move from surrey to somerset over two days with transshipping at both locations.

"from the punctual arrival on day one it was a real pleasure to work with the guys from Martells. it was a difficult location at both ends of the move which was handled really well without any issues over the 2 day removal.
transhipping was required at both ends and this was handled with no issues, in conclusion I would highly recommend Martells for a stress free removals experience."

The move was carried out very well and according to the schedule. It was a local move so I was able to check at all times that the progress was as expected. One interesting aspect, I had no idea of the number of boxes that were required but I was impressed that the company estimated the correct number for the move.

"A staggered move in and out was handled professionally, as ever, by Martells, both over the phone and on the two days it involved.
This is the second time I have used Martells to move house. Both times were made as easy for me as could be at such a stressful time.
Beds were assembled for me at my new home and a freezer moved twice. Both pairs of men were helpful ( move out and move in men were different). Concern raised by the team when something was left at my daughters instead of my home. I was reassured the problem would be resolved, and it was.Thank you so much Martells�..a stressful time for me made easier."

We moved from another county, down to Sussex. The move included lots of large furniture items getting through narrow doorways and hallways.

"The initial contact was friendly and helpful, staff made it easy to book the service.

The removal men made it look so easy, knowing exactly how to manoeuvre each item with care to get it out and then back in again. The removal team arrived promptly, were so lovely and friendly and took time to listen to my grandads stories."

House move from East Surrey to mid-Dorset, over 5 days with two removal vans and third shuttle van.

"We chose Martell's based on availability and price after comparing prices with two other competitors. Their representative expressed a can-do attitude and his previous driving/packing experience and knowledge helped our decision. We lived on an unmade road with access too narrow for the largest van so a shuttle with a smaller van was offered. The representative offered packing over two days prior to loading on moving day. In fact a third packing day was eventually included due to the volume of goods in the house, loft, garden and sheds. The move from East Surrey to mid-Dorset went according to plan with the larger van arriving mid-afternoon. The second van arrived mid morning of the second day in Dorset. All contents were successfully moved into the house, garages, and shed by lunchtime of the final day."

3 bedroomed terraced house move Crawley to Hailsham

"We moved 2 weeks ago and are very happy with the service provided by the team. The lorry arrived on time and the guys loaded our boxes and furniture very speedily. They were able to manoeuvre the really heavy items from tricky spaces with no trouble.
When they arrived at the new house, the unloading was just as swift and they positioned the furniture in the correct rooms and boxes wherever we asked. Nothing got broken or damaged. Prior to the move, we were given ample boxes and wrapping paper with the option to ask for more if necessary. The guys were very courteous and respectful of our possessions. Having previously used a van and ourselves for move, we�re pleased we didn�t on this occasion. So much less stressful.
We would definitely recommend."

"The whole experience of dealing with Martells was excellent from start to finish. Adam in the office was very helpful & accommodating- nothing was too much trouble for him. The removal guys arrived promptly & were very efficient & personable. They took care of our belongings & were very professional throughout. They exceeded our expectations & made us feel happy with our decision to use Martells. We cannot recommend the company highly enough."

Moved us out of a 4 bedroom house in Banstead to a property in Haywards Heath. Packing wasn''t part of the quote, just the removal of boxes and all other items.

"I was impressed with initial visit and subsequent follow up emails.
The number of boxes delivered was spot on and they were delivered when I asked for them ahead of the move with good communication, particularly as I was on holiday until the week before we moved.

The move itself went smoothly - the guys that turned up were very professional and prompt and worked really hard to ensure we were out of the house on time. Unfortunately, one of the guys didn't turn up for one of the days which put more pressure on the other two, particularly as it was incredibly hot. They could definitely have done with the third person but still did a fantastic job and moved everything on that day.

I would highly recommend to anyone moving house. Very professional at all times and good communication."

Martells moved all my furniture into storage, with separate containers required for short and long term storage.

"Martells were helpful throughout the process, providing a competitive removals and storage quote. They provided boxes and packing material beforehand.
The two removal men were excellent. They were calm, efficient and well organised, and breakables and pictures were carefully packed before going into the containers. They did the job quickly and thoroughly and left the house very tidy.
It was altogether a good experience, and I would highly recommend them."
