I was worried we wouldn�t fit it all in and worried about my husbands beloved large screen TV. All my worries were put to rest- great service.

"What great service we received from the Good Move moving and storage. From Megan in the office and Gary who came to price the job.

They were readily available on the end of the phone for any query�s or worry�s I had.

On the day, the llads Fin,Jake and Mike were very respectful and polite throughout the move.
Nothing was too much trouble. They handled the items with care and attention.

Once at the new property the lads were more than happy to deliver the boxes where they needed to go.

The whole team made a very stressful day into an enjoyable experience.

Removal from Oxfordshire to Hundon Suffolk 13/14/15 November 2023

"Good Move were recommended to us by Mr Mrs Warwick who did a similar move from Oxfordshire to Witnesham Suffolk. The survey by Gary Smith was very thorough and we had to change the removal date twice before the final move but there were no issues for the team.

The move itself was very fast and efficient and the team assigned to us were absolutely brilliant - polite, friendly and very good at what they do.

George followed up after the move and very quickly arranged for empty boxes to be collected.
