An office move from Guildford to Portsmouth. Usual office desks, chair bookshelves, pre-packed boxes and a large heavy (70Kg) industrial oven.

"I contacted three companies for quotes. One never responded, one quoted significantly lower than Surrey Hills but looked far more residential and less "professional" than Surrey Hills. Both quoted on a batch of pictures I had taken at the office plus my clear description of what to take.

We did the packing into various size boxes including a large "mirror" box which took larger stuff like a whiteboard and some long items. I was most concerned about the (to me at least) very heavy oven which would cost near to �10k to replace if damaged. Hence the choice to go more professional. The pre-removal documentation and contract communication was excellent throughout.

On the day, three men turned up and worked quickly and efficiently. We had arranged for two separate delivery addresses and they took care to differentiate the two very carefully. They left promptly after getting my agreement that everything necessary was on the van. We had some stuff to go in a separate car and the removers arrived before we had moved it all from the office. It was fine but better to have it out of the way beforehand.

They did the first drop quickly and made it to the final drop just before we arrived there. The new office delivery entrance was a bit tricky but the team negotiated the corridor and lift to the second floor without complaint. Everything was delivered safely and efficiently and off they went after we signed the job off as OK."

This was a two-way move owing to divorce so half of the home contents went to one address and the rest to a different address on a separate date. The second move required 2 days to complete because of the distance involved (350 miles away).

"Once my property went on the market, I received several letters and promotional details from a number of removal firms. I selected Surrey Heath Removals on the basis of the information they supplied which was very comprehensive. The company sent an assessor to discuss the various requirements for this 2-way move (contents were going to two different addresses) and was very helpful and professional. I had assumed this was a complex situation but was reassured it was not unusual and was immediately relieved to hear that. I felt much more relaxed and confident after the visit.

The actual move took place on two separate dates with two different crews, both of which were extremely helpful and professional. My move was the second of two which took place over 2 days as it involved a journey of over 350 miles. The crew worked tirelessly and took extra care with all of my belongings. At the destination, the crew impressively manoeuvred the truck up a very narrow access lane which astonished everyone. Everything was completed with care and also sympathy towards me as I was going through a major life change. By the end of the move, I felt the crew were almost personal friends as they had been so helpful.

Our move has happened over a year. Pack in and storage, delivery from storage, additional support with moving from a small temporary residence followed by final removal after our tenants moved out.

"I have moved houses in countries around the world and also general cartage over a lifetime of experiences.

Surrey Hills Removals are by far the best I have ever experienced. Their team are fantastic communicators, flexible and enormously careful. "We knew that our property was in good hands from the start. Everything was carried out in a professional manner, exactly how it was described in the run up to the move; and it was short notice too.
I was delighted with the whole removal experience and felt little stress as I had been reassured of the procedure and felt everyone involved was trustworthy.
The team were great to have around the house on moving as they reassured me too and were extremely considerate to us all and to our property.
Nothing was too much trouble and they helped make it as easy as possible."

We moved from a 2-bed house in Guildford to a 3-bed in Hastings.

"We got three quotes and selected Surrey Hills. While they were not the cheapest, the visit from Mark to quote left us feeling confident in this firm - he took his time and. One company's rep was full of bland sales chat and the other - a big local firm - would only do online FaceTime sessions or wanted me to fill in a spreadsheet myself.

We had the full packing service so three guys came the day before to do most of the packing and then finished the following day - moving day. All the crew were quick, efficient, proactive and friendly throughout and we felt absolutely in safe hands. I'd absolutely recommend them."

"A very efficient move with experienced and friendly helpful staff. Most of the packing was done on the two days prior to the move leaving just a few essentials for the actual move date. Everything else was delivered by the end of the following day. No breakages or damage to any of our goods. We are very happy to recommend as the overall service was of high quality throughout"

We had a double house move to contend with - a full storage facility full of household goods plus the contents of a 2 bed flat and garden stuff.

"Surrey Hills carried our move out over a two day period and from the minute they arrived they were friendly, helpful and polite. Outrun move was a particularly stressful one due to difficult family circumstances and I felt that the guys made the process a happy, stress free one. There was nothing too much trouble for the team, they were in good spirits, hard working and really made us feel at ease. They even went the extra mile by helping us with other bits and pieces that were not in their remit.
Would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"I cannot fault the service provided by Surrey Hills / Mann�s Removals.

The initial quote was professionally handled and, whilst not the cheapest, they appeared to be professional and the best value. They are also local.

The office team were calm and reassuring at every contact & stage of the process. This helped immensely at a time of �moving� stress.

My removal team were brilliant. Very professional & courteous whilst being cheerful, friendly & helpful.

They went out of their way to ensure that I was happy before they left me to continue with my unpacking.

The empty boxes etc were collected promptly.

The whole team made a stressful time as painless as it can be.

I would most definitely recommend Surrey Hills / Mann�s Removals.

"Surrey Hills Removals provided us with a thoroughly competent and professional removal service from our home in Surrey to N.Wiltshire during COVID and lockdown. They attended our property in an efficient manner to work out truck access and to give an accurate quote. This quote proved to be very competitive against other quotes we received. Their removal men were excellent, as strong as oxen!, very friendly and respectful. Their time keeping was on point, they cleaned up and took away all rubbish and packing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering moving home"
